The apartment is situated in a select part of the complex where, no one is above or below and no one passes in front, giving you your privacy.
We have totally refurbished the apartment to a very high standard to give you complete comfort.
The main room has twin beds to the rear with a good size lounge with a sofa bed for a 3rd person if needed. To make you feel at home there is a 32” wide screen television with SKY TV , a DVD player with a selection of dvd,s . The separate fully modern kitchen has full electric oven, hob, kettle, toaster and all your cooking and eating utensils, and a lovely welcome pack.
The bathroom has a walk in shower, toilet and vanity all with a luxury feel.
Outside on your terrace for you there is a table and chairs for your al fresco dining, and there are many sunlounger available for you around the pool.
All towels (incl. beach towels) are provided and of course bed linen.
The apartment is immaculate and tastefully decorated and is situated in the old town of Puerto del Carmen in an area known locally as “millionaire's row” due to the expensive and exclusive villas opposite the complex. A few minutes walk will take you to the lovely harbour with an array of bars and restaurants overlooking the sea. A 2 minute walk will take you from the complex to the Montana Tropical area where there are bars shops and restaurants, and a further 5 min will take you to the main strip of the Avenida, in the opposite direction a 20 minute coastal walk will take you to the beautiful Puerto Calero Marina where there are more upmarket shops and restaurants and of course many spectacular yachts.
THE COMPLEX HAS FREE WIFI INTERNET CONNECTION, a washing machine, bar/restaurant and most importantly a very helpful complex manager who will give you all the help and information you require.

Well what can i say....Dot and Ken are the most kindest and loveliest of people. This apartment was so beautiful and so was the surrounding area. The apartment was immaculate, very fresh and we enjoyed our week staying here. There was a two minute walk for eating out if you didn't want to go too far away or you can walk for 15/20 minutes down to harbour area where there's loads more, either way the food is lovely. We will hopefully be visiting again this year as we enjoyed out stay in October so much. There's everything in this apartment and more so check with Dot if you really need to pack it, i'm sure Dot will have been one step ahead of you. Highly recommend this apartment. :-)

“Apt 403 Las Terrazas, Puerto del Carmen rocks !!”
This is our second visit to Apt 403 owned by the lovely Dot and Ken Docherty. Once again our stay was magical and the apartment just as we remembered it - wonderful.

“Relaxing break in a well appointed apartment”
I'm just back from a wonderfully relaxing week in Dot and Ken's apartment. I travelled on my own, and from my first enquiry to me leaving, Dot & Ken couldn't have been more helpful. They have completely renovated the apartment, and it is so light and airy and spotlessly clean. The whole complex is very well kept - Mario, the onsite manager- sees to that. Dot has made sure that everything you need for self-catering is there for you. (there's plenty of various places to eat locally, including the on-site bar/restaurant). The welcome pack was so thoughtful too. It is a perfect place to go to unwind. You won't find noisy revellers here, so it's perfect for families/couples/solo travellers. Thanks again Dot & Ken. Next time I'll try to come when it's a bit cooler ! (it's my pale Scottish skin!!) xx

I visited this apartment by myself and found the place clean the people very friendly and helpful the couple that owned the apartment were charming and thoughtful part of me would like to keep this heavenly place to myself but that would be selfish I look forward to my next visit

“Best apartment we have found in 13 years”
What can I say - Dot and Ken must be the most considerate owners ever. The apartment is beautifully refurbished with every convenience one could possibly want. From beach towels to pegs and a sewing kit and everything in between - open a cupboard or a drawer and there it is. We now feel more like friends of Dot and Ken than clients - what happy, lovely people. We have been visiting Lanzarote for the last 13 years and this is the best apartment we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in many apartments over the years). Clean, very comfortable beds, brilliant shower, great cooking facilities and cheerful assistance at the end of a phone should you need it. We are already booked to go back and look forward to seeing Dot and Ken again.

