This lovely bungalow set within the luxury gated development of Vistas del Mar is situated in an elevated position with superb views of the sea, Fuertaventura and mountains to the south. Whilst being in a quiet and peaceful location, Vistas del Mar is within 10 minutes walk of the beach, bars, restaurants and main shopping areas. The bungalow has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, one en-suite with shower and the other with bath/shower. Leading from the tastefully furnished open plan lounge and dining area there is a well equipped kitchen and laundry. Patio doors lead from the lounge and master bedroom to an 'al fresco' dining terrace, superb at any time of the day. A gate (for child safety) and steps separate the lower terrace where sunny days can be spent by the private electrically heated swimming pool.

The Lanzarote region
Lying in a sub tropical location just off the coast of West Africa, Lanzarote is really the perfect place to find fabulous sunshine in dramatic settings. Volcanic activity over thousands of years has produced unusual sights similar to a lunar landscape, such as the green lagoon of El Golfo. Fire mountain in the Timanfaya National Park is another amazing phenomenon, where if a stick is pushed into the ground it will catch fire immediately due to the heat in the ground. Despite its mass of volcanic rocks, Lanzarote is by no means barren. Some of the volcanic soils are very fertile and the island has its own 'wine region' from which the delicious Malvasia wine is produced. In the north of the island you will find Cueves de los Verdes (the green caves) which are lava tunnels produced by volcanic eruptions. They are one of the longest in the world, stretching 7 km below the sea and visitors can walk 1.5 km down into them.
The Puerto del Carmen / Central Puerto del Carmen area
Puerto Del Carmen is situated on the sheltered south east coast and is the most popular resort on the island. The 6 km stretch of coastline includes some of the best beaches on Lanzarote. It rarely feels the pressure of being over-crowded. Puerto Del Camen is particularly well equipped with marine activities, including scuba diving, deep sea fishing and wind surfing. The coastal promenade houses endless bars, wonderful restaurants, shops and nighclubs. It truly is a resort for everyone.

Irene and I have just returned from 9 brilliant days (27th June-11th July) in Puerto Del Carmen but what made it so special was Casa Sara, we have stayed in a few villas over the years but yours was second to none, the standard exceeded our expectations, the furnishings and pool were amazing as was the views, the welcome pack most useful, we would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Sara to friends and will certainly be booking again for our self, Elaine, Linda and Nathan were all very friendly and helpful.
