Home description

Lovely, idyllic apartment within a secure gated complex in the heart of the renowned Puerto Banus marina & only 50 metres from "Plaza Beach" and a 5 - 10 minute walk to the Ocean Beach Club.

It is quiet and peaceful, yet ideally located within the lively Puerto Banus with its great choice of excellent restaurants, cafés, bars and designer boutiques, as well as being conveniently close to the beaches, and just a 5 minute walk from the Corte Ingles department store where food, designer clothes, toiletries etc are available to buy at your convenience.

The flat also provides you with the opportunity of simply relaxing on the sunny terrace overlooking the beautiful tropical gardens or the choice of lazing in any of the 4 swimming pools exclusively for the use of guests at the complex. On a more active note, there is a paddle tennis court in the complex free to use by all our guests as well as several prestigious golf courses merely 10 minutes away.

You will be welcomed on arrival by our management team with the keys and provided with a welcome pack containing information about the area, restaurants etc as well as a contact number to call in case of an emergency. There is a telephone in the apartment for incoming calls.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

Puerto Banus, Marbella is on the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain. Costa del Sol boasts many great beaches as well as 320 sunny days a year.

Places of interest to do cultural trips include:
Ronda- A picturesque town in the mountains which holds the oldest bull ring in Spain and offers fantastic views. (45 mins drive)
Tarifa - A bohemian town with stunning beaches and a mecca for kitesurfing. (45 mins drive)
Gibraltar- Visit the caves, the Rock and monkeys who dwell there or go tax-free shopping (1 hour drive).
Seville - The Andalusian capital and literally a living museum. Visits not recommended in the summer.
Granada- A historic city which houses the famous Alhambra, the 8th wonder of the world. (2 hrs drive)
Tangier in Morocco- A more exotic location with its medina and local bazaars (total 1 hr drive and 45 mins by ferry)

You can also visit any of the nearby white Andalusian villages in the mountain such as Istán, Ojen, Mijas Pueblo and Casares. If interested in art, you can go to see the Picasso museum and others in the city of Málaga (45 mins drive).

For children there is plenty to do, with Selwo animal park by Estepona (15 minutes drive), Water World at Fuengirola (25 mins drive) and Tivoli World by Benalmadena (35 mins drive). They can also try go karting and water-skiing close by.


Puerto Banus / Puerto Banus Centre area

Puerto Banus is famed for its glitz and glamour. A hot spot for people-watching whilst having a drink at sunset, shopping in its many designer boutiques, enjoying meals in one of the many top class restaurants catering for all tastes, or simply taking a stroll to see the luxury yachts and cars on display. At night there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from for unforgettable nights out.

The Golf Valley is only a 5 minute drive away, where there are a variety of golf courses including the famous La Quinta Golf. The charming Old Town in the centre of Marbella, with its tapas bars in and around the quaint Orange Square, is a 10 minute drive or alternatively you can go for a leisurely walk to there along the beach promenade from Puerto Banus which takes around 40 - 50 minutes.

It is just a 5 - 10 minute walk from the apartment to the exclusive Ocean Beach Club or you can also charter a boat to arrive in style at other beach clubs such as Nikki Beach and Puro Beach, and then later cruise back out to sea and go dolphin watching. There are a variety of gyms and health spas to choose from close by for a fitness or pampering session.

A bazaar/market is held in Puerto Banus and Nueva Andalucia every Saturday where there are plenty of leather goods, ceramic ware and other local items for sale at bargain prices.

There are many low cost airlines that fly from all over Europe to either Malaga airport (45 mins drive) or Gibraltar (1 hr drive) such as www.easyjet.com and www.monarchairlines.com as well as regular airlines.

To get to Jardines del Puerto complex in Puerto Banus from Malaga airport there is a taxi service (around 75 €), bus service (4 €), or we could also arrange a pick up service. There are several car hire companies to choose from if you wish to rent a car (we would provide directions on how to get to the property).

The Master bedroom with en suite bathroom has a double bed, large built in wardrobes, TV and private balcony overlooking garden. The 1st guest bedroom has twin beds, large built in wardrobe and terrace overlooking gardens. The 2nd guest bedroom has two small double beds and built in wardrobe. The living room has multi-language TV (with BBC News & Eurosport) and a DVD player (with a selection of DVDs), and a dining table with 6 chairs though there are also additional chairs to use.

There are marble floors throughout and air conditioning. The apartment is on the 3rd floor to which it has a lift. There is a telephone for incoming calls.

Further details outdoors:
The terrace is furnished with table and chairs and additional seating to enjoy garden views. No smoking except on the terrace.

The complex is gated and there is 24 hour security. It has 3 large swimming pools and a children's pool in the tropical gardens as well as a paddle tennis court which is free to use by the guests.

There is a secure, underground parking for those who wish to rent a car and explore further a field although the central location of this apartment rarely has any need for transport. There is also a taxi stand on the doorstep.

25% deposit required to secure the booking and remaining balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.

A security/damage deposit of £200 or 200 € required on arrival which will be returned when keys are handed in at departure from the apartment (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
