About the home

An exquisite penthouse apartment, with part sea and mountain views in a secure luxury beach front development. Underground car parking with lift access direct to the apartment. Fully air conditioned and with under floor heating. The apartment is child friendly with a child's stair gate and a high chair for family meals.

Home cinema system with DVD, 60" inch FLAT SCREEN , satellite TV and Hi Fi. There is also FREE WIFI and IPOD DOCK. . Master bedroom on top floor with its own private sun terrace, wide screen satellite TV and music system. Two further large sun terraces one of which has a refrigerator and a built in barbecue. All bedrooms en suite , with a jacuzzi in the master bathroom. Superbly equipped Siemens kitchen, the apartment is elegantly furnished throughout.

The development has indoor (heated) and outdoor pools, saunas, gym and lovely gardens. It has an extensive library with books and a collection of CDs and DVDs

A superb location for beach, golf, sightseeing, restaurants and night life (Puerto Banus and Marbella are a short drive).

A spacious, luxurious and family friendly penthouse apartment. Three large terraces, fully equipped to maximise al fresco dining and sunbathing. Superb home cinema/satellite TV/music setup in lounge , with most facilities duplicated in master bedroom.

A short walk (to the left) along the beach you will find Heaven bar and restaurant which is open throughout the year except winter, and which provides live music and entertainment, watersports, manicures etc. as well as good food, beer and wine.There are other chiringuitos further along the beach. There is a registered 24hrs Taxi stand/service at the entrance of the development which is fantastic for those late nights of partying .The number is available from our management company. The development is very secure with 24 hrours CCTV monitoring and electronic coded entry.

Further details outdoors:
Surrounded by extensive gardens, with water features and two outdoor pools, the setting is delightful. The indoor pool, gym and saunas are added luxuries. The beach is just yards away, and beach restaurants are within walking distance. The renowned Tikitano restaurant is a short walk along the promenade, and there is a deli/bistro on site. We have your comfort in mind so an initial supply of toiletries is provided. Internet access is available on request.

Year round sun, temperatures ranging from 63F ( in deepest winter : walk on the beach with your toes in the sea and the sun on your back - you'll never forget it)! to 85F or more in summer.

Gaze idly at the superyachts and supercars at Puerto Banus while you savour a paella and a chilled white wine at a harbour cafe. Stroll the elegant promenade at Marbella, and enjoy some barbequed sardines on the beach.

Drive the fantastic mountain road to Ronda and explore this wonderful old city and its superb views. Enjoy even more exciting views from the cable car at Benalmadena, perhaps after a hug with Bruno, the huge sealion, at Sea World.

Visit the apes, and watch their antics, on the rock of Gibralar, and explore its military history through its mountain tunnels. Venture a few kilometres further along the coast to Tarifa and catch a fast ferry for a day trip to Tangiers. Take a guided tour around this incredible old town, walk around the Kasbah , and enjoy a true Moroccan meal.

The Puerto Banus / Menara Beach area

A paradise for golfers, with more than 50 courses within easy reach. Selwo Adventure Park, Funny Beach water park, and many other attractions are within easy driving distance. The Menara Beach complex offers undisturbed views of the Mediterranean, Gibraltar and the North African coast. Gibraltar is just 40 minutes away and from Tarifa, just a little further along the coast, fast ferries allow day visits to Morocco (although many will wish to stay for a day or two).

After your day's fun:
Visit Tikitano (2 minutes walk) for a gourmet meal in total splendour. Or indulge in chilled drinks from the fridge on your own terrace, a BBQ of fresh prawns, Dorado (sea bass), lamb and salad, watching the sun set over North Africa?

Malaga Airport: is located 6 km to the west of Malaga city and 80 km (55 minutes by car) from Estepona.
The journey by car to Estepona is mainly by motorway and very straightforward.

Driving directions to apartment B22, Buganvilla, El Menara Beach, Estepona:

After leaving the airport take the N340/E15 initially signposted Cadiz, follow the signposting to Benalmadena and continue onto the A7 towards Algeciras, which reverts back to the N340 after Marbella. Continue on this road, through San Pedro, taking the Selwo Adventure Park exit, immediately after Kilometre marker post 163. Turn right at the roundabout, coming back on the N340 in the opposite direction. Take the exit immediately, after Km post 163 and the Las Dunas hotel. Take the second turn on the right, left at the roundabout (signposted Princess Andalucia hotel), passing the Las Nayedes development on your right, right at the roundabout and Menara Beach is the development on the left in front of you.

“Fantastic apartment and complex” We have just returned from a long weekend staying at Menara Beach as part of a Hen Do (group of 7) and everyone had a fantastic time. The apartment is absolutely gorgeous and was perfect for what we wanted. It was extremely clean and very well equipt (hair dryer, adapters, iPod docking station). The facilities of the complex were also great. We had a evening flight but although we had to leave the apartment early we were very kindly allowed to stay and use the pool and on site facilities. The taxi rank was only a 5 minute walk from the apartment which was ideal for us as we didn't have a car. The taxis have a flat rate for each journey so we always knew how much it was going to be, however they are more expensive at weekends so something to be aware of if planning on using taxis. All I have to say about this apartment and complex is good things. I would recommend it for all group types ( familys, couples, hen dos). A massive thank you must go to Emily for everything and Catherine who was great while we were out in Spain. Response: Thanks very much for your kind comments. “Excellent appartment with private space for everyone” This appartement was the perfect place for our family. The Kids enjoyed their own privacy and we all the amenities from the save parking place over the full equipped kitchen to the comfort distance to our booked golf courses. Menara Beach is an appartmentcomplex in a very good condition, but you need definitly a car. Thanks to Emily and her stuff for a great holiday. We hope to come back again. “Excellent penthouse apartment in a lovely setting” A large well -appointed apartment in a great setting, landscaped grounds. Everything has been considered to ensure a relaxing holiday. Small things like initial toiletries for that first day are included. Ideal for a large family or perhaps 3 couples who also want their own bit of space from time to time, the apartment has separate patio areas for eating, relaxing on loungers etc. The holiday was during June and it was very peaceful - ideal for those who want to chill. If you want to party of course Marbella and Puerta Banus is a few miles down the road (car recommended). I would also recommend visiting the local towns - no signs of tourism, great places to eat! Just along the beach is the Heaven Bar/Restaurant, essentially a beach bar with regular live music - a must to visit - we went back several times. Overall a great holiday in an excellent apartment, I would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing break but with the option of partying in nearby Marbella.
