Home description
The property enjoys the benefit of 2 sun terraces, complete with balcony furniture if you wish to eat alfresco. It overlooks the pool and kiddies' paddling pool. Everything you need for self-catering is in the apartment and you only need to bring clothes and personal items. All bedding and towels are provided.
If you prefer to eat out there are numerous and various food establishments only 4 minutes' drive away parallel to the A7. There is no shortage of cafes, bars and restaurants wherever you travel and the tourist's comfort is well provided for. Golfing on this resort is second to none, and is used for professional tournaments. It has an 18 championship course, par 3 9 hole course, practice facilities and driving range. Whatever you want from your holiday, it is right on your doorstep including the 5* Hotel Villa Padierna with excellent spa and gym.
The resort is centrally located for easy reach to other wonderful towns and beaches, and a little further afield you will discover much Spanish history in the pretty white villages.If you are a shop-a-holic, you will be overwhelmed with the variety of shopping centres and designer outlets within easy reach.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Costa del Sol is a very attractive place to visit. The temperatures are warm and sunny for most of the year.We have had very few disappointing days no matter what time of year we stayed, and have always come home with a sun tan. The whole region is rich in fascinating Spanish history and we found Ronda to be the most interesting and stunning. Other places to visit: Gibralter, Estepona, Benahavis,-( lots of retaurants) Benalmadena-waterworld, sea world, cable car, marina, horse displays, birds of prey etc. Malaga, Marbella, Puerto Banus.
Puerto Banus / Los Flamingos area
San Pedro has Jet Skis for hire. Puerto Banus has a lovely Marina and some interesting shops and night life. HOWEVER, IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT PUERTO BANUS IS AT LEAST 10 MINUTES DRIVE FROM THE APARTMENT.
Marbella town is full of good shopping and has a long flat promenade with loads of food outlets, plus a lovely park with orange trees (A warning though: the oranges are very sour!)
Estepona is a favourite. Long sandy beach, sand sculptures, long flat Prom, play areas for young and old, lovely town centre and lots of cafes and bars.
Further afield, you will find Ronda, rich in the epic history of the struggle between Moors and Christians for control of the area. Staggering views and heights.The road to Ronda is steep and twisting, but quite an adventure. It takes about one hour but it's worth it!
For a good walk, go to Istan, park up and follow the route walks. Sturdy shoes needed!

How to get there
From Malaga Airport, by car, follow the signs for Cadiz, taking the A-7 and the AP-7 (Toll Road if preferred) to Cancelada. The Toll costs €3-5 or thereabouts. The trip takes approximately 50 mins from the airport on a good run. So far we have always had a good run. There are countdown markers at the side of the road knocking off the kilometres one at a time. The sliproad to Cancelada is immediately next after number 166. Look for the regular white sign "cambio de sentido" or change of direction or slip road.
We use www.recordrentacar.com at Malaga Airport, competitive prices and friendly staff. Easyjet, bmibaby, jet2, flybe all give competetive budget prices on their flights. We have found that easyjet.com is more straight forward with their booking pages.

Further details outdoors: Car parking is in a gated security garage. Each owner has their own numbered parking lot. Ours is number 12. There are Lifts up to the apartments. We are floor 1 (one) Ther is a small play park at the bottom of the access road to the community. There is a portable B-B-Q on the balcony and balcony furniture. An unheated outdoor swimming pool and paddling pool seen below the balcony. Watch the sun set over the mountains from the balcony! For your safety there is a 24 hour security guard on duty whom you can phone from the flat if you need him.

A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay must be paid on booking and the balance paid 6 weeks before the start of your stay. A further deposit of £200 is required and will be refunded after satisfactory inspection of the apartment after your stay. However, any damages will be deducted from this amount , pro-rata, should damages be found. No bookings may be less than 4 night's stay
