About the home
Located in the select area of Taurito Mogan, this is a private and secure complex, only five minutes away (by taxi or bus) from the resort of Puerto Mogan; with its many upmarket restaurants and bars on the harbour front. Alternatively, only fifteen minutes away (by bus/taxi) to the more lively resort of Puerto Rico.
Taurito itself is a peacefull retreat and has a supermarket, various bars and an excellent lido complex. There is also an internet cafe, bowling, mini-golf, a few boutiques. The apartment block is serviced with a lift to all floors, and there are two very large terraces to the apartment, one sunny and the other shady; and being the penthouse both are very private. This modern apartment consists of a large lounge with double sofa bed, tv, dvd player and stereo system, fully fitted kitchen bathroom with shower, full sized bath, bidet and marble vanity unit, one double bedroom with twin beds, a fitted wardrobe, and a safe.

There is an outdoor gym, tennis courts, heli pad in the resort below; also crazy golf and many activites for children including ten pin bowling, internet access etc. There is free, live, open air entertainment in the bay on an evening.

Further details
This is a private complex so there is no bar or restaurant on site; however these are only a five minutes stroll away - and you are always welcome to use the bars and restaurants of neighbouring hotels if you don't fancy self-catering one evening. There is a very gentle slope to the resort itself, also one small set of stairs to the apartment; so perhaps this delightful apartment may be not suitable for those who have trouble walking. Please be assured it is only a few steps, and there is a lift to carry one the majority of the way!
Conditions
No smoking apart from on the terraces outdoors.
Unfortunately, we do not rent to groups of teenagers.
The Gran Canaria region
All year sunshine and one of the best all year round climates in Europe. Taurito is located on the Southwest coast and is an elegant purpose-built resort with an air of refinement which will suit those looking for a tranquil break.
There is scuba diving, Gran Canaria is very popular with cyclists, and it is very close to the golf course.
The Puerto de Mogan / Taurito area
There is a very attractive lido with numerous pools and slides complete with bridges and bars.
Puerto Mogan is only five mins away by taxi or bus (both frequent and reasonably priced on this Spanish island), a large variety of bars and restaurants patronised by both tourists and locals , submarine rides, a water taxi to Puerto Rico, a Friday street market.
