THE LIVING ROOM Renovated in 2014, the exceptional stylish living room has now been extended to become a spacious L-shape, including a new (2014) kitchen. The living room has a large 3-seater sofa with chaise and two arm chairs and pouffe, a coffee table, fireplace, large Plasma TV, DVD and Sky TV and nice lighting. Three separate sets of French doors open to the terrace and garden providing plenty of light, fresh air and access to the outdoors, where views are towards the sea and mountains.
THE KITCHEN The new kitchen installed this season 2014 includes high end Bosch appliances, an oven, combo micro/oven, ceiling extractor fan, a dishwasher, fridge and freezer, around a large L-shaped kitchen island. High gloss white doored cupboards house plenty of kitchen equipment and additional worktops, working appliances, utensils, dishes, glass, crockery, plus stock-cupboard basics. Best of all the kitchen is adjacent to a pretty terrace with plants and dining table, via French doors, enabling the full al fresco cooking and dining experience.
THE BEDROOMS There are two bedrooms and a new (2013) family bathroom. Bedroom 1 feature a king size bed, floor to ceiling mirror, bedside tables with lamps and drawers and overlooks a large courtyard with water fountain. Bedroom 2 features a double bed and a single bed. The bedrooms are not over large but comfortably decorated and fully fitted with their own individual air conditioning units. Both rooms can be completely dark (Spanish style) with fitted shutters and doors. A spare single bed and baby's cot are also available.
THE BATHROOMS There are two bathrooms, a large luxury family bathroom, brand new in 2013, with 2 circular basins, large mirror, a bath, a walk in shower and toilet. Newly refurbished bathroom 2 includes a walk-in shower, toilet & wash basin, large mirror.
UTLITY ROOM A separate utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.
AIR CON Brand new (2013) Individual air conditioning units are situated in each room, with their own independent controls.

THE TERRACE The terrace features four individual arm rattan arm chairs and coffee table, a dining table, with both a wall based bench and separate chairs for al fresco dining, plus a gas BBQ, sun loungers and a garden. The terrace and garden are surround by established, Mediterranean plants with views to the sea and the mountains. Further sunbeds and outdoor space are available at the communal pool area. The terrace is bathed in sunshine from 12 noon through to sunset - in the summer 10pm. Cumbres del Rodeo is situated next to an agricultural valley.
THE SWIMMING POOL The large communal swimming pool, one of the largest in the neighbourhood, has a summer lifeguard, plenty of sunbeds and parasols, showers and bathroom facilities.
FOUNTAIN AND COURTYARD The aparment is located next to a pretty courtyard with water fountain.
RENOVATION We're constantly upgrading and improving our property and try to keep all features in good condition and order. The current photos are as up to date as possible, but there's always a chance something might have changed - we hope for the better - prior to your holiday.
GREAT LOCATION We are close and in walking distance or a short taxi/car ride to glamorous Puerto Banus, the town of San Pedro de Alcantara, and its new Boulevard de San Pedro, and the resort of Marbella. Nearby bars, beach clubs and restaurants include La Sala Bar, La Sala Beach Club, Ocean Club, Guey Restaurant, and the Marbella Casino. Nearby sporting activities include tennis courts, the coastal boardwalk of Paseo Maritimo, first class golf and the Puerto Banus Costa Water Park.
CAR, TAXIS, BUSES: It is not essential to have a car but we advise you to have a car as there are many fantastic things to do around Marbella and the Costa del Sol which makes a car most convenient - think similar to Los Angeles "everyone drives a car". Taxis and buses are very reasonably charged for short journeys so a good alternative. Walking in hot summer heat whilst carrying your shopping (or dressed up in your high heels) can be really tiring!
ANIMALS AND CATS: We also request guest who do not like or are allergic to cats do not book this apartment. As it is a garden apartment then occasionally a neutered neigbourhood cat might come and visit the apartment to say hola (or have a sneaky sleep on a sunny spot on the terrace) and this can distress some people.
STUDIO APARTMENT We also own the adjacent studio apartment next door which we use as we need it. Sometimes we're your neighbours and happy to advise on local activities and amenities.
WIFI INTERNET ACCESS AND TECHNOLOGY All the modern conveniences of home, including Sky satellite television and WIFI internet access. Plasma TV. iPad and iPhone Chargers. Each room has new individual modern Air-Conditioning unit and controls. New and modern kitchen appliances. Cable and Satellite TV are available in all rooms, plus broadband computer access available. If you come with a laptop with WIFI installed then you should have no problem connecting to the internet (no extra charge).
Smoking is permitted on the outside terrace.

