About the home

Welcome to the website for our family property in Spain which we offer to other families looking for a well located home away from home to explore the wonders of the South region of this magnificent country of Spain. Whether you wish to relax in the sun around the pool and read a good book, or rent a car and explore the magnificent authentic Spanish villages and wonderful golf courses, please choose our home. We only rent out to caring families and mixed groups of partners and never to single sex parties. We do try to go the extra mile in our special customer service and hope you will have a truly magical stay. This is reflected in the fact that so many of our renters have returned year on year and often we have to find suitable accommodation for them with our neighbours if we are already booked.

Our fully air-conditioned luxurious 4 bed, 3 bath villa (sleeps 8 persons) is situated near to Los Flamingos Golf & Country Club and set amidst the foothills of the Sierra Blanca Mountains just inland from the famous Puerto Banus Harbour.

Our villa has a superb roof top solarium for al fresco dining, 3 further terraces,a relaxation games room and a large communal swimming pool for residents only. The complex is completely sheltered with access controlled security and under ground parking. Puerto Banus is 10 minutes drive away with its many restaurants and designer shops, casino and nightclubs. You can enjoy suntrap beaches, crystal clear seas, all within minutes of Los Flamingos.

We have reduced prices on our property as we fully appreciate these are difficult times for everyone and because the strength of the Euro. We are always open to an offer (reasonable offers only please).

Finally, as the summer months are now fully booked up, we are actively looking for renters for the Autumn months to Christmas and will offer a discounted price to any families staying over during these months. So please do get in touch.

Villa Floor Plan

Furnished to an extremely high standard throughout our home oozes style no matter which room you opt to be in!

Ground Floor - Kitchen/Lounge and Diner

On entering our property through the main entrance to the left of the lobby is the fully fitted kitchen with all the requirements you will need for whichever level of cooking you are at along with a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Directly ahead you enter the elegant lounge and dining room. Relax on one of the two leather sofas and put on one of your favourite DVDs (dont forget to bring your own!) should you find that sun a little too hot in the afternoon! Our lounge leads out onto a large terrace with two large glass topped tables where you can choose to dine al fresco or just sip a cool gin and tonic whilst looking over the pool. For a more formal dining experience sit yourself indoors at the exquisite dining room table, all you need to do is toss to see who will be cooking!

Basement - Games Area

Downstairs from the ground floor, our basement has been converted into a games room with a pool table, two sofas, one which is a double sofa bed and its own en suite bathroom, an ideal room for R&R. There is a small fridge to keep your refreshments cool and is the ideal place to throw on some tunes. There is also plenty of storage space. The second entrance to the property can also be found here leading directly to the car port where there is ample room for two cars.

First Floor - Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3

Heading back upstairs to the first floor where you will find the main sleeping accommodation. Bedroom one consists of a double bed and again plenty of wardrobe space. Bedroom two is a large twin bedroom with en suite bathroom which houses both a separate shower and bath. This bedroom also leads onto a small terrace with a small table and two chairs where you can relax and enjoy an early morning coffee and to plan your day. Bedroom three houses just a single bed and is adjacent to the second bathroom that can be found on this floor.

Second Floor - Bedroom 4

The second floor has bedroom number four which has twin beds and opens out to a terrace either side with sun loungers on both terraces.

Top Floor - Solarium

The top floor houses yet another terrace where you may opt to get some space away from the rest of your party and is the perfect place to top up your tan prior to returning home. With great views over the mountains and the nearby Los Flamingos golf course relaxing could not come any easier.

Fully air conditioned throughout and housing everything that you would require in a home away from home, Platinum Heights is the perfect retreat.

Outside
There is a fantastic roof top solarium terrace. There are 3 further terraces with table, chairs and sunloungers. The large outdoor pool is shared and there is a barbecue facilities available.

Distances
It is 5-10 mins to San Pedro which is a typically spanish town with lots of lovely restaurants, bodegas, shops etc. The famous Marina at Puerto Banus and cosmopolitan Marbella with its cobbled streets and Orange Square are within a 10 minute drive. Beautiful Ronda nestling amongst the Sierra Blanca mountains with the oldest Bullring in Spain is reached easily within 45 minutes. Benhavis 12km, Spanish equestrian Centre 8km.

Coast/Beach
The Bel Air Platinum is 15 mins walk or 5 mins drive to the local beaches.

Skiing
Bel Air Platinum is within 2 hours drive of the Sierra Nevada mountains and its wonderful ski resort where you can hire all the necessary ski equipment. The best months are Jan/Feb/March when the skiing is excellent. It is possible through the winter to ski in the morning and swim in the pool at Bel Air late afternoon!

The property is lovingly managed by our good friend Keith Lippingwell, who lives just 2 mins from the development. Keith will meet and greet all guests and generally ensure they are comfortable with the facilities of the property, the amenities/restaurants/supermarkets in the area.