“Excellent stay will def be going back!!”
Me and my partner stayed in Dot and Kens apt for a week in April, the area is great all you need is so close and very worth the money. the apt itself is very very clean and decorated lovely and has everything and more that you would need for a holiday it will actually save you bringing alot of luggage, they have towels both beach and for the shower, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, plugs there is also tv with sky and some channels with dvds too incase of a quiet nite in, cooker,kettle, toaster, fridge, pots pans etc all you would need for a self catering holiday. the patio area is so private nobody passes by which was great for us as we relaxed in the sun there most of time if not at the beach or out and around. the bar/cafe at the pool is so cheap and has lovely food and the staff are very friendly. there are pubs and resturants across the road down a little bit along with the supermarket, all in all this apt is perfect location in the old town, there are a couple of hills but not that bad at all. we look forward to booking with Dot & Ken again but book fast as its very popular and we definitely understandy why, Thanks Dot & Ken ye mad us feel very welcome and we really want to come back if we can!!! Just returned from fantastic week in Dot & Kens immaculate apartment. It has every thing I could have wished for. I was able to travel wish hand luggage due to availability of towells, hairdryer etc. From the moment the helpfull and friendly owners picked me up from the airport I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday was lying by the pool within an hour ol landing. The terrace had sun from 8 am till 6 pm. Perfect location for all resorts facilities but quiet at night and nice and cool thanks to the fan provided. Travelled alone but felt totally safe and secure . Cant wait to return to this loveley apartment.

“a better studio apartment would be hard to find”
all aspects of the apartment were of a high quality and exceptionally clean, beds and bedding, bathroom and shower,kitchen appliances and crockery were all excellent. The complex was good with the pool area kept clean and tidy. the location is just right for a quietness if that is required, it is about 10 minutes walk from the old town centre, however it is quite a hilly. My visit was in November and would not hesitate to book this studio in again.

“Excellent apartment and excellent hosts”
Visited 403 for a week and found the apartment to be beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed including all towels, a hairdryer and a couple of adapter plugs.The apartments are set around a very refreshing pool with a bar and games room. Ken and Dorothy, the owners, couldn't have been more friendly from providing a welcome pack of water, milk, tea, coffee, wine and beer to searching the internet for a company where we could hire a motorbike from and then taking us down to collect it. There are several restaurants and bars within about 100 yards of the apartment and we spent an evening in one with Ken and Dorothy as Ken sings there on Tuesday evenings (thanks for the Elvis tune Ken!). Walking a little bit further brings you to a beautiful harbour area with more restaurants and bars than you could shake a stick at. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere and the views are fantastic. All in all, a brilliant holiday made all the better by Dorothy and Ken being so helpful and welcoming.

“Amazing Holiday, Great Apartment, Just what we were looking for! :-)”
Never been to Lanzarote before & so glad we picked to have our hols ere, the apartment was fab, everything you need, lovely balcony/terrace, sat out there numerous time with a wee glass of wine or two... Apartment was clean/tidy & nicely decorated and ideal for 2 adults and a child. You can grab a full english breakie at the complex bar/resturant for 3Euros - Bargain! Everyone is very friendly and just a 3min walk will take you to the bars/resturants (about 10) for lovely food & a great atmosphere. For 3-4Euros will take you in a cab to San Antonio (5mins by Cab) where the main beach is and lots of choices of bars/resturants/shops. We had the best holiday and will def be coming back next year, the owners were extremley friendly and a pleasure to meet, see you next year guys, x

“Great apartment,Great price.”
2nd time staying at this apartment and cant sing its praises highly enough. Excellent location for a relaxing break away from the front but close enough to walk if you want. Clean,tidy and everything you would need( the fans were a life saver). Lots of TV channels and DVD's but why you would want to stay in and waste a visit to such a lovely Island is beyond me. Dot and Ken (owners) are only a phone call away to sort out or answer any questions you may have and helped us enjoy our holiday. Thank you once again.

“Great little apartment”
Great little apartment in a good location. About 20 minutes walk down hill to the main beach and 10 minutes to the old town. Taxis back are just over €3 too if you don't fancy the walk up hill.
Decorated nicely and very clean with fresh sheets and towels.
Internet access is non-existent and the Sky TV only consists of 3 channels.
Response: Sky has ITV, Sky1, Pick tv,Sky news and about 10 freeview channels channels, and internet IS AVAILABLE in the complex, NOT in the room, this was pointed out at time of booking.
