The Costa del Sol region

With an average of over 320 days of sun a year, your luck will need to be fairly bad to plan a stay here and not see the sun.

However, there is much more to do in Andalucia than just sit on the beach, even though that is not a bad way to pass a holiday if you want.

Puerto Banus

Located just west of Marbella, before the small town of San Pedro de Alcantara directly opposite The famous Marina Port of Puerto Banus. The setting is close to ideal, with its impressive mountain backdrop and ocean views. The locality includes everything you might want and desire including the Beach, Best restaurants, Cinemas, Designer Shopping, endless Night life and a chance to sample and enjoy a jet-set lifestyle.

This is the place to be pampered yacht side and ogle those fabulous luxury yachts while sipping a drink at one of the many open air restaurants and bars. Night-life buzzes with your choice of alfresco bars, piano clubs, a casino and discos while during the day this is a window shopper's dream with several of the world renowned fashions houses featured here, in addition to small, interesting shops and boutiques, commercial shopping centre, a Corte Ingles department store and a multi film cinema.

The nearest beach to Playa Rodeo holds a European blue flag.

"Ripped off"

Was quoted a rental figure we were happy to pay then on our return the 'refundable' breakages deposit was not forthcoming. When it was repaid (after several emails and phone calls) they had deducted an additional cleaning and utility cost that was not published prior to our trip. They claim its part of their T&C's but never informed us before we travelled. The communication with the owner was always difficult and when we arrived the keys were not left where they said they'd be. This meant standing outside at gone midnight until someone came to the house.
The house itself is ok but in the middle of nowhere and is a 15 minute walk to the nearest bar and at least a 45 minute walk into the port. If you think you're renting a property in Puerto Banus you are not. I have stayed a nicer properties closer to the town for less money and dealt with far more professional agents.

This review is invalid and must relate to a different apartment/property managed/owned by other entities..
