About the home

Las Brisas is a newly completed development situated on a hill overlooking the town of Puerto de Mazzaron. This lovely penthouse is on the top (3rd) floor, and benefits from stunning views of the mountain ranges that surround the bay of Mazarron. The beach, shops, bars and restaurants are all within a 10-minute walk. The penthouse is furnished in a comfortable, contemporary style and is spacious, light and airy; there is an underground car park space to keep your car cool and a lift to take you to the door of the penthouse.

This is a perfect place to either spend the week relaxing, or from which to explore the beautiful local area.There are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, a bathroom, a lounge/dining room and a kitchen. In the underground parking there is an allocated space.For wonderful summer living, there is a balcony accessed from the living room and double bedroom, plus a fantastic 56sqm private roof terrace, accessed from the living room; this has sea and mountain views, as well as sun loungers for relaxing the day away.

The Apartment block also has a large shared pool, with a special divided shallow area for younger children. There are changing rooms, showers and toilets beside the pool, as well as plenty of space for lounging.

The Costa Calida region

Cartegena, Murcia and the Sierra Espugna national park are all within easy reach (30-50 minutes driving). Cartegena is an ancient coastal city, with beautiful buildings, some dating back to phoenician times.

Murcia is also an attractive city with a sense of its Moorish heritage, as well as modern shopping and dining facilities. Th Sierra Espugna National Park is perfect for walking, cycling or just driving with wonderful views.

The Puerto De Mazarron area

Mazarron bay is enclosed by the mountain ranges of Sierras Moreras, Almenara, Algorobo, Lo Alto, Muela and slightly further to the North, Sierra Espuña. This gives Mazarron Bay a "microclimate" which invariably results in better weather than the rest of Spain. Puerto de Mazarron boasts more than 300 days of sunshine every year. The coastline of Puerto has many kilometres of fine sandy beaches and safe bathing.

For keen walkers, there are fantastic hills and mountains within a short driving distance. We have seen people surf there, so that's a possibility, along with diving and snorkeling- there's a small reef in the bay. Water sports, sailing and bike hire is available locally.

There is a museum, as well as other sites of cultural and historical interest. A particularly good day out is a trip to the old naval installations at Cabo Tinoso. This mountain fort has spectacular views, and fascinating architecture.

Thank you so much for renting out your gorgeous apartment to us once again - M and I had a fantastic time doing everything we loved best - sunbathing, eating and drinking.

We had a lovely 2 week stay at Easter 09. The flat is great for a family of 4 and as we hired a car we were really able to make the most of visiting the area. We mostly had the beaches to ourselves and the kids loved playing on the roof terrace at the flat. We cooked most nights and enjoyed watching the sunsets over the hills from the balcony.

nos belles vacances,
bien agence,tres comfortable,cet appartement est aussi bien aere nous n'avons pas eu tres chaud,la terrasse solarium est tres grande il y a un magasin alimentaire a 5mns tres pratique (lidl), piscine surveillee et tres propre nous avons passe un tres agreable sejour!! la plage est a 10 mns en voiture je recommande ce logement a tous !! en plus la proprietaire est tres conciencieuse et tres serieuse !!que du bonheur...
