About the home

This delightful villa is located in a quiet and peaceful cul de sac in the exclusive residential area of Los Mojones. The very private villa affords breathtaking views across the sea to Fuerteventura and the surrounding mountains.

The villa is comfortably furnished in a rustic style with extensive open and covered terraces, heated swimming pool, hot tub and a sunken garden. The lava rock walls and trailing hibiscus shrubs provide a picturesque setting in which to relax and soak up the wonderful views. Perfectly located, the old town harbour of Puerto del Carmen with fish restaurants, bars and shops are within easy walking distance and the long sandy beaches of Puerto del Carmen's new town can be easily reached. Enter the villa into a rustic entrance hall with feature wooden beamed apex ceiling and leading to very large and fully equipped kitchen.

The airconditioned lounge/dining room is very spacious with comfortable sofas and leather easy chair, wooden antique style dresser and coffee table. Patio doors lead out to the sun terrace and pool. The en suite master bedroom is also airconditioned and has patio doors leading to sun terrace and pool. There are 2 twin bedrooms, one airconditioned with door opening onto sun terrace and pool, and a family bathroom. Outside, the pool has Roman style steps, swim jet machine and a jacuzzi. The separate hot tub house with doors opening out to the pool has superb mountain views.

There is a covered terrace area with table tennis table and a further area for relaxing, covered by a wooden pergola with wicker chairs and coffee table. This leads to a covered built in BBQ area ideal for al fresco dining and a good vantage point from which to enjoy the fantastic views this Lanzarote villa has to offer.

The Lanzarote region

Lanzarote lies about 95 Km off the west coast of Africa and 1100 Km south west of the Spanish peninsula, and is the most unusual of the Canarian Islands. This position ensures more days of sunshine and fewer days of rain than the other Canarian islands, and year round high temperatures. In the summer, temperatures can be in the 90's, although cooling breezes make it much more pleasant and comfortable in comparison to the Mediterranean , whilst temperature rarely fall below 70 in the winter.

Ideal for sunbathing and sport during the day and pleasant in the evenings for relaxing over a leisurely meal or drink at one of the many bars and restaurants.

The Puerto del Carmen / Los Mojones area

Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote´s main tourist resort, offers over 6 km. of golden sandy beaches from Playa Fariones to Playa Grande to Playa Matagorda. Due to the fantastic climate and clean waters all kind of sports are available year round: windsurfing, scuba diving, sport fishing. In addition to its beautiful coastline, a galore of shops and shopping centres, restaurants, bars and entertainment halls, offers all sorts of possibilities for good buys and leisure activities.

At night Puerto del Carmen is the ideal place to go for a stroll along the promenade taking in the sights and sounds, carried on the balmy sea air. For the young and energetic this resort is a lively hotspot with a buzzing nightlife.
