Comfortable 2bed. 2 bath apt. decorated to a very high standard in the Spanish town of Puerto De Mazarron. The two bedrooms are separate from lounge which creates a quiet atmosphere for the little ones to sleep!Opposite a beautiful safe, sandy beach where you can swim in the warm waters of the med. Mix of Spanish and European cuisine where you can eat wonderful fresh food at a fraction of the cost we usually pay! Regular live music and kareoke bars as well as quieter bars where you can relax and chat while the sun goes down. Wonderful selection of places to eat and drink along the paeso with prices to suit all budgets. Golf available locally at Camposol ,La Manga and at Hacienda Del Alamo, one of the top golf courses in Spain, which is a 20 min. drive away. Excellent bars and restaurants in Puerto De Mazarron, Isla Plana and Bolnuevo. Funfair in The Port during the summer months. New marina and promenade for that early morning stroll or late night romantic walk. Close to bus station where there is a very regular service to Carthagena, Totana and Murcia. During peak season, a nightly tourist train runs between Puerto De Mazarron and Bolnuevo. You can jump on or off anywhere in between at a price of €3 or simply take the train to Bolnuevo for several hours and get a cheap ride home. It's great fun!!! Private parking underground.Satellite T.V. which means you can keep in touch with happenings at home or simply stay in and watch a movie.The city of Cartagena is a 25 min. bus ride away (6/8euro return).There you will find wonderful shopping, beautiful architecture and naval history. You might even spot one of the cruise liners that dock there.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region

Mazarron sits in a bay overlooking the Mediterranean with a 35km. coastline. There are two town centres Puerto de Mazarron and Mazarron. The seaboard in this area provides an optimum environment during your holiday for swimming or for long strolls along the shore..This is a paradise for walkers with the most beautiful scenery to enjoy.It is mainly flat terrain and a short stroll from the apartment will take you to the most beautiful unspoilt coves where you can swim in the clear aqua-marine waters. Tourists can also embark on bicycle and horse riding routes which will bring them inland to enjoy the ruggedness and history of this area of Spain.Murcia has a wonderful animal and water park which can be enjoyed by young and old. Visitors to this area can enjoy sun one day and can go skiing in the 'Sierra Nevada' the next.There are many good golf courses within an easy drive of Puerto.Because this is the driest hottest corner of Spain, the 'Mini Hollywood' wild west theme park , where many spaghetti westerns starring Clint Eastwood were made, is just over an hours drive away. Carthagena, 45 mins. away is definitely worth a visit. Large cruise liners regularly dock here and visitors can tour the old roman amphitheatre walls or ascend in a panoramic lift that affords views over the city. Carthagena has a huge variety of shops with a new out of town shopping mall called 'Mediterrania'.

Puerto De Mazarron area

A 5 min. drive or 20 min. walk will take you to Bolnuevo. As well as having one of the most unspoilt and beautiful beaches it also boasts one of the most peculiar of all the landscapes in the region.Here, wind and water together have shaped strange forms modelling them to form a sort of 'haunted city'. Well worth a visit.
This is a mecca for water sports. Visitors can take part in diving,sailing, rowing, water-skiing and paragliding.With the advantage of the climate and it's 300 days of sunshine each year and a weather of average temp. 20 degrees c.,Mazarron offers the holiday maker a wonderful time.
For the children, our complex has a large pool and a small kiddies pool or alternatively directly across the road from the apartment is a lovely sandy beach - ideal for the kids.Aqua Natura, a water park with 10 slides, including a kamikaze ride, is located off the cartagena- Murcia motorway.Here you will also find a 'lazy river' where you can relax and let the water take you along. Also self-service restaurant and picnic areas. If you like walking or cycling this is the place for you.

How to get there

Lots of budget airlines from the U.K., Ireland and other European countries e.g. Ryanair, Aer Lingus and Easyjet fly into Murcia( San Javier) 45 mins., Alicante and Almeria ( 90 mins drive). A new airport is due to open at Corvera ( 30 mins drive) in 2010. This is an area of Spain that is still unspoilt where you will enjoy peace and quiet . It is a haven of tranquility with long sandy beaches, restaurants where you can eat and drink at very reasonable prices and local people who are extremely welcoming.

We can comfortably cater for six people but if necessary we have two double sofabeds in the lounge which can be converted into two extra beds. We also have a folding baby cot.There is air conditioning and heating and we have just installed satellite T.V. so anyone on a long stay can keep in touch with news at home or simply have the availability of english speaking T.V.stations and movies.The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and there is plenty of cutlery and crockery.We have the advantage of an extra bathroom so getting ready to go out in the evening will take half the time. There is a supply of beach toys for the kids.You will find a supply of d.v.d,s and books for your enjoyment.We will provide a welcome pack on your arrival if required, to start you off on your stress free holiday.

Large well maintained pool with wooden surround and kiddies pool. Nice seating area in the shade of pergola for those really hot days. Convenient sandy beach and safe areas where you can walk and cycle.A variety of restaurants offering a wide range of meat and fish dishes at very affordable prices. Short walk to supermarket, post-office and pharmacy. Car parking facilities outside the apartment and also private parking underground.

Meet and greet service by English speaking people. These people are also available if there are any queries or problems. Cleaning costs: €50 for group of 4 people. €10 per person extra. Must be paid at time of booking.
During peak times when there is an immediate follow-on booking we would ask guests to check out by 14.00 on day of departure to allow cleaners to prepare for next guests.If this is not possible please let us know at time of booking.
