FLAMINGOS GOLF CLUB
Flamingos Golf Club placed in the most beautiful places in Marbella. You will enjoy incredible views to Mediterranean Sea, África and Gibraltar. Its 18-hole, 5.714 meter, par-71 course, designed by the prestigious cause architect Antonio Garcia Garrido is characterised by its carefully conserved landscaping, with a large variety of trees and beautiful views of the Mediterranean. The 5*THE RITZ-CARLTON Hotel Villa Padierna restaurant & bar overlook the golf course.
The nearest town San Pedro de Alcántara is just a few minutes drive away from the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and 20 km from the town of Estepona.
Be sure to head for the central plaza here with its gracious parish church and surrounding narrow streets which are packed with intriguing small shops, side walk cafes and bars. Thursday is street market day with all the associated hustle and bustle; a veritable bargain shopper's paradise. And the modern wide beach front promenade is a most with several excellent chiringuitos (beach side restaurants) specialising in fish dishes.
Puerta Banus is the Spanish equivalent to St Tropez in France. Its quays are lined with the most fabulous luxury yachts you can imagine. The rich and famous are always to be found here relaxing amongst the numerous world-class bars and restaurants. Fantastic views can be enjoyed whilst taking a stroll along the impressive breakwater.
Marbella is a most stylish and beautiful town offering a wonderful blend of chic contemporary architecture and historical old buildings. You can relax with a drink or enjoy a superb meal in the famous Orange Square whilst watching the world go by. There are superb shopping areas, a very impressive sea-front promenade, and peaceful parks and avenues to stroll through at your own pace. And don’t miss the amazing marina.
La Canada is a terrific modern shopping mall where you can buy just about anything you need. It is situated on the main highway immediately north of Marbella. Well worth a visit.
Benahavis lies about 5 minutes inland. Although you only travel a short distance inland it is a hidden gem of the Costa del Sol. As well as a good number of restaurants there are some small shops and galleries where you can buy original artworks.
Ronda The beautiful town of Ronda lies 60km up a winding mountain road from Marbella in the mountain range known as the Serranía de Ronda. It stands at an altitude of 739 m and has approximately 35,000 inhabitants. It is one of the most visited towns in Andalucia with most people arriving on day excursions from the Costa del Sol. Some artefacts found around Ronda date back to prehistoric times (as far as 28000 BC). Every architectural era is represented here including Roman, Arabic, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque.

The apartment lives up to the pictures online, its stunning, everything is of the highest standard and the complex itself is ultra stylish and safe. Myself, my husband, 10 month old and my parents stayed in the apartment for two weeks. It was perfect for all our needs and had plenty of room for us without feeling on top of each other. It is cool and airy with 2 big outdoor areas. During the day our little girl played happily in the shaded area on the terrance while we sunbathed beside her, it was the perfect set up. There was a paddling pool in the toy box and she had hours of fun in that on the grass. In the late afternoon we often went to the pool with her of which there is a choice of two. The apartment, has everything you could need, the kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils. The views are stunning as its up on a hill and we had some lovely challenging walks around the area. The location is great as the surrounding areas offer so much to do, every day we did something different. There are many local beaches a short drive away. We explored Marbella, Puerto Banus, Ronda, Benahavis, San Pedro and more, they are all a short drive away. The markets are amazing too. When we arrived we met the lady who gave us the keys and settled us in, she was so nice and really helpful. It was a nice comfort having a contact there who we could ring with any questions. We needed to find a doctor one day and with her advise we were sorted in a couple of hours, all very straightforward. We will definatley be returning, we could not find better and with small children its idea but I was also imaging going with the girls for a glamorous break.... |

We arrived in the evening to Alanda Flamingos as the sun was going down. On entering the appartment we knew the journey was worth it. A very spacious bright, modern and luxurious apartment. It is beautifully finished with all the comforts of home; including flat screen TV and free Wifi connection. As we explored we quickly found the large garden terrace, with its gorgeous garden furniture. The terrace is flooded with sunshine all day long and has a magnificent view of the Rock of Gibraltar, on a good day you can see all the way to the coast of Morocco. We loved spending lazy hours out on the terrace which overlooks one of the complex's two clear, sparking swimming pools and the nearby Los Flamingos golf course. The apartment also has a cool, shaded back terrace for those hotter hours of the day, very comfortably furnished - bliss! With the 24hr security this gated private complex felt very safe and secure. Stylish and modern white washed walls, terracotta roof tiles and contemporary designed architecture frames the surrounding views beautifully. Altogether a stunning and very quiet relaxing place to holiday. Marbella town and Puerto Banus are just a short drive away from this apartment and offer many top class restaurants and shopping beside the famous harbour. We have wonderful memories of our fabulous holiday. Thank you for providing the perfect setting that made it all the more enjoyable. It was a truly special experience. From booking, through to meeting the friendly local representative who greeted us on arrival with the keys and showed us around the apartment, it all went extremely smoothly and everything was easily organised. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen is modern and fully equiped, there were fresh towels and clean linen, and useful infomation on the local aminities, including shops, restaurants etc was left to hand. We felt as if all of our needs for a carefree holiday were thoughtfully anticipated and met. We would highly recommend this appartment to all our friends, family and anyone looking for a stress free and relaxing break in the sun. We will definitely be back soon. |

We had a wonderful family holiday at Alanda Flamingos. The apartment has loads of space. Big lounge, kitchen and terraced patio area with great views and a really smart pool. There was everything to make our stay as relaxing as possible - a complete "home from home". There are beautiful views from the patio and lovely sunsets and during our time there it was very relaxing and peaceful. The owner was lovely to deal with and her agent was very helpful to us on our arrival and throughout our stay. What I probably valued most of all is the feeling of security on the complex and knowing that the children could play safely around the apartment. I could not recommend visiting this apartment highly enough, and we are already looking forward to our next visit. |
