Pre-paid WiFi available in apartment, on request. Amenities in immediate area include well stocked supermarket, bistro/bar with free WiFi & several restaurants. Further selection of coffee bars/bistros and restaurants just 5 mins walk away. The very popular weekly market at the Bullring is also 5 minutes walk - give yourself time to root about as there are some fabulous bargains to be had!

Casa Carla comes with hot/cold air-con, 32" flatscreen LCD-TV & DVD player, iPod speaker system, Playstation 2 games console and CD player - selection of cds, dvds and PS2 games in apt. Selection of books available - leave one/take one. The lounge is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and spacious with two large sofas, large dining area and direct access to terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped - we like our "cooking in" evenings to be enjoyable so a full range of utensils and tools are available. Of course, we also have the essential fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, oven/hob, microwave and ironing facilities. Both bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space and are en-suite with bath and shower. Hairdryers and hair straighteners in both rooms. Linen and towels, including pool towels, are provided. High chair and travel cot available if required.
Prepaid wi-ifi internet available in apartment, on request, please enquire. Should you be feeling thirsty or hungry on your arrival - we leave you a welcome pack. Have a coffee or a cup of tea on us, or if you prefer, have a beer, water, coke or glass of wine. It's all here for you! Bread, cheese and cold meats also provided.
If you would like something special, such as cava, fruit or flowers, we will be happy to provide these at cost.
Selection of beach equipment available - parasol, chairs, beach games etc. also pool inflatables for the children.

Maestranza is built on a slope so our front door is on the ground floor - but when you walk through the apartment to the terrace, it not only overlooks a lovely water feature but has two levels below. Best of both worlds, having access on ground level at back, yet terrace two levels up at front with no stairs in apartment. La Maestranza is a family - friendly gated complex with 2 pools (1 heated) and children's splash pool set amongst beautifully kept sub-tropical gardens.

We have a designated numbered parking space in the underground garage - access fob provided.
30% deposit at time of booking with balance due 4 weeks before departure. We require a £150.00 security deposit with your final payment which is refundable after departure, subject to satisfactory apartment inspection.

