This second floor apartment has been recently refurbished and completely upgraded to provide good quality accommodation within a 5 minute walk of the beach in Puerto de Mazarrón.
The apartment has private off road parking via a gated forecourt, and entrance at the rear of the block of flats. Access is via stairs, there is no lift.
The apartment has a bright and spacious living area, with comfortable seating, TV , dining table for 4 persons and French windows off the lounge to the balcony. The lower balcony has views accross El Alcolar to the sea.
There is a galley kitchen with microwave, oven and hob, fridge freezer and small electrical appliances. The rear door of the kitchen leads to a utility terrace, with the water heater, washing machine and cleaning area.
There are 2 bedrooms, both with wardrobes, and the main bedroom has a double bed and large windows, plus a ceiling fan to cool you as you sleep. The second bedroom has twin beds and also has a ceiling fan. There is a bathroom with bath and shower over, WC and bidet.
The hidden gem of the apartment is the large upper solarium, perfect for sunbathing in privacy or the occasional BBQ. The elevated terrace is accessed internally via stairs, and has stunning views over the Bay of Mazarrón. There are chairs and a patio set here for guests to use.
The apartment has airconditioning, guests pay separately for electricity via a card meter, which can be bought off the local agent, and this means that you can choose to run the aircon as much or as little as you like. The system also heats the apartment, making it an ideal year round rental.
The nearest beach is just a 5 minute walk away, and here you will find the "paseo" or promenade with a wealth of bars, cafés and restaurants to discover. A longer 15 minute walk brings you to the lovely new marina. The apartment is well placed for all local amenities.
The resort of Puerto de Mazarrón is a popular family holiday destination due to the wonderful sandy beaches, and there are a wide variety of water sports in the area.
Puerto de Mazarrón offers an ideal base from which to explore the region, and the larger cities of Murcia and Cartagena, with retail parks, cinemas and bowling are both within 45 minutes drive. The lovely Sierra Espuñas, a natural park with stunning scenery, is around 30 minutes away, and here you will find quad biking, kayaking, mountain biking, walking and many other activities.
Pets may be permitted with the owners prior agreement only and smoking is allowed on the balcony and solarium.
