Further details indoors

Villa Elisa has been lovingly decorated in a traditional Spanish style. The living room has a large picture window providing fabulous sea views and a door which leads out to the upper terrace. The kitchen is separate from the living room and although there is no traditional oven in the villa it does have a combi microwave oven/grill. A large serving hatch with breakfast bar gives an open plan feel. There is not an interior dining area but there is a covered area to the side of the property with large dining table and a barbecue to complete the al fresco dining experience.

The bedrooms are across split levels. The beautifully furnished master bedroom has a feature full-width window, with views that anyone would be delighted to wake up to. This bedroom also has a fully fitted en suite bathroom with traditional Spanish tiles. The two remaining bedrooms both have twin beds and share a shower room.

Further details outdoors

A door from the living room leads out the magnificent, covered terrace offering the most idyllic sea views and the delightful sound of gently lapping waves. This terrace has a relaxing seating area with chill out sofas. A couple of steps lead down to the sunbathing terrace, surrounding the 8 x 3m electrically heated swimming pool, which is entered via ladder steps. There is also access to the sea from the rocks at the bottom of the property.

Due to its location on the sea front, this property is accessed from the promenade via a number of steps, so it would not be a suitable choice for those with walking difficulties or families with small children in pushchairs..

Further details

For guests staying longer than seven nights there is a weekly maid service, which includes a towel and linen change.

About this location

The Canary Islands region

Lanzarote is the most popular year-round villa holiday destination in the Canary Islands. Only 100 kilometres from the coast of Africa, Lanzarote has a year-round warm climate and a wonderful selection of extraordinary private holiday villas. Less than four hours flying time from most European cities, Lanzarote offers superb beaches, facilities and lots of activities for the entire family. Lanzarote has been designated a World Biosphere Reserve for its miles of glorious beaches and its dramatic, fascinating scenery created by its volcanic past.

Throughout the island, overlooking beaches, in villages and resorts there is an excellent variety of local and international cuisine, much specialising in its wealth of local fish. The island’s small size and reasonable roads, coupled with inexpensive car hire, makes self-drive an attractive option giving visitors complete freedom to tour the island at their leisure. Two sophisticated world class marinas attract the international yachting fraternity and offer superb sea excursions, game fishing and boat charters. Geographically part of North Africa, but benefiting from the cooling effect of the surrounding Atlantic and culturally as well as politically part of Spain, Lanzarote is an established, favourite, year round villa holiday destination, with many families returning year after year and through the generations.

Villa Harmonias is situated in an exclusive, residential area of Puerto del Carmen, where many superb holiday villas are located. It is within walking distance of a large selection of restaurants, bars and supermarkets and approximately 10 minutes to the picturesque, old harbour area. It is a beautiful and relaxing location from which to watch spectacular sunsets and the local fishermen bringing in the catch of the day, while enjoying a class of sangria or a local wine. Many excursions leave from this harbour, including a glass bottom boat. The small, golden sand beach Playa Chica is 2 kilometres from the villa. It also has a volcanic rocky cove, famous for excellent snorkelling, a small restaurant and a dive school. Nearby is the start of 7 kilometres of fabulous, golden beaches, all of which fly the Blue Flag awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and offer sun beds, parasols and a variety of water sports

Puerto del Carmen

Villa Elisa is situated in a fantastic position, right in the heart of Puerto del Carmen overlooking the sea. Restaurants, shops and bars are all within walking distance. There is a small supermarket within a few minutes walk as well as the nearest beach which is located next the San Antonio Hotel. The main beach of Puerto del Carmen equipped with sunbeds and sun umbrellas is just over 1km away. A wide beach front promenade links the main resort of Puerto del Carmen in one direction and the capital of the island, Arrecife in the other. It passes 6 kilometres of glorious beaches, shops, restaurants, bars and resort activities. For the young at heart, Puerto del Carmen, the largest resort in Lanzarote and has the best selection of night life, including a casino. A vast variety of sporting activities and entertainment are available in the resort and nearby, including tennis, go-karting, mini-golf, bowling, quad, bike and Sedgeway rental. The promenade ends by the picturesque old harbour area, which has an excellent selection of bars and restaurants with panoramic sea and mountain views. Most of the beaches in Puerto del Carmen fly the Blue Flag, awarded by the EEC for cleanliness and lack of contamination and offer sun beds, parasols and water sports. Rancho Texas, a small exotic theme park is located approximately a twenty minute walk from the villa. It is set in expansive sub-tropical gardens and houses a variety of exotic animals including buffalos white tigers, pumas and Nile crocodiles. There are daily shows of sea lions, birds of prey and parrots plus pony and canoe rides. It comes to life in the evenings with fun-filled Wild West nights for all the family, with barbecues, cowboys, lasso shows and line dancing. The exclusive marina at Puerto Calero is 10 kilometres from the villa. It is a beautiful setting in which to have a meal or drink in one of the many restaurants, while enjoying the activities of an international marina full of stunningly luxurious, jet-set boats. The villa is ideally located for exploring the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Los Pocillos is approximately 20 kilometres to the resort of Costa Teguise. Here the islands water park, the biggest aquarium in the Canary Islands, a beautiful 18-hole golf course and world class wind surfing schools are located.

"The worsed villa we have ever rented"

The location of the villa is fantastic .We booked a car transfer through Premier holidays thinking he would know where the villa was ,when he dropped us off his words where its somewhere around here ,… More

We at Premier Holidays were very surprised and sorry to hear of this negative feedback for Villa Elisa. The villa, although a little dated inside, is as shown in the photos and has character. It is located in a superb front line position and this is usually the attraction and why our clients choose to book this villa. We have had many repeat clients stay here and the feedback has always been positive.
Regarding the transfer we have reported this comment to the transfer company we use. it was a new driver. This doesn't normally happen.
Cleaners do not always have set times so it is not always possible to warn people in advance. The cleaner for this villa is deaf and dumb and assures us that she was not rude or did not mean to be rude in any way to the clients.
The pool man cleaned the pool twice during this stay which is normal. He usually visits very early in the morning to not disturb people.
Any complaints about the inside of the villa should preferably have been reported to the villa manager or to ourselves. We have been assured that the door handles, wires and lamp have now been fixed.
The villa owner has also asked us to pass on his regret that these clients were not happy with the villa and wishes he had been contacted during their stay so he could have tried to help. He has been renting the villa for many years and this is only his second negative feedback ever received.
