About the home

The exclusive Marina Azul Complex is located a short stroll from the marina of Puerto Calero. Our three bedroom, two bathroom linked villa offers a furnished patio to the the front and a garden to the rear, enjoying panoramic views to the volcanic mountain ranges; a perfect place for your alfresco dining. In addition the villa has a roof terrace which is a suntrap for those looking to perfect their holiday tan, or just to take in the views of the Atlantic Ocean. Furnished to a high standard, the villa is fully equipped to make your stay truly a home from home experience.

The Complex has two freshwater pools, one large and one suitable for paddling.


The complex has a play area of swings and see-saw for young children.

The marina of Puerto Calero is a 10 minute stroll, where you can wander the promenade and sample the local delights of Lanzarote in its very good quality but affordable restaurants, bars and cafes, or perhaps visit the local shops for that all important keepsake to take home.

Kitchen: Fully filled kitchen with dishwasher. Washing Machine is situated outside by the door
leading out to the rear garden.

Bathroom 1: Bath, Shower, Toilet, Bidet and Large Vanity Mirror.

Bedroom 1 & 2: Twin bedded rooms each with ample storage.

Bedroom 3: Master bedroom with double bed, there is also a security safe and hairdryer for your
(first floor) use. Door leading out onto the roof terrace.

Extras: Highchairs and Cots can be arranged at an extra charge, payable locally. There are free-
standing fans in the villa.

The villa provides everything you should need for your self-catering holiday. Linen and
bath towels are provided and changed once a week by maid service. Please note that
you will need to bring beach and pool towels.

The ground floor of the villa and complex paths are suitable for both wheelchair and
pushchair access

The Lanzarote region

The island of Lanzarote which is in the Canaries enjoy a sub tropical climate, with year round sunshine. The average temperatures are around 22°c during the winter months, with 8 hours of sunshine. The summer can get even warmer for those who like it hot.

Beaches/coast

Lanzarote has many splendid beaches and the nearest sandy beach is in the popular resort of Puerto Del Carmen, which is approximately 2km away. For the more adventurous, surfing, scuba diving, water skiing and wind surfing are very popular on the island.

Nightlife

You will find a lively nightlife in the nearby Puerto Del Carmen where you can eat, drink and dance the night away.

Trips and Excursions

Catamaran, sea fishing and jet skiing are but a few trips you can book at the marina in Puerto Calero.

A trip to the lava fields and volcanoes gives an interesting insight to the islands history.

The Puerto Calero / Marina Azul Complex area

National Park of Timanfaya

The island of Lanzarote volcanic eruptions are recorded back to the 18th and 19th centuries. The last recorded eruption was in 1824, when many of the islands towns and villages were buried under lava and ashes. The National Park of Timanfaya gives a good example of the rough volcanic landscape.

Ruta De Los Volcanes

This is the centre of the volcanic region. Here you can experience real volcanic phenomena.The ground is hot - only six meters down the earth has a temperature of 400°C.

El Golfo

El Golfo is a volcanic crater half submerged by the sea, with half of the crater towering over the black beach and green lagoon, whose water enters underground from the sea. There is also a village here with good fish restaurants.

Mirador Del Rio

Mirador Del Rio is a lookout point on the island's north cape. The former artillery post sits 479 meters above sea level. A perfect place to enjoy the landscape of Lanzarote and the view across to the island of La Graciosa.

Papagayo

About four kilometers from the centre of Playa Blanca there is a series of sandy bays around the Punta De Papagayo, Lanzarote's southernmost tip. These are the most beautiful beaches on Lanzarote, sloping down gently into crystal clear waters, particularly suitable for children.
