The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
The Costa del Sol (English: Sun Coast) is a region in the south of Spain, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, comprising the coastal towns and communities along the Mediterranean coastline of the Málaga province and the eastern edge of the Cádiz province. Puerto Banus / La Quinta Golf Club area
La Quinta is a consolidated project of 1.6 million m2, situated in the heart of Marbella's Golf Valley and only 5 minutes away from Puerto Banús. La Quinta is directly accessible from the A7 Motorway and amongst its installations it boasts the 27 holes of the prestigious La Quinta Golf.
The focal point of Puerto Banus is the marina. It has berths for 915 boats, including those of the King of Saudi Arabia and several of the world's wealthiest individuals. Behind the harbour lie streets filled with bars, boutiques and nightclubs. Behind the main square is a vast El Corte Inglés department store.
Although the superstars have moved to more private destinations, visitors to 'The Port' (as it is known by locals) tend to be extremely wealthy tourists from northern Europe (especially UK and Arabs (especially from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia) as well as holiday-making Spaniards.

Further details outdoors: The apartment is located within the La Quinta Golf complex (27 holes), with panoramic views of mountains and the Marbella coastline. The course consists of 3 loops of 9 holes (Guadaiza, San Pedro and Ronda) and a successful Golf Academy with separate practice areas. Former Ryder Cup player and World Champion Manuel Piñero, who also designed the course, together with Antonio Carcía Garrido, supervise the Academy.
