Home description

The property is a luxury 2 bedrooms, 2-bathroom apartment on the ground floor with front door leading onto the swimming pool and the beautiful award winning gardens, which are admired and enjoyed by occupants and visitors alike. The large patio with table and selection of seating leads on to a garden area with a slow moving stream giving it a very private situation.
The apartment has air-conditioning and warm-air central heating controlled by a single switch throughout the whole apartment. It sleeps four in the two twin bedrooms both with full en-suite facilities and sliding doors opening on to a patio area. The lounge/dining room is approx. 28 feet by 13 feet with sliding doors to the terrace, one side of the room being totally mirrored giving an impression of much wider open space. Dining is on a glass-topped table with four cane seats. The lounge area has a 3-seated settee with occasional chairs and tables, and T.V. Video and DVD player + Music C.D. centre. We receive via satellite BBC1, 2 ,3 ITV 1, Ch4 & 5 BBC News 24 Sky News and 22 other European channels. The kitchen has an electric ceramic hob and under oven, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave oven, plus the usual smaller electric items,- toaster, kettle, iron and vacuum. Crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots and pans are all in supplied. The patio extends along the whole apartment with 6 chairs and table along with two sun loungers. The development has just completed a new indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and exercise facilities, which are available to people renting the apartment. A small fee is payable for the use of these facilities. During high season a small charge will be made for use of sun loungers at the pool side

The Costa del Sol/Malaga region

PUERTO BANUS..........One of the world’s most famous harbours, provides sophisticated dining along with live entertainment and discos. The many attractions of Puerto Banus are only 200m from La Alcazaba. Cafes and bars, restaurants and boutiques cluster around the 1200-berth marina, built in the pueblo-style in the mid 1970 and’80’s It is a place with a constant buzz from mid-morning until the early hours. If this sounds too hectic for you – you can quickly retire to your air-conditioned peace and tranquillity of 18-11 La Alcazaba for an interrupted 40 winks. Only a short distances but just out of range of the midnight revellers. The complex is patrolled 24 hrs.and the reception never closes

LA ALCAZABA From the Moorish word meaning THE CASTLE-it was designed by a well known Andalucian architect, Melvin Villaroe..and built by a local family builder. It comprises 187 individual apartments with between one and 5 bedrooms and covers an area of 35 000 sq.meters. A major feature of the development is the award winning gardens with up to 350 palm trees also an estimated in excess of 80 varieties of shrubs and plants. The complex is home to Trader Vic’s restaurant (world renown Polynesian cuisine) (a must) and Tonga bar which will make your favourite cocktails, which open from 12 noon until late. Also there is a family run pool bar where you can order a variety of lunchtime meals. The pool bar opens from Easter until end of October but this may vary.
