ANDALUCIA DEL MAR is a beachfront complex set in well kept gardens which run down to the beach with 2 pools.This 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms apartment is situated on the 1st floor and has sea view across the gardens from the 3 terraces which give sunshine all through the day. Each apartment has a parking space in the underground garage and there is additional parking at the entrance to the complex where the 24-hour security guard is located
From the main pool area, you have direct access to the beach with its many beach restaurants with sun chairs & sun shades to hire. Puerto Banus is within 300m, an easy walk, along either the beach promenade or past Playas del Duque. In Puerto Banus you are close to the many restaurants, shops, bars & there is even a cinema complex. Adjacent to Andalucia del Mar you will find a spa & gym with swimming pool, saunas, Turkish baths, Jacuzzis, keep fit classes as well as beauty treatment salon. It can be joined at a daily rate or for longer periods. The Ocean Club open during the summer months is the brand new indulgent beach plaza located directly by the beach outside Andalucia del Mar gardens. Here you will find large leather sunbeds surrounding a large swimming pool accompanied by massage parlours. Not to be missed.
In the area are a number of very good butchers and fishmongers as well as speciality breadshops. In the nearby San Pedro you will find a large number of excellent restaurants and there are masses of golfcourses within 10 minutes by car as well as tennis courts,
The excellent department store El Corte Ingles is in Puerto Banus wthin easy walking distance from Andalucia del Mar offers superb shopping and a well stocked supermarket also selling electric goods. Every Saturday you can visit the colourful Market which runs up to Puerto Banus bullring with a wide choice of stalls selling everything from saffron to clothes.

The Costa del Sol region


In the Puerto Banus and Marbella area there are numerous golf courses as well as tennis clubs and many health and gym centres. In a little more than 2 hours you can ski in the Sierra Nevada. Within about 2 hours you can drive to Granada, Cordoba, Rhonda, Jerez, Cadiz, Seville or Gibraltar.
If you need to hire a car while you are in Marbella for golf trips or to go on excursions to the many attractive and interesting places or to be waiting for you at the airport when you arrive please please note that we can arrange the car hire for you. All we need to do this are your flight arrival details. We can also arrange green fees at a reduced rate on most of the major golf courses.
The Puerto Banus area
The proximity of Puerto Banus and shops makes it a popular spot and in spite of being so close to all the action, Andalucia del Mar is a really pleasant and quiet place, set in beautiful and well kept gardens.
Andalucia del Mar is within 35 minutes drive from Sotto Grande where the Ryder Cup competition took place in 1997. There are numerous golf courses within minutes of Puerto Banus and at most 35-40 minutes away. With the many excellent golf courses on the Costa, the good news for this year is that we can arrange for golf discounts on most of these golf courses in the area.

We can arrange car hire with a car hire company we have worked with for many years, They deliver the car to Malaga airport and you can return the car to the airport when you return to the UK. They can also collect from the airport should you not wish to hire a car for your stay. Payment is made directly to the car hire company in Spain and can be made by credit card. No deposit required. The cars are parked at the airport reducing the time it will take for the hand over of the car. When booking the car I will need your flight arrival details.

We have spent three years at this apartment ( it would have been four but the slot was already booked last year. I cannot recommend the apartment highly enough. It is on a corner position giving a choice of two balconies depending where the sun is, so all day sun here. It is fitted out to the highest standard, with three ensuite twin bedrooms, plenty of cupboard space, air-con throughout the apartment. It also has a fitted modern kitchen with all utensils to cook from a frugal breakfast to any kind of full cuisine. The spacious livingroom has two settees and a full dining room table and chairs.Not to mention a large flatscreen with all the channels if one wants to stay in.The location is about five to ten minutes from Puerto Banus harbour. It has within the gated complex a swimming pool andother outdoor amenities, and it is accessable to the beach. To summerize we cannot find any fault with this appartment and the owner is a very nice lady and is totally helpful. We shall certainly return next year |
