The Costa del Sol region
The Costa del Sol renowned for its micro climate and all year round sunshine is not only famous for it sandy beaches and many coastal resorts such as Nerja, Fuingerola, Marbella, Puerto Banus, San Pedro and Estepona, but also for its beautiful countryside and Pueblo Blanco's (white villages) such as Mijas, Benehavis, Ojen, Monda and Casares. Rhonda with its break taking views and Granada which is home to the Alhambra Palace are also within easy access.
The Puerto Banus area
The apartment is 15 mins walk from the beach and sophisticated port of Puerto Banus and 10 mins drive from Marbella town centre.
PUERTO BANUS - is famous for being home to the rich and famous who moor their magnificient yachts in its stylish marina. The marina has plenty of bars, restaruants and shopping and is great for boat, car and poeple watching - the nightlife is lively and goes on till dawn.
There are beautiful beaches both sides of the marina, with sun beds for hire, beach bars and toilet facilities. There is a lovely beach side walk between Puerto Banus and Marbella known as Spains Golden Mile (takes about 1.5 hours)
MARBELLA - town is also great for shopping and tends to be less expensive than Puerto Banus with the nightlife having a more relaxed atmosphere. There are plenty of bars and restaruants along the promenade over looking the sea and in orange square (The old town) which is full of narrow cobbled stoned streets. For those who wish to samle the traditional atmosphere of Spanish life there are many tapas bars on the streets behind the beach front. Marbella has a beautiful long sandy beach with sun beds for hire, many beach bars and a paved promenade which is wheelchair friendly.

We have had the pleasure to stay in this fabulous apartment for 2 separate holidays and we intend to revisit this year also! Nestled in the most tranquil and picturesque of resorts, this well appointed apartment has absolutely everything required to ensure that your holiday is as memorable and enjoyable as possible. The roof top sun terrace is a veritable sun trap and is perfect for basking in the spanish sun! Every mod con is available and the attentive owner has even included an extensive DVD library and iPod - complete with docking station. Wi Fi is fully accessible also. The apartment is decorated to the highest possible standard with the finest of furnishings and fittings throughout. It has full air con also, perfect for balmy summer evenings. Within the resort you have your own pool, there's a supermarket, bar & resturant all located within impeccably manicured and maintained surroundings. The resort of Puerto Banus with its sun drenched beaches, shopping & vast selection of restaurants is within walking distance. We thoroughly recommend this apartment, it is spacious, comfortable and without doubt a sunshine home from home! |