We can now offer a Shuttle Bus from the Airport at a very reasonable price so please do let us know if you would like us to arrange this for you.

The Bel Air Platinum is located next to Los Flamingos, one of the most renowned golf courses on the Costa Del Sol. This is only 2 mins by car from this urbanisation.

Please note, we only accept rentals from families or mixed gender groups.

Conditions

Booking Notes

Upon booking, we will require a 25% deposit to secure your reservation, with the balance due a few weeks prior to your arrival. However, we will keep you fully informed of the dates.

Your villa is prepared and cleaned at start of your holiday with fresh linen and towels for each guest, but please do bring your beach towel.

Note: all distances are approximate and the owners reserve the right to change amenities / details within the property without notice and as necessary.

The Costa del Sol region

Micro-climate

Marbella has a unique microclimate, even in the winter months the temperature can reach a pleasant 20 degrees or more, perfect for all the sightseeing available in the area or a game of Golf or Tennis. In the Spring and Autumn you can expect temperatures of around 25 degrees or more and of course in the summer months it is wonderfully hot, perfect for just spending lazy days on the beach or enjoying the many water sports on offer. The warm evenings can be enjoyed strolling around the boutiques, cafes and restaurants that cluster around the cobbled streets of the harbour or you will appreciate sitting outside one of the many restaurants or cafes enjoying an alfresco meal and drink, as you watch the world go by......


* Take a trip or drive to Gibraltar. It’s about 35 minutes by car. Once there you can get some duty free (very cheap) and visit the Barbary apes by taking the Cable Car up the rock.

* Visit Sierra Nevada about a 2 hour drive away, but well worth the drive. Beautiful scenery with excellent skiing conditions in the winter and lovely mountain walks in the summer.

* The historic towns of Seville, Cordoba, Cadiz and Grenada, with the famous Alhambra Palace are just over 2 hours or so, you can arrange excursion trips in Fuengirola.

* A day trip to Morocco is possible, to visit the ancient town of Tangiers. A hydrofoil takes you from Algeciras about 90 minutes away direct to the port of Tangiers, where you can visit the markets, take in the atmosphere and buy some very reasonably priced rugs!

The Puerto Banus / Puerto Banus/Cancelada area

Located just 10 minutes from the bustling town of Puerto Banus and the more tranquil town of Estepona, this makes it an ideal base from which to explore the local historical locations such as Ronda, Seville and Granada.

Golfers Paradise

For Golfers, there are many internationally renowned courses near by, within 10 mins drive. Imagine playing golf surrounded by a mountainous backdrop and stunning scenery.

The exclusive Los Flamingos Golf Resort is on your doorstep and other courses include; Real Club de Golf las Brisas, Aloha Golf Club, La Quinta Golf & Country Club, Los Naranjos Golf Club, and Golf la Dama de Noche (floodlit Golf available).

Further east and west there are more than 40 golf courses within 30 mins drive.

Puerto Banus

We are situated within a 10 minute drive from the world famous Puerto Banús Marina with its bevy of beautiful boats ranging from high speed offshore boats and yachts to luxurious cruisers owned by the likes of Michael Douglas and King Fahed of Saudi Arabia.

In Puerto Banús you will find fishermen with their nets and a marina full of luxury yachts. If you really want to have a bird´s eye view of the port´s magnificent position, then regular boat trips into Marbella are the ideal solution and available on a regular basis from the central promenade.The beaches adjacent to both sides of Puerto Banús marina hold a European blue flag.

The Marina is world famous for its entertainment of movie stars and the like. The restaurants are therefore used to presenting the finest food available with prices being surprisingly affordable.

Puerto Banus is a great place to take a coffee and watch the celebrities who make this the place to be seen in. Don't be surprised if you see Sean Connery or Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffiths walking down the front as they have houses here and he even has a street named after him!

Marbella

Jewel of the Costa del Sol and the whole of the Mediterranean. Marbella holds a special charm for the visitor contrasting the sea, the mountains, and the famous "0ld Town" with the "Orange Square".

Fine sandy beaches which extend along the coast and the exceptional climate makes this an ideal place. Entertainment and leisure are high on the list in and around Marbella, Casinos, superb restaurants of every nationality, cinemas, shopping centres, numerous golf courses and every other sporting facility available, from December to May you are within easy reach of the ski-ing in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada.

Marbella is famous for its high class shopping , so if your purse allows, you can buy all the " names" you have ever heard of. If your purse won't stretch that far, it is still fun to fantasy shop.

Malaga International Airport is the nearest airport. The villa is located just 45 mins West of Malaga Airport along the A7 Motorway and extremely easy to reach.

There are many low cost airlines flying to Malaga, including:
Easyjet, Ryanair, BMI Baby, MyTravelite, Thomson Fly and many others.

Detailed directions to the villa will be sent directly to the renter, a couple of weeks prior to arrival. The property is fully managed and there is 24 hour on-call support.
