Bi-folding patio doors alongside the dining room (table and chairs for 6) area open up to the Courtyard area. Bed linen and towels provided. Towels for the pool also included. 50" built in HD television in the lounge and 32" LCD in the master bedroom with sky satellite - bring your own sky card to access (basic free digital channels) and music centre. New kitchen with open breakfast bar area, views of terrace. All bedrooms air conditioning, lounge has ceiling fans.

Nueva Andalucia is an attractive area west of Marbella only five minute drive to Puerto Banus that accommodates Marbella’s one and only Casino. The apartment is front line to the Las Brisas golf course, with a variety of additional golf courses close by, Los Naranjos (2 min walk), Aloha Golf (5 min drive). International restaurants, supermarkets, shops, banks and a chemist.
The Puerto Banus / Nueva Andalucia Golf Valley area
Puerto Banus is only two kilometres from the apartment (10 mins drive, 40 mins walk) and has a wonderful beach, which stretches towards Marbella, perfect for a stroll along its promenade. In the summer months, bullfights take place in the local bullring which is 1,5 kilometers away and is also host to excellent concerts from international bands. Along side Andalucia Plaza where you will find the Saturday morning weekly market. From there you can walk down to the yacht harbour of Puerto Banus where you will find an amazing choice of designer shops and restaurants that turn into a buzzing night life area in the late evenings. The town of Marbella is a 12 kilometres drive, passing through the "Golden Mile" with more exquisite restaurants and beach bars locally called Chiringuitos. Visit the famous "Orange Square" steeped in history.

From Malaga International Airport by car is mainly by motorway (Toll Road), very straightforward and takes approx 45 minutes. (Full driving directions to the apartment from the airport are available on request or with booking confirmation, together with advice on flights & car hire).

Spent two wonderful weeks at Casa De Gillianos with my husband and our 3 children, aged 13, 10 and 5. We had a wonderful summer family holiday, in this spacious villa. All 5 of us enjoyed hours of fun in the pool, which is a perfect size and depth for all ages and swimming abillities. None of us wanted to come home!!!! Casa de Gillianos is a beautiful spacious home with a fantastic view of La Concha mountain and the valley down towards Puerto Banus. The bedrooms are well sized and comfortable. The master bedroom en-suite is excellently finished with a huge walk-in shower. Just watch the hot water capacity of the boiler; after two showers the water is cold. The garden and pool are lovely, however the pool is quite deep for most of its length. Sun loungers can be used in the garden but must be moved to the bottom of the steps from the appartment when you've finished for the day - a bit of a pain. You also have to carry them down the steps at the start of your stay and back up at the end. The owners, Ian and Gillian, were easily contactable and very helpful. A car is essential. Free parking in Puerto Banus town is difficult; watch you don't park in a Taxi rank or spaces reserved for appartments etc, as the police will be called and your car towed away. There is a huge underground car park in the town centre, however you will typically pay 6 to 10 euros per stay. Dinner at Magna Marbella golf club is pricey but fantastic. Payment for the appartment directly into the owner's bank account did worry me but worked out fine. Deposit was returned to our account no problem. |
