The Costa del Sol/Malaga region
Puerto Banus is the jewel in the crown of the costa. Marbella's Micro climate makes it a year round resort, wonderfully hot in summer and pleasantly mild in winter.
Based centrally in Banus you will not need a car. But if you wish to explore further, within comfortable driving distance you can make excursions to Seville, Cordoba and Granada with the Alhambra palace, the famous white villages, or visit Gibraltar. Marbella is a short drive away for more shopping, restaurants and picturesque Marbella Old Town. In Malaga you can visit the Moorish Gibralfaro Castle and Picasso Museum. The Costa del Sol has several theme, safari and aqua parks and boasts golf courses in abundance. Morocco is a 20 min ferry ride away from Algeciras. Skiing is only 2 hours drive away in the Sierra Nevada.
Puerto Banus / Puerto Banus Centre area
From your front door you step directly into the narrow white lanes of the port. You are in the actual centre so there are no big roads to cross! Within a few steps, you will find a wealth of quality restaurants, cafes and bars to cater for every taste. ‘El Corte Ingles’ department store & hypermarket, designer boutiques, sandy beaches, swimming pool, tennis courts, gyms, cinema (english language on certain days), and children’s playground, are in the immediate vicinity. Catamaran trips depart from the marina. The Saturday market and the casino are also within walking distance. Or why not spend an evening on your private balcony, watching life on the plaza unfold and the sun set over the mountains?
Situated at the entrance ‘Golf Valley’ the Marbella area and The Costa del Sol offers near 30 golf courses incl. the Ryder Cup course Valderama. The apartment is ideally located for those who wish to enjoy the best golf facilities whilst savouring the amenities, beach and nightlife of buzzing Puerto Banus.
How to get there
Fly to Malaga, then by hire car, taxi, or our representative can arrange pick up-transfer at a favourable price. Coach to Marbella and then a taxi is the budget solution. Puerto Banus is located just west of Marbella.
Other airports a little bit further away, but sometimes cheaper to fly to: Jerez, Granada, Gibraltar.
On arrival in Puerto Banus you will be met by our English speaking representative, who will welcome you in to the apartment and be on call if needed.
