Accommodation:

Our house is one of 49 situated on the private development of El Palmeral, a short distance from the popular and exclusive resort of Puerto Banus. The property includes spacious dining and living areas, a.fully equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms, Private lounge terrace includes a table and four comfortable chairs along with a bench set for 3. Main bedroom terrace also includes small table and 2 chairs. The lovely roof top garden has a dining table to seat 6 with parasol, 2 sun loungers, shower, fridge, sink and BBQ. August 2014 newly upgraded air conditioning system through out the villa.

Pool and Facilities:

The secure main gardens contain two large pools, free sun loungers, a small gymnasium with his/her saunas, a heated jacuzzi pool and plenty of space for the children to play. Wifi Access available at pool area . There is also table tennis near the pool area.

Local Amenities:

Within 5 minutes walk is a convenience store, super market, restaurants and bars. Kids sports club, golf courses, tennis and bowls are all available on your door step. Wider a field but all within 40 minutes drive are a selection of activities, zoos, water parks, wild life parks, Tivoli fun park, cable car ride, go-karting, safari trips and much more. Tennis Courts just 3 mins walk from the house. Euro 15 per hour, special price from Tennis Brothers.

Alternatively, browse the exclusive shops of Marbella Old Town or stroll through the summertime tented stalls of the main square in Puerto Banus which includes carnival rides for the younger members of your party.

Distance

One mile to the millionaire playground of Puerto Banus, with its selection of bars, restaurants and night life, where palm trees line the promenade and you might spot a famous face or two.

Ten minutes by car to the Old Town of Marbella an old, white walled town enclosing Orange Square, surrounded by narrow lanes of exclusive shops, where you can sip fresh orange juice or chocolate and churros or eat in one of the many restaurants, whilst watching the world go by.

Typical white villages of Spain such as Ronda, Casares, and Istan are all within a short drive through some of the most spectacular and breathtaking hill and mountain scenery, whilst the oldest, Mijas, is only a 30 minute drive away. The pretty village of Benahavis, which has some of the best restaurants on the Costa del Sol, is just 15 minutes by car. On your way there you will pass through a delightful gorge, woodland and mountain streams.

Drive just one hour to Gibraltar and experience its living history, its beautiful caves, the Rock and its amazing tunnel system and of course the Apes.

There are aqua parks, sea-life centres, boat trips, water sports, cable car rides and markets nearby. Other must visit locations are the fabulous Tivoli World Fun Park, AquaLand and the magnificent Fuengerola Zoo. Not to be missed is the famous market at Puerto Banus Bullring every Saturday morning brimming with bargains.

Probably the most famous part of the area is the "Golden Mile" where luxury yachts are moored at the Puerto Banus Marina.

With over three hundred days of sunshine each year the Costa del Sol benefits from exceptionally good Mediterranean weather, with average summer temperatures exceeding 25 degrees and winter temperatures of 17 degrees or more. The coastline, full of natural splendour, and various 'blue flag' beaches, range from huge expanses of golden sand to hidden coves with secluded beaches. The majority of the beaches feature small open-air bars and restaurants, where you can sample a fine selection of food including fresh fish.

Andalucia, Spain's most southerly region is the size of Portugal, with remarkable contrasts including snow skiing in the Sierra Nevada mountain range near to Granada in winter months, while sunbathing down on the coast!

Further details

A booking deposit of 20% or Euro300, whichever is the greater, is required for all bookings. This is not refundable in the case of cancellation. The balance plus a 300 euros breakage/key deposit is required 6 weeks prior to arrival. The deposit is refunded after you have returned the keys and we have confirmation that there is no damage or losses. For the avoidance of doubt, failure to return all keys will result in the lost of your breakage/key deposit.

Keys and directions to the house will be dispatched within 2 weeks prior to your planned arrival.

Changeover day:

Flexible, subject to availability. Must vacate house by 10.30am on day of departure and arrivals no earlier than 4.00pm other than by prior agreement.

There has been recent changes in Spain regarding free to air T.V. station, so there are very few English stations now to watch. You could bring your own Sky Card if you have one. I can not promise it will work, but you could try. We do have DVD's to watch.

N.B. If you wish to pay by PayPal they charge 3.4% for use of the service which will be added to your bill - you also have the option to pay direct into our Bank Account with no extra cost to you.

The Andalucia region

Coast/Beach:

Selection of sandy beaches within 20 minutes on foot. Each contains safe swimming, sun loungers and parasols at very reasonable daily rates, water sports and a selection of beach restaurants with waiter service to the beach.

Alternative drive for ten minutes to Funny Beach and enjoy a beautiful long sandy beach with all the facilities you will need for a fun-filled day in the sun including go-carting, trampoline, massage and a huge array of activities and water sports for all ages.

Golf:

At least 25 golf courses are in the surrounding area including Aloha, Las Brisas, Los Naranjas, Dame de Noche and the picturesque par 3 Monte Paraiso all within 5 minutes drive. All are of a very good standard. The long hours of sunshine that the Costa del Sol receives has established the region as a firm favourite for holidaymakers and golfing enthusiasts of all ages. "El Palmeral - Kieran & Evior White - Nice People, Nice Location"

This was an pleasant experience from the moment we booked it. Kieran & Evior were extremely helpful from the outset. The apartment/house is situated in a quiet suburb about a ten minute walk from the main town & harbour area. The three storey town house, with roof terrace offered us all we require,d for a good relaxing & sunny holiday, while being close to convenience stores and local bars and restaurants. Puerta Banus is a beautiful environment offering all that a holidaymaker could require. We will look forward to hopefully visiting while Kieran & Evior in the near future.

"Great location and relaxing"

I came to stay at El Palmeral with a group of girlfriends for a week at the start of July 2014. We wanted to be close enough to Puerto Banus for nightlife but far enough away so we could relax in the day. El Palmeral is ideally located a short walk or taxi (5/7euros) into the town so was ideal. There is a choice of 2 pools shared between a few villas, and even as a group of 7 girls we never seemed to be crowded with other guests. The villa is roomy, has air con and fans and a great roof terrace that catches the last of the days sun and provides a great space for a BBQ. Short walk away is a supermarket where we stocked up on a daily basis and even made use of a local pizza takeaway one night. Really enjoyed our stay here and had a great holiday. Evior was super helpful in the running up to the holiday and efficient with sending keys and info packs.

"Perfect location, wonderful pool and gardens, great house"

This house is on a lovely complex of only 47 houses.Having stayed on the complex before, we already knew the area. The house was very clean and had everything you needed.The roof terrace at the top was great for sunbathing, eating and generally relaxing and was one of the great parts of this house, It was not overlooked by anyone.There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a couple of supermarkets within walking distance. Puerto Banus was a 15 minute walk or 3 minutes in the car. Having three young adults with us,the only small downside was the wifi, which only worked if you were sitting by the pool or in the grounds. It was virtually impossible to get wifi in the house or on the terrace, so not really worth taking your laptop!! Overall this house is in the perfect location wher you have the best of both worlds - peace and quiet by the pool and the hustle and bustle of Banus only 5 minutes away.
