The Costa del Sol region

This part of Spain has a mini climate of its own that makes the area very attractive throughout the year, with temperatures of around 13 degrees Celsius in January rising to 31 degrees Celsuis in August.
Andalucia is a fascinating area to visit and captures the spirit of Spain, itself a vibrant place with a diverse culture and history of Moorish influence, architectural splendour as well as amazing landscapes.
Fortunately, since the early tourist development in the 60's, the Costa del Sol has matured into a region full of variety: good food, fascinating historical sites, beautiful natural parks, exciting fiestas and market days out. Places to visit, include, the City of Ronda, the Palaces at La Alhambra, Granda, the City and Cathedral in Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar and boat trips can be arranged to Morocco as well.
Finally, Malaga, the capital of the Costa and Spain's third largest city is a must-see. This is a short journey outside the international airport and it is a cultural and cosmopolitan centre providing a good day's discovery in its shaded streets that combine an air of a bygone era with the excitment of the new.
We provide maps, an AA guide and full information pack before departure.
The Puerto Banus / El Paraiso, Puerto Banus area
Marbella is the largest, closest town and the population is made up of around 75% of local Spanish and the other 25% consists of approximately 34 nationalities. Many people speak English so it is easy to get about and also to visit the "Old Town" and 'tapas' bars. Marbella's old quarter is a delightful place to stroll with its flower-filled streets, neat houses and small squares and one can still see evidence of the Moorish, Christian and Roman past in the remaining buildings.
Not far from the villa is the world famous town of Puerto Banus, and this has a marina, leading designer shops, excellent night life, a string of cafes, bars and restaurants around the port as well as a market on Saturday mornings and this place still rates as a star attraction in the area.
The town of San Pedro is only a few minutes from Villa Andaluz and besides having an excellent tourist information centre it also has a large market on a Thursday. This town has saved its orginal atmosphere of a typical Andalucian village and offers every visitor the chance to participate in the every day life of the natives.
A few miles from the villa towards Gibraltar is the town of Estepona. Here, the Puerto Deportivo (Sports Harbour) provides a contrast with the old town and it is a charming place on the Costa del Sol. In this neighbourhood you will find several bars, coffees, tapas bars and shops as well as restaurants and quite exclusive gastronomy and there are also markets on a Wednesday and a Sunday.
Villa Andaluz itself is situated in El Paraiso which is ideal as it is on the coast and the Spanish countryside is only a short 10 minute drive away. About an hour by car is Ronda, which is one of Spain's oldest cities. Situated within a rugged landscape, Ronda offers dramatic and contrasting views of this landscape and the City, itself with a long and interesting history.
The Costa del Sol has something for everyone; there are places to go to and to join a fiesta, to play tennis, golf, to try out a new water sport to walk in beautiful parks and along the side of lakes, to visit places of cultural interest, theme and water parks or just to relax on the beach or in a restaurant and watch the world go bye.
We provide maps, an AA guide and full information pack before departure and enjoy helping our guests locate the things that interest them before they make the journey to a place that has more or less everything to offer.