The Andalucia region
MARBELLA Now the summer holiday destination of choice for the TOWIE crowd, footballers, boy bands and models - and with rumours of George Clooney, President Putin and Brangelina setting up home nearby, beautiful Marbella continues to be the aristocrat of the Costa del Sol, attracting a diverse group of residents and visitors include Julio Inglesias, Antonio Banderas, Arabian royalty, Russian oligarchs, European socialites, and reassuringly, some regular people!
Highly marketed as a playground for the rich, famous and wannabees, Marbella is packed with stunning restaurants, beautiful beach clubs, boardwalk promenades and marinas, including the famous Puerto Banús, where some of the world's biggest and most expensive private yachts moor, and leading luxury brands sell their wares.
As well as the glitz and glamour, Marbella and the Costa del Sol is offset by a stunning coastline and mountains, with plenty of tradition and natural beauty, including picturesque Marbella's Casco Antiguo (Old Town) with its narrow whitewashed alleyways and flower-filled balconies, numerous small pueblo blancos (white villages) and coastal towns. The Marbella city comprises of 27km of coastline with 24 named beaches, stretching from San Pedro de Alcántara (west) to Calahonda (east), all with different characters and visitor appeal.
Sport is a highlight of the Costa del Sol - sometimes referred to as the Costa del Golf, with several championship courses dotted along the coast. There are also top-class tennis and padel clubs, sailing opportunities and motor racing.
Despite its jet-set image, Marbella is very well equipped for families,with children welcomed at most places. There's a Costa Water Park with trampolines and various floatable activities actually in the sea. The new Boulevard San Pedro with multiple playgrounds. Funny Beach (Carretera N-340, Km 184) includes trampolines and mini-motorbikes plus water-skiing, jet-skis and go-karts for older kids and adults. Selwo Aventura (Carretera N-340, Km 162.5, between San Pedro de Alcántara and Estepona) is an impressive African-themed nature park where 2,000 animals and 700 birds roam in as-near-natural-as-possible conditions.
Plenty of sight seeing opportunities are available and its very possible to combine your trip to our apartment with trips further afield in short distance to Gibraltar, Cadiz, Ronda, Malaga, Nerja, Granada and Sevilla. All of these would be within a 2 hour drive.
SAN PEDRO DE ALCANTARA is a nearby town newly regenerated with 'Boulevard de San Pedro' - a newly landscaped park with a showstopping bridge, children's parks, an ampitheatre with live music and entertainment, bars and restaurants.
MALAGA Málaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol. It has a busy commercial port, bars and restaurants where local food and language are the norm and Malagueños go about their daily business. Its a stunning small city with a beautiful port area, moorish castles, palm tree boulevards and a lovely shopping district, featuring many handsome streets, plazas and several historic landmarks which would grace any European city.
The Picasso Museum Museo Carmen Thyssen have brought millions of visitors to the city and has aided Malaga's growth. Other benefits include a new Parador and a wealth of cosmopolitan restaurants, cafés and bars. It may be a while yet before it becomes an established city break alongside the likes of Barcelona and Seville, but Málaga is no longer just a mere holiday portal and definitely worth a visit.
LOCATION For those who know the area well, the urbanisation Cumbres del Rodeo is a two minute drive from the Nueva Andalucia roundabout next to the H-10 Andalucia Plaza Hotel and Marbella Casino. Nueva Andalucia is the exclusive residential area next to Puerto Banus.
BEACH The apartment is situated in walking distance to the beach – the closest being Mistral Beach next to the Guadalpin Puerto Banus Hotel; and the designer beach resorts of La Sala Buddha Beach and Ocean Beach Club, all minutes walk to Puerto Banus. There's a terrific boardwalk promenade, mainly on a single flat area - making it a stunning walking possibility along the Mediterranean, either in the direction of Marbella or alternately San Pedro de Alcantara.
GOLF The apartment is in the Marbella district of Nueva Andalucia, which is also known as 'Golf Valley' and features upwards of 20 international standard golf courses within easy reach. The nearest is the championship Los Naranjos Golf Club, winner of 'Golf Club of the Year' presented by prestigious Marbella based magazine 'Essential', and is approximately a 5 minute drive away. Golf clubs can be rented nearby or collected at Malaga airport.

"A lovely relaxing holiday in a stylish but comfortable apartment!"
What a fantastic stylish apartment! We had a lovely relaxing week and would recommend this apartment. Our two children really enjoyed swimming in the large pool and sky TV was a bonus when it got too hot! We loved eating down at the harbour in Puerto Banus and watching the world go by.
