The Andalucia region
The Marbella region is not so much a resort, as a way of life. An intoxicating mix of luxury, elegance and history served up in the most perfect of settings. Marbella oozes style and offers something for everyone - beautiful scenery, nightlife, bars, shopping, Golf and a range of sporting or relaxing activities to suit every age. All this plus 26km of idyllic beaches and easy access to the most beautiful towns in Andalucia as well as the Sierra Nevada for ski-ing. But more than anything, people choose Marbella because it is superbly Spanish. You only have to wander into Orange square and sit among the colourful galleries and white-washed tapas bars against a backdrop of Mediterranean blue- and you will be back.
The world-famous Puerto Banus is set around a breath-taking Marina where the rich, famous and beautiful come to moor their yachts, park their cars and be seen!
Although built in the 70’s, the port retains true Andalucian character with its narrow streets and white-washed buildings. Don’t miss the famous Rastro market on Saturdays. Visit the port to see and be seen, and don’t forget your spending money.
Capital of the province, Seville is often acclaimed as Spain’s most beautiful city. Steeped in culture and history it is a delight to the senses and paints an unforgettable picture of the real Spain.
Enjoy breathtaking views as you approach this white-washed town perched on a cliff top in Spain’s most glorious landscape. Home to Spain’s oldest bull-ring and maintaining to this day the essence of rural Spain.
This fishing-village remains one of the most unspoilt on the coast and the heritage of centuries runs through its streets. Boasting 30km of sandy beaches, life here goes at a slower pace. You’ll find the people warm and friendly and they uphold their traditions with pride.
Dominated by the stunning Alhambra Palace, this is arguably the most exciting city in the region. The Alhambra was once home to Arabic Sultans and is considered by some to be one of the 10 wonders of the world. It is Spain’s most visited monument. Wander through the cobbled streets of the old Aarabic quarter and stop in one of the many squares for a bite to eat. The city is quite stunning by day, and comes alive at night to the sound of Flamenco and Jazz. From here it is a short step into the Sierra Nevada - making it possible to sunbathe on the beach and ski in the mountains on the same day!
While having much in common with its neighbour, southern Spain, Gibraltar has a culture and character all its own. It is a meeting place of continents, measuring less than 6 sq km in total. Inhabited by a unique mix of nationalities - British, Moroccans, Indians and Spanish. The famous and imposing rock is well worth a visit – not least for the tax-free shopping and colony of famous apes!
This is the capital city of the Malaga Province and one that is often overlooked by the millions of tourists who land at the international airport 6km to the west. It is, in fact, a charming city with its leafy Alameda. This is the birthplace of Picasso and the new Picasso museum houses many of his works. Visit the Paseo for some of the best fish and seafood cafes in the province.
Tangier… Marrakech… Casablanca… Though just an hour by ferry, and visible from the coast of Spain, these cities date back to 500 B.C. and present a culture and way of life that is as unfamiliar as it is exotic

"Fantastic flat in stunning location"
My friends and I were in need of a comfortable, relaxing break and we found in at Monte Halcones. The flat was clean, spacious, cool and very welcoming. The view of Gibraltor from from the balcony was unrivalled and we spent a lot of time in the afternoon sun, admiring the vista. Elsewhere, the rest of the resort itself is ideal - a beautiful, clean swimming pool which was never very busy, friendly residents, and a short walk down to the super market and restaurants. Getting to Puerto Banus just took tens minutes in a cab so we were able to enjoy the energy of the port, but escape easily to the tranquility of a homely yet stylish flat. I would highly recommend it.

We have been in this appartment for just one week but we have had an amazing time! The view was stunning, the space in the appartment was really comfortable and the place of the appartment was perfect. We absolutely want to come back here once.
Thank you for taking the time to review our apartment. We are very pleased that you enjoyed it so much and look forward to welcoming you back again in the future.

