The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol is host to millions of tourists a year taking advantage of the frequent and often budget routes to Malaga and less frequently Gibraltar airports and heading to one of the many resorts located along the beckoning stretch of Costa del Sol coastline.
Along the coast lies Marbella with its famous marina, as well as Puerto Banus, Estepona, Sotogrande and finally Gibraltar.
The Costa del Sol weather will not disappoint with over 300 days of sunshine a year.
There are around 70 Costa del Sol golf courses on the "Costa del Golf" which offer year round golf as well as a whole range of other activities such as sailing, dolphin safaris, horse-riding, scuba diving, etc.
Or why not travel into the real Spain with the cities of Ronda, Cordoba, Seville and Granada all within comfortable reach for day tours. For those with more adventurous tastes, the 15km trip across the Straits of Gibraltar to Tangier in Morocco will appeal.
