Sitting in peaceful sub-tropical gardens with swimming pools, Andalucia del Mar is right on the beach and just a few minutes easy walk to the glamorous Marina of Puerto Banus. This superb apartment benefits from air conditioning, three large terraces which all enjoy spectacular sea and mountain views. There is a large sitting/dining room with flat screen TV, Sky, DVD and an extensive range of board games and books are also available. There are two comfortable bedrooms, master with terrace, two bathrooms (one en-suite), and a fully equipped modern kitchen.
An excellent Spa ,health and beauty centre including gym and indoor pool is 100 metres away. daily /weekly membership available. A pharmacy and convenience store for morning papers, fresh bread etc are all within walking distance. This apartment is ideally located for those looking for a day on the beach, a little shopping perhaps, then a leisurely meal on the Port or one of the terraces. For Golfers there are over 30 courses available on the Coast, the nearest being a 5 min car journey away.
Whilst a car is not essential in this location, the cost of an airport taxi transfer, roughly equates to one weeks car hire.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
It all started In 1946 when Prince Alfonso Von Hohenlohe paid a visit to Marbella and fell in love with the area and its people, in 1950 the Marbella Club opened and the story began. Marbella is located in Andalucia which is Spain's most southerly region and for those interested in culture it has a rich and fascinating past. The historic medina cities of Granada, Seville and Jerez are only a three hour drive away. Closer to Marbella, Malaga the home of Picasso is an easy one hour drive East and Westward lies the Old rock of Gibraltar, that little piece of Empire still sitting as a thorn in Spain's side! The Costa del Sol is famous for its sun and warm weather, Marbella in particular enjoys a unique micro -climate which means that with a little luck you should be able to enjoy Christmas lunch on the beach. Sept - May are the ideal months for playing Golf as a cooling breeze rises from the Mediterranean Sea. During the Winter there is also excellent Skiing to be enjoyed in the Sierra Nevadas just 3 hours drive away. For those wishing to immerse deeper into the Spanish culture then Ronda is the home of Bull Fighting , with the oldest Bullring in Spain. Fights are also regularly staged in Marbella on Sunday evenings.
Puerto Banus / Andalucia del Mar area
Andalucia del Mar is ideally situated to enjoy all the attractions of Puerto Banus and Marbella.
Puerto Banus is home to the Jet Set promenading on Millionaires Row (Mega yacht), enjoying cocktails at Salduba and Sinatra bar, a meal at one of the Portside restaurants or a spot of window shopping in one of the designer boutiques.
Marbella, 5 km along the coast is a calmer affair and the Old Town is the place to head in the evening, take a cool drink in the fragrant Orange Square before dining in one of the many local restaurants.
If you like Markets then there are a number to choose from: Saturday Market at Puerto Banus Bull ring (10 Mins walk), Monday Market in Marbella and Thursday Market in San Pedro.

BY AIR - from UK - Flights to Malaga or Gibraltar Airport from most UK destinations. British Airways, Monarch, Easyjet, Ryanair and jet2.com fly daily. From other destinations please check available carriers. BY RAIL - The new highspeed rail network makes the journey from London to Malaga viable. BY ROAD - Ferries from Plymouth and Portsmouth directect to Santander then approximately a 12 hour drive South via Madrid. CAR HIRE - We recommend Holiday Autos, Solmar and Goldcar Hire all of which are on Airport.

Henry & Ann - During our stay at Apt 506 in November We played golf every day in glorious sunshine and in the evening whilst I took off to Sinatra Bar Ann really enjoyed her shopping at Court Ingles and to my horror discovered Jimmy Choo on the Port, happy times.