"The most stunning views I have seen from an apartment in Spain and I lived there for 20 years"
The apartment was fresh and airy and well equiped. It was comfortable and well situated near to all necessary amenities, including a pub and several excellant eateries. A car was essential but that is normal.
Thank you for taking the time to review our apartment. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay just before Christmas and look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

The best thing regarding this rental are the 2 terraces affording sun morning and evening,The fixtures & fittings are tired, it needs a major refurbishment to live up to the Owners description. The views are spectacular and it is fairly close to Puerto Banus and other resorts, needs a private parking space as the 4 available were often taken requiring use of the 3 Guest spaces(short walk up/down a rather steep hill)
Whilst we are pleased that you enjoyed the magnificient views we are very disapointed that you felt the apartment was "tired".
We try very hard to maintain the apartment to a very high standard, in fact just a few months before your stay in October we had the apartment completely re-decorated with bright fresh white paint throughout. This was done by a proffessional painter and decorator to a very high standard.
Prior to the Summer we had new ceiling fans fitted in both bedrooms to offer our guests an alternative to the air-conditioning.
It is a pity that you didnt contact me during your 10 week stay as we would have been happy to look at anything you felt needed to be done.
On our regular trips to the apartment ourselves we always replenish any broken or damaged glassware and crockery and make sure that our guests have everything they need for both a short term and long term stay.
The cotton bedding is of the highest quality as are the towels which are plentiful.
Our proffessional cleaners have always done a great job and Im sure you will agree that the apartment was spotless on your arrival.
We have recently returned to England after spending 2 wonderful weeks at the apartment over the Christmas period. Whilst we were there we showed prospective renters the apartment. They have been renting in the area for the the past 15 years for 3 months over the winter period. After a thorough inspection they told us that it was the nicest apartment they had ever seen in the area and were very pleased to book for 3 months next year.
I am very sorry that you felt that the apartment did not live up to your expectations as this is not the experience of all our other renters. Please feel free to contact me personally when we could perhaps discuss this in more detail so that we can make sure that no-one should feel the same way again.
I can assure you that we endevour to do anything necesary to make sure that the accomodation is kept to a very high standard.
With regards to the car parking I must apologise if it was not explained to you that all the parking areas are for the use of the renters. There are many more than the 4 spaces at the bottom of the hill, including those running down the right hand side. we have rarely had a problem with parking and perhaps you were not aware that you are able to use the parking areas directly in front of other apartments to the right. I have never had the need to park in the guest spots a little further up the hill and have always find a space close to the apartment.

"Peaceful in Luxurious surroundings"
Stayed As a family in July for 10 nights. The apartment was fantastic with two large bedrooms both with large ensuite bathrooms. There was a large Open Plan sitting room with the Veranda large with fantastic views down to the coast, Gibraltar, and Africa. The pool was absolutely stunning with plenty of beds grassed area and lots of shade through Palmtrees very very relaxing.
Thank you for taking the time to review our apartment. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

A very nice, comfortable apartment with a superb shared pool. The apartment is a great place to chill out with comfortable furniture, full Sky TV package, WiFi and good airconditioning. The pool is lovely, a good size at a nice temperature and with plenty of shade. The apartment is up a steep hill and at the bottom are 4 or 5 restaurants/bars. It is a short drive into San Pedro de Alcantara and not too far from Benahavis - both towns have nice restaurants.
Thank you for your positive review.
We are very happy that you enjoyed staying at Monte Halcones and look forward to hearing from you again in the future.

"Beautiful appartment in a perfect location"
I stayed here with 4 friends for a long weekend and didn't want to leave! The appartment is beautifully maintained and catered to our every need. The communal pool area is in a wonderful spot admist a well landscaped garden - perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying a refreshing swim. The balconies provided great locations for breakfast, lunch and evening drinks. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax in a beautiful environment but with the comfort of all mod cons at hand. That's in addition to the great weather and attractions nearby - not to mention the many places to eat and drink in the harbour.
We are very pleased that you enjoyed the apartment and look forward to hearing from you again soon

We have just returned to the UK after spending a wonderful 2 weeks in your apartment at Monte Halcones.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well equipped with all the latest "mod cons" and Bernard, the host, could not have been more helpful.
We are already missing the weather, which was warm and sunny every day and the stunning views from the balcony.
The apartment is ideal for families, couples and golfers (apparently there are over 50 golf courses from Gibraltar to Marbella). We particularly enjoyed the walk along the San Pedro beach front every day.
Hopefully, we will be back later in the year.

"Lovely apartment, would recommend to others."
The apartment was lovely with all mod cons. It was great to spend time by the pool - the other residents(mostly owner-occupiers) were very friendly & welcoming. Pleasant location, convenient for supermarkets etc. Parking spaces were at a premium but we did always manage to find a space somewhere. Good service from the resort host and owners. Would recommend to others.
Thank you for spending time to post a review. We are pleased that you enjoyed staying at our apartment and look forward to hearing from you again int he future.
