Caleton Blanco is a quiet, small complex of well maintained privately owned apartments, opposite the main Playa Grande beach, near the old town in Puerto del Carmen- convenient for restaurants and bars.
The complex has a large swimming pool and separate children’s pool, amongst landscaped gardens. The apartment has two bedrooms, a large lounge, and a private balcony which looks out over the pool and gardens, towards the sea, and gets the sun most of the day. Both bedrooms also enjoy views over the pool and gardens.

The balcony's private- it's not over-looked from anywhere, but you have great views over the gardens and swimming pools, and to the sea beyond.
There a plenty of sunbeds by the pools- shade umbrellas too.
The apartment is on the first floor- there's a flight of stairs up to the back entrance, and a flight of stairs down to the pool level. There are more stairs down to the front gate from the pool level, so unfortunately this property is not really suitable for people with reduced mobility.

We use a property managment company based in Puerto del Carmen to maintain and clean the apartment- They will meet you at the apartment and provide a local point of contact.
The Lanzarote region


It's simple. We love Lanzarote for the sunshine- a big contrast from the UK where we live.
It's an easy flight due south- about 4 hours, so no jet lag to exhaust you at the beginning or end of the holiday!
There's not much rainfall, and the arid volcanic landscape is very dramatic. There's no high density high rise developments here. The beaches are clean, and the sea front in Puerto del Carmen has been hugely improved in recent years.
There's plenty to do, if you want, but it's mainly a great place to relax.
The Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area
The apartment is ideally located for all Puerto del Carmen has to offer
Restaurants- Within in a 2 minute walk you will be on the beach front where you will find a wide variety of restaurants. Alternatively a 10 minute walk will take you to the old harbour area with restaurants that will give you spectacular views over to the Island of Fuerteventura.
Beach- The main beach is a 2 minute walk, offering sun beds, water sports, showers, toilets and life guards. Alternatively the quiet ‘Girls beach’ is a 5-10 min walk away. This is a cove popular with snorkellers and scuba divers.
Shops- There is a small supermarket conveniently located across road from the apartment. The main shopping centre, The Biosphera, is a 5 minute walk.

Stayed in this apartment for a week in september with my family husband and 2 children aged 2 and 3. Im a cabin crew member who travels with my job and stay in Lovely 5 star hotels and when i go on hoilday i want the same. But i also want my home comforts and this had it all from the sky t.v and dvd to the lovely clean kitchen and washing macchine etc!! The apartment is safe inc the complex the pool area is Lovely lots of sunbeds and safe for my 2 young children to play in the pool whilst my husband and i relaxed. The other guest and owners were so friendly. Its a short 3 min walk to the beach and bars and the old town which had Lovely restaurants. The apartment has a few steps but was not a hassle even with a buggy!!! Would defo return and for anyone looking to stay take it from me who normally used to staying in luxury hotel for a Lovely hoilday with home comforts book this. The ladies who look after the apartment for graham are Lovely and are text message away with any problem or help You need. |

Any extra nights if you're going of more than an exact number of weeks are charged pro-rata- so for example 10 nights for 4 persons would be £542..
Happy to accept payments in Euro as well as sterling.
These rates include towels, cleaning, bed-linen, etc, but do not include airport transfers or air-condtioning (see below)
Booking
If you would like to go ahead and book the apartment this is our procedure:
•Let me know the dates you would like to go, and how many people are staying
•We will save these dates for 3 days giving you a chance to book flights and forward a deposit.
•When we receive your deposit of 100 pounds the apartment is reserved for you.
•Payment can be by cheque, Paypal (incl credit cards) or by internet banking transfer- let me know which is convenient so I can give you details.
•The balance will be payable 8 weeks before you leave.
Air-conditioning. Given the wide variation in how people use air-conditioning we have installed coin-meters so you only pay for what you use. Each of the two units take one or two euro coins- and are set to run for an hour and a half per euro; this pays for the extra electricty used and the routine maintenance.
