Our fabulous second home is located within the golden triangle where just 60 south facing apartments nestle into the foot of the Corniche mountains and enjoy a commanding view over the Marbella Country Club across Golf Valley and down towards Puerto Banus, Gibraltar, Morocco and the Mediterranean.
The location therefore lends itself to a microclimate unique to the coast with warm summers and pleasant winters.
Because of it's unique location our apartment can lend itself to a variety of holidays or your moods as they change throughout your time there. You can assure yourself of a relaxing base haven from which to enjoy Puerto Banus, Marbella, Golf, Beaches, Restaurants, Tennis etc. on your own terms.
Our apartment is situated within the smallest block within the development which we share with only 4 other residents and is centrally located with a clear view of the infinity pool and the tropical gardens.

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol enjoys approx. The Costa Del Sol is very flexible according to your lifestyle but is constant in it's supply of sun as a backdrop to your activities. It enjoys 320 days of sunshine a year where temperatures range from 20 degrees celcius in winter to 25 degrees in Spring / Autumn and usually exceeds 30 degrees in peak summer.
Places of interest include: - Malaga which hosts some impressive museums, exhibitions and architecture. The Picasso Museum is an absolute must. - The capital of the province; Seville (famous for it's oranges) and also acclaimed Spain's most beautiful city - The Alhambra Palace in Grenada; you can pre-book tickets on the internet before your holiday (strongly advised). There are also numerous day trips by coach. You must not miss the chance to visit this at least once in a lifetime! - Gibraltar; can be reached by boat from Marbella or by car ferry from further along the coast. Tax free shopping and an Ape Colony. From here you can even go on to Morocco (just visible from the apartment!). - Marbella; 10 minutes from the apartment with a fabulous old town and beaches. Restaurants in the cobbled Orange Square and often Flamenco Dancers. - Further afield by car are the Sierra Navada Mountains where you can ski. - Mijas (35 Mins); Lovely old town hanging on to the steep slopes well above the town of Fuengirola. Great restaurants and beautiful narrow streets. - Ronda: (45 mins): Another gem of a town perched above a deep gorge with a unique bull ring. - Selwo Animal Adventure Safari Park; 1 million breath-taking square metres of land; a really great day out that's not simply for the children!
Puerto Banus / Las Tortugas de Aloha area
More locally you might be interested in Puerto Banus itself (5 mins) featuring: - Beaches (and beach bars, restaurants showers etc), there is also a children's playground and and public use outdoor gym along the promenade, - Boutiques like Chloe, Chanel, Prada. - Department Store 'El Corte Ingles' (think Selfridges by the sea) - The Marina; full of fabulous yachts, cars, restaurants and bars. - A Bull Ring which hosts fights and concerts (the Sugarbabes and Enrique Ingelsias have played here) - A Saturday Morning Market between 9am - 2pm (beware the road closes). Great for bargains! - A Casino in case you fancy a flutter - Mulitple 5* Hotels with award winning Restaurants and Dancing on the 'Golden Mile' Road between Puerto Banus and Marbella. Pre-booking for the best restaurants is a must.
Nearer the apartment (3 mins) are: - 9 Restaurants (everything is covered - French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese...)! - 3 SuperMarkets (Staple brands in one, Fabulous Fresh Fish Counter in another). - 5 Championship Golf Courses (if you travel further you can access up to 50 incl. the world famous Valderrama).
Whilst the back of the apartment is South Facing with the fabulous view the front has views over Turtle Lake which is lovely for an early evening walk. The area also plays host to canoeing and the annual Feria (Festival) which you are welcome to join.
Alternatively, you could fly in to Gibraltar which is about an hour away.
Las Tortugas is 50Km (40 mins by car) from Malaga airport. You can hire a taxi (approx. 60 Euros) or a car which is usually cheaper (& recommended). I use holidayautos.com and have never been able to beat them on price. They act as agents for all the hire companies at Malaga airport and search for the best price. Car Hire is pick up and drop off from within the building so very easy.
There is also a Bus Service which operates from directly outside the airport which goes to Marbella. From there it's a short taxi ride to Tortugas.

Further details indoors: The apartment has been designed to the highest standards with marble floors throughout, high ceilings and two sets of French Doors across the South Facing side to maximize the fabulous views and provide a light and airy feel.
It is equipped with Sony Equipment; LCD TV and Sky.
The bathrooms are both fully tiled with Marble and have glass shower screens over the baths, we also have underfloor heating and heated towel rails.
The kitchen is similarly well designed with Mrable Worktop and is fully equipped with Bosch appliances incl. dishwasher and washer/dryer.
The décor and soft furnishings complement the award winning quality of this building with well chosen pieces by our interior designer.
We have also engaged the services of an on site management company who are available (within reason) to assist you with booking restaurants, taxi’s or with any queries which may occur during your stay.
Further details outdoors: The architecturally awarded urbanization of Las Tortugas de Aloha (Turtles of Aloha) is so named for it’s proximity to Turtle Lake; a protected and beautiful natural habitat for Turtles.
The south facing terraces in the apartment are both fitted with remotely controlled awnings which provide welcome cover in the height of summer or can be withdrawn to achieve a full sun trap effect during the winter.
One terrace is equipped with table and chairs for Al Fresco dining; the other with a sofa, footstool/table and arm chairs; an ideal host for a glass of rose in the evening while enjoying the fabulous views.
This gated urbanization also provides secure remote controlled underground parking with a lift to the apartment and patrolling security. The gated entrance is just down the stairs and controlled via intercom.
Nueva Andalucia is mostly residential and therefore enjoys a good provision of at least 10 restaurants and 2 supermarkets interspersed amid the villas and low rise apartments. The road up to Nueva Andalucia from Puerto Banus/Marbella is most picturesque with pink bouganvillae spilling over the walls of white-washed villas.

Terms A Reservation Deposit of 25% is payable upon booking if more than 16 weeks in advance. 50% is required if booking between 8 and 16 weeks in advance. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to arrival.
A £250 Security Deposit is required to cover breakages, loss or damage. This will be refunded when the property has been checked and they keys have been returned.
This is a no smoking, no pets apartment.
Cancellation Policy: * Reservation Deposit retained on any cancellation. * 50% of the total price is charged if cancelled within 4 weeks * 75% of the total price is charged if cancelled within 2 weeks * 100% of the total price is charged if cancelled within 7 days.
