About the home

The accommodation is all on one level. It is situated on a quiet and private complex surrounded by beds of plants and trees. The 2 bedroomed bungalow has its own private terrace and easy access to the 2 swimming pools. Stairs lead up to a roof top terrace which is perfect for soaking up the glorious Canarian sun and which has views out to sea and across to Fuerventura.

Beautifully furnished to a very high standard (well above the average holiday let!) this well presented, easy access bungalow has everything you could need for a great holiday.
The bathroom has been totally revamped, and not boasts a generous walk in shower, toilet , new hand basin set in a vanity unit with cupboard space below and a large mirror illuminated overhead.
ALSO NEW a 32" flat screen television with access to a wide selection of channels, and NEW internet/wifi connection. ALL this at
no extra charge!!

The large main bedroom has 2 single beds. These can be made into a double bed upon request.
There is a floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobe with plenty of hanging space, shelves and a safe. A hairdryer is also provided.
A glass door from here leads to the back terrace with a cupboard housing the washing machine and plenty of drying space.

The second bedroom also has a floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobe with hanging space, shelves and a hairdryer. It has one single bed with room for another single if required.

NEW !! The bathroom has been totally revamped!!! There is now a luxury walk in shower, a new handbasin set in a vanity cupboard with a large illuminated mirror above, toilet. All wall and floor tiles have been replaced.

The terrace glass doors open into a large, light and airy sitting/dining. Beautifully furnished with a dining table and chairs, sideboard. Flat screen TV,satellite access to all channels DVD, and CD/Tape Radio.Internet and Wi-fi connection. A large settee, two arm chairs and a glass coffee table. From this room door leads into a separate kitchen with a tall window opening onto the terrace. It is fully fitted with plenty of cupboards and work surfaces. There is a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a ceramic hob, oven and grill with a extractor fan above. Also a microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board.

Further details outdoors:
The front terrace overlooks the main pool and the children's pool. The terrace is large enough to offer you privacy and seclusion for sunbathing on one of four sun lounger or eating al fresco at the outside table. Stairs from the ground floor terrace lead to the roof terrace. From the front terrace a walkway takes you to the main swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers and a pool side shower. To one side is the children's pool. So has to make your stay more enjoyable and to lessen the load in your suitcases provided are Pool side Towels! All around the complex are areas for you to sit and enjoy the sunshine.
There is also a Children's Play Area with seating around so you can sit and watch your children play.

The Lanzarote region

Lying only sixty miles off the coast of North Africa, Lanzarote has a unique and spectacular landscape created by a series of volcanic eruptions in the late 18th century. Daytime temperatures, even in January or February are normally around 22 deg c, and the sun shines for an average of 8 hrs a day making the island an ideal place to stay any time of year. There is always a light breeze to cool the summer heat and the night time air is cool but rarely cold!

Sunbathing, swimming and watersports are all excellent, the northern shores are good for surfing, the waves being especially good at La Santa.

The Puerto Calero / Marina Area area

A ten minute stroll takes you to the much sort after resort of Puerto Calero. A beautiful private and secluded marina harbouring all sizes of yachts and boats. Some of which are available for hire or offering excursions such as sailing, jet skiing, deep sea fishing and diving. There are also trips on the catamaran taking you out for a swim in the sea and a ride on a jet ski before enjoying a buffet on board. There is even a real submarine to take a dive in! There is a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants offering everything from Italian cuisine to Chinese, local Canarian dishes, freshly caught fish, roasts, barbecues, pizzas right up to a restaurant offering you a gastronomic experience, all overlooking the waterfront. So much to choose from! A small but well stocked supermarket opens seven days a week from 8am to 8pm, and there is a variety of other shops offering you all your holiday needs.
.A regular bus service to anywhere in the island, a waterbus to Puerto del Carmen and a taxi rank. With these facilities a car is not essential but to fully appreciate the attractions on the Island car hire is recommended. Car hire is available at the marina.

*** Fundacion Cesar Manrique ***
Home of the world renowned architect, abstract artist and sculptor. It is due to his dedication that Lanzarote remains largely free of the worst excesses of development. His aim was to promote architecture that was in harmony with the natural environment and his success can be seen in his projects all over the island. The Fundacion houses a fine collection of contempary art, including work by Manrique. The house itself is an absolute must to visit even if contempary art is not your 'thing'!

*** La Heria ***
Wine growing region with several vineyards offering opportunities to look around and to taste the wines produced.

*** Tequise ***
Used to be the capital of Lanzarote. Every Sunday morning a large local market takes over most of the town.

*** Papagayo Beaches ***
A string of six coves of pale gold sand in a sheltered sea corner, safe bathing, reached by tracks from Playa Blanca.

*** Timanfaya National Park ***
200 sq.km. of lava fields and volcanoes all formed during the eruptions of 1730-36. An absolute must for any first timer to Lanzarote!

*** Golf at Costa Tesquise ***
18 holes lovingly watered and bunkers of black sand.

*** Go Karting ***
South of San Bartolome

*** Horse Riding ***
at Lanzarote a Caballo, between Macher and Uga also offers Camel rides.

*** Nightlife ***
Look no further than Puerto del Carmen. 5km from Casa Zoe. Bars, discos, nightclubs, cafes, restaurants and shops fill the 6km. seafront road.
Also good for the daytime with the long, clean, sandy beach offering pedallos, jet skis, parachute sailing, beachside bars and restaurants.

There is no end to the attractions on Lanzarote. Seeing is believing. There really is something for everybody regardless of age, gender or interests.

“Immaculate, good facilities and well positioned” Casa Zoe was a home from home throughout our week stay in December 2011. Having travelled with a 16month old, the accommodation was faultlessly clean, and offered all the facilities we needed to have a great family holiday. I would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Zoe for either a short or longer stay. The apartment is ideally located in the Marina complex, with only a 10-15min stroll to the shops, restaurants and supermarket.