The Andalucia region
The Costa del Sol is one of Europe's most popular year-round holiday spots, stretching for 160 kilometres to the east and west of Malaga on the south coast of Spain and providing miles of magnificent beaches.
The coastline here is sheltered by hills and high mountains allowing for a kind of micro climate. This limits rainfall, and as a result the region enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). The typically very mild winters, boast daily highs of around 20°C (64°F) and at night the low rarely falls below 10°C.
Malaga is the capital of the Costa del Sol and the birthplace of Pablo Picasso. It's Spain's second largest port and has a cosmopolitan flavour along with much traditional Andalucian charm amid its maze of medieval streets.
A supermarket (superb fresh fish counter), WiFi bistro with Sky Sport, restaurants, medical centre and chemist are just some of the facilities in the immediate vicinity of the complex, whilst even more restaurants, bistros and bars can be found a short 5 minutes walk from the apartment. You can easily go out for a meal or a drink and forget about the car.
It is a 15 minutes walk or short bus ride (bus stop close by) to Puerto Banus. Here you can experience the bustle of the marina and a wonderful selection of exclusive designer shops and larger stores. Puerto Banus, is home to some of the finest shops and restaurants in Spain and offers miles of blue flag beaches with views towards Africa and Gibraltar.
Puerto Banus is linked to the centre of Marbella not only by road, but by a car free promenade and a water-taxi. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete this peaceful, coastal walk or half an hour on the boat.
One of the best and largest markets on the Costa Del Sol is the street market at the Bull Ring only 5 minutes away from the apartment - every Saturday 9.00 - 2.00.
El Corte Ingles is a very large department store situated near to the port. This offers a full shopping experience with all the big brands represented. There are several places to eat / drink within the store.
Puerto Banus's relaxed friendly atmosphere can provide everything for a holiday stay and makes it an excellent choice for families and couples with something for everyone in this area of the Costa del Sol.
The Costa del Sol is also known as the 'Costa del Golf' due to the numerous golf courses in the area. Casa Carla is located in the Golf Valley, which means you are within 10 minutes drive of 5 courses - Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, La Quinta, Aloha, and La Dama de Noche - and within 30 minutes drive from at least 12 other courses.
The historic town of Ronda and the delightful White Villages are close by. The cultural centres of Seville, Cardoba and Granada are also possible places to visit. You can go on a day trip to Morocco or Tangiers from Algeciras and Tarifa or visit the apes on the rock of Gibraltar. There are many marked walks in the Andalucian mountains for those who like to explore on foot. Spain's vias verdes (greenways) are one of Andalucia's lesser known rural attractions and a great way to discover the countryside off the, sometimes well-beaten track. In the winter months you can ski on the Sierra Nevada mountain range - about two and a half hours drive - snow and sun in one day!
If you are holidaying with children - you are well catered for. There are aquaparks in Fuengirola (which also has an excellent zoo) and at Torremolinos. Near to the water park in Torremolinos, is a Crocodile Park. The Selwo Wildlife Adventure Park is well worth a visit, where you will find over 2000 animals from every continent living in semi-free conditions on the one million square metre site! Tivoli World, in Benalmadena, is a theme park with the usual rides, attractions and restaurants. For those who like their sports, there are tennis and golf activities - check with local press. Don't forget the blue flag beaches of Puerto Banus and Marbella! Multi cinemaplexes at Puerto Banus and Marbella - as well as American bowling. Of course, you may prefer to stay in the complex and let the family enjoy splashing around in one of the pools! Kid's morning sports club 5 mins walk away - variety of activities over a week with a weekly "award" ceremony. My nephews love it! (And so do their parents, as they get some time to themselves!!)
And if you prefer getting away from it all (as we do!) there are miles and miles of marked walks through the national park behind the Cost del Sol. The wildlife and flora that can be seen is just fabulous - we have a variety of guide books. Please use them - you'll be amazed at the "other side" of the Costa del Sol.

"Home from home!"
Absolutely gorgeous apartment equipped with everything you could need and more! The 'welcome pack' was a very nice added bonus to get you started! The complex is very well maintained and colourful. Both pools have ample sunbeds and are very close to the apartment!
The location of the apartment is great, about a 15 minute walk into Puerto Banus and a taxi back at night was about 7 Euros. Brilliant supermarket right next door and lots of places to eat.
Can highly recommend 'Curry Leaves' Indian (just round the corner from the apt) and Picasso's Italian at the Marina. Sinatra's is actually the cheapest bar we drank in on the Marina - 4 drinks 14 Euros!

"Until next time Casa Carla!"
This is a lovely apartment - very clean, spacious and extremely well equipped. Tilly & Adi, who look after the apartment for the owners, are very helpful and gave us a lovely welcome! The complex is well kept with lots of colourful flowering plants. Both pool areas have plenty of sun beds and it was reassuring to have a lifeguard on duty at the large pool. There are lots of very nice restaurants and quite a few bistro type bars nearby. Cafe Comptoir, which is just passed the complex gate, is a great little place as it serves snacks all day, has free wifi and a huge TV! We had a great family holiday and will definitely be back!

"Fab apartment, great holiday!"
We had a really lovely holiday here, the apartment is immaculate, really well equipped and in a great location. There are plenty of lovely bars and restuarants within easy walking distance and a supermarket and chemist close by. I would definitely recommend Casa Carla and we will certainly be returning!

Hi Carol, I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that we really enjoyed staying in your apartment. It is so homely with a vast array of home comforts. We enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and watching movies in the evening! The facilities, including two pools on site are great, as are the restaurants, bars and shops in the immediate vicinity. We found Pedro's bar hidden away past the Galley Bistro and this was our personal favourite with traditional food and hospitality. We'd love to visit Casa Carla again in the future!
