About the home

This self-contained 3 bed modern apartment also benefits from extra privacy & space, with an overall size of 90 square metres. The 2 levels are connected by internal stairs (which are self-contained within the apartment), making a very large 3 bed, 2 bathroom, 2 lounge, 1 kitchen/dining area apartment. It is fully equipped, and has partial air conditioning & heating.

Sleeps up to 10 - 2 x double rooms, 1 x twin room, & 2 x single beds in 2nd lounge. There is also a pull-out double sofa bed in the main lounge that could sleep 2 people if needed.

The spacious lounge has patio doors leading to the sun terrace with additional table & chairs for relaxing with a cool drink. There is also a TV with English mainstream & Spanish channels, plus a DVD player, iPOD docking station & radio.

The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, microwave, dish-washer, washing machine, toaster, pots, pans, crockery & cutlery etc. plus table & chairs for dining.

The second lounge area and kitchenette with it's kettle & toaster, is perfect for Teenagers to 'hang out', or for couples to do their own thing.

We provide sun loungers & pool chairs for your use, which are kept in a private, secure locker room next to the pool area. We also have 4 adult mountain bikes that are provided for your use during your stay if required. These are great for getting out & about in the area & ideal for exploring! They are free to use & come with 2 x crash helmets & locks.

So, the choice is yours of how you use this flexible, spacious apartment - either as 1 large family holiday home, or couples & friends will like the privacy of the 2 levels, whilst still being able to spend time together.

The property has a massive communal swimming pool (25metres) with a separate children's section, and is the largest in the area. There is a lifeguard on duty during July & August, so your little ones will be safe at all times.

We provide sun loungers & pool chairs for your use, which are kept in a private, secure locker room next to the pool area. The property is in a gated environment making it safe, secure & only accessible to guests & residents.

The Costa Calida region

The Costa Calida is one of Spain´s best places to holiday, having a gentle warm winter and long hot summer days.

Cartagena, a historic city with beautiful architecture, a pedestrianised upmarket shopping area, a variety of museums and a large port with a very pleasant seafront, is just 30 minutes away by car.

The ancient city of Murcia is the capital of the region. It is easy to get to by train or road and has a historical centre with a cathedral, casino, churches and lots of interesting architecture, cafes, tapas bars and some quality restaurants.

Whilst in the area, a visit to the beautiful Sierra Espuna National Park, to the north of Mazarron, through Totana or Alhama is a must. The drive and views are spectacular. On the journey and in the park there are local Spanish bars and restaurants serving good quality, reasonably priced food, or you can take your own food to cook on the outdoor barbecues in the designated picnic areas. The park has a visitor centre and interesting signposted walks with amazing views

The Puerto De Mazarron / Cuatro Plumas area

The coastal areas of Mazarron and Puerto de Mazarron boast some of the finest beaches in Spain and the untouched nature of some of the coastline and countryside appeals to those who seek a tranquil environment for their holidays.

Puerto de Mazarron has a range of restaurants, tapas bars, evening entertainment bars, cultural activities including an open air summer cinema, indoor and outdoor sports facilities including ten pin bowling, sports hall, kart track, gymnasiums etc. plus nearby national parks, and museums.

The local council regularly provides free beach concerts and has set up theme beaches to provide a variety of free sports and relaxation facilities for all ages - even designated nudist beaches.

In summer, Puerto de Mazarron has a good choice of bars, inlcuding an open-air out of town night club which stays open until after sunrise.

Puerto de Mazarron is one of the most important tourist centres for marine and sub-aquatic activities in Spain. The frequency of prevailing winds throughout the year in the Bay of Mazarron means sailing instruction and practice can be undertaken at any time of the year. The clear waters and rich flora and fauna offer the enthusiast some highly interesting dives.

We are located less than 1 hour from San Javier (Murcia) airport, & approximately 90 minutes from Alicante, where many major airlines fly to e.g. Ryanair, Easyjet, Jet2com, Thomson.

Car hire is readily available from both airports, or we can arrange private transfers at a very competitive price. We will happily provide maps & driving directions if required.
