Las Palmeras III is situated in a quiet area of central Puerto Del Carmen - this small and friendly complex of only 8 apartments is very convenient for the main beach and also close to Old Town. The complex offers a quiet and relaxed atmosphere around the pool which has been newly refubished and has new steps instead of a ladder now. Check out the pictures!

We are completely enclosed by locked security gate. There is plentiful parking on the hard standing immediately outside the entrance and also on the street. We have an excellent housekeeper who takes care of all the apartments, and is always helpful. The new golf course is open!!!

The Lanzarote region
About 15 minutes drive from Arrecife airport, Puerto del Carmen offers 5km of broad, pale sandy beaches as well as a wide variety of places to eat and drink it is the most popular destination for holidaymakers. Made up of a ‘new’ and ‘old’ town, Puerto del Carmen has no high-rise structures and almost all buildings are white and unpretentious.
In the evenings you can watch the locals taking part in a few games of boules in the old town, which seems to be a nightly occurrence. The old town also offers a great variety of restaurants serving fresh fish, while if you head off into the holiday area you'll find everything from traditional English sports bars to Chinese restaurants.
The Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area
The Old Town for excellent food and cheaper eating out, Fundacion de Cesar Manrique (this was his house in the 60's) for me was just the bees knees, as are his other creations if you are the arty type, eg Jameos del Agua, Mirador del Rio, Caves, and an active Volcano! There's a lot more to do on Lanzarote than you first give it credit for.
Excellent sunny beaches all over the island, and Playa Blanca 18 miles away has the most amazing safe, green and spectacular sea of Flamingo and Playa Dorada beach, totally enclosed by piers.
Watersports are available on most beaches. This can be as relaxed or as busy as you want your holiday to be.
I have been told the new golf course in Puerto del Carmen is open!!!

Flights are direct to Arrecife airport, 15 mins away by car to the apartments.

The car hire companies are all very competitive and if you wish to rent a car i would suggest getting one from the many choices at the airport whilst you are waiting for your suitcases to come onto the carousel, there's not much else to do whilst you're waiting! They all speak very good english and most are really good prices.

Hi Simone Just wanted to say we had a fantastic time at your apartment and found it had everything we needed. Quiet and peaceful yet It was in an ideal location for both old and new town. Got to agree with your recommendation for Maritoni's! Would be happy to recommend or book a return to Las Palmeras. Lisa and Matt Response: Thanks! We had a lovely, relaxing time and were a permanent fixture around the pool for the 10 days we were there! It was just what we were after - the weather was great, The Old Town was frequented every evening (I think we single handedly kept Benitos going!) and we really appreciated being in the peace and quiet surroundings that your apartment lies in. This is the fourth time I have stayed in these apartments. I have stayed in number 1, number 2, number 3 and number 5 and they are all perfect! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. They are a perfect size and have everything you need in them. They are very private and so peaceful! The pool is lovely too! To make them better they are only a 5-10 minute walk from the main strip! Mum and I had a lovely time as always in Lanzarote. We were straight down to the beach to absorb the rays, it was just as I remembered really hot, clear skies and just a slight breeze that meant you could walk around with out suffering heat exhaustion!! I love going to the apartment and am trying to talk Mike in to coming with me again next year as when we went last year it was the perfect holiday.
