Nestled in the far corner away from the hustle and bustle of the pool is a very spacious well appointed 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (sleeps 5) top floor corner apartment with a large terrace overlooking the treetops. The apartment has just undergone a major upgrade in 2012.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms both en suite and will comfortably sleep 4 and at a slight push 5. The master bedroom has a king size bed, ample cupboard space, a safe, en suite bathroom and doors onto the large sunny terrace. The second bedroom has twin bed plus a small sofa bed, a small balcony, plenty of cupboards, a DVD machine and en suite shower room.
Floor surfaces throughout the apartment are marble except for the kitchen.
The Moroccan style, huge living room has fabulous art from around the world, comfortable "squashy "sofas for 6, a romantic indoor dining area and ample supply of books, DVDs and board games. A wireless internet connection has been installed for those who just have to keep in touch! The outdoor terrace is a sun trap, has breath taking views over the tropical gardens, there is an outdoor dining area for 6, an electric BBQ and seriously soporific sun lounger!
The flat has a large fully fitted kitchen with microwave, ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The laundry room includes both a washing machine and drier.

Every apartment in the Alcazaba development is unique, but some are more unique than others, in particular our Treetops apartment. Situated on the top floor in the far corner, it offers a tranquil and spectacular treetop view of the gardens.
There are 4 interconnecting pools, one for small children. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas surround the pools (local charge during the summer months) There is an indoor health club, with a small heated pool, sauna and gym (local charge) 2 pool side restaurants, one a Spanish owned cafe, is open from March-October during the day, the other is the world renowned Trader Vics is open every evening.

The Costa del Sol region
With 320 days of sunshine on average each year, it is little wonder that Marbella / Puerto Banus has become such as attractive holiday destination. It certainly makes a change from the dismal English weather, which of course we all love.
There are stretches of clean sandy beaches where you can relax and soak up the sun, or for the more adventurous you can of course always try your hand at a watersport. At night the area comes alive with a thriving and fun entertainment scene.
The Puerto Banus / La Alcazaba area

Puerto Banus boasts just about every type of clothes shop you can think of, from top of the range designers to the more humdrum. If you can't find what you are looking for, there is always Corte Ingles. A 5 minute walk away is Spain’s equivalent to Selfridges. Everything under the sun, including a supermarket the size of two football pitches, with its wet fish, meat, fresh vegetable section, delicatessen, bakery.... the list goes on and on, and if you don't feel like hauling your shopping back to the flat, don't worry there are plenty of taxis available for about £3-4.

What sets The Alcazaba Development apart from all others on the coast, apart from it having the oldest and most established gardens, is its proximity to everything. In the last 15 years of going to Alcazaba, I have never had to hire a car. This is probably because I am one of those lazy types who spends most of his time either lolling by the pool, walking on the beach, or in the Port, all of which are a few minutes walk from the apartment.
The apartment is around 4 minutes' walk to the beach and adajacent to a tennis club.

Malaga International Airport is easily accessible from most parts of the UK and Europe, with all major and most Low Cost airlines offering numerous daily flights to this destination from as low as £49.
Some of the low cost airlines that fly there are as follows: Flybe, Easyjet, Monarch.
Puerto Banus is less than 40 minutes by car from Malaga International Airport or one hour from Gibraltar Airport
We have a very friendly English driver who would be more than delighted to pick you up, and will gladly give you a running commentary to while away your journey.
Most airlines now offer a car hire service at the time of booking.

All in all this is without a doubt a 5 Star accommodation.
I travelled to Puerto Banus with My Wife and 3 children (2 Boys- 6&4 and a 18 month year old baby). I researched long and hard to find just the right accommodation, location & amenities etc. This property definitely delivered and some.
Lovely service, the owners were very helpful and provided a prompt, secure and easy process. The Apartment is walking distance from the wonderful harbour/Seafront and all the shops/bars/amenities. There is WIFI, TV's/DVD's etc, the Kitchen is fabulous (very high standard). The apartment is very spacious and feels like a "home from home", everything You would and need for your holiday. The complex is very secure and the gardens/pools are great.

No car needed only very short stroll to beach and centre. We particularly liked the Mistral bar, Pedro's bar and the Aurora bar. Everything you need is minutes away. The walk along the coast in both directions to Marbella or San Pedro is well worth doing. Reception staff extremely helpful and friendly if you need any advice.

Lovely week in January in Spain, weather mainly good. Absolutely stunning apartment. I loved the Spanish style mixed in with luxury. You can tell that the owners have put their heart into it, with all the little finishing touches. V. Comfortable beds, slept like a baby. V. spacious, amazing art and general decor. Loved it, wish I could live there !!!
Loved the well appointed kitchen with juicer, coffee machine, water filter, and Welcome Pack with wine and biscuits, really nice touch when we'd just got there and felt like we'd been journeying forever, so needed a nice cuppa.
Gardens are beautiful and massive, lots of space to explore. 5 minutes walk to Puerto Banus. I couldn't of prepared myself for the wealth I was about to see...it was like another world!! The yachts, restaurants, shops!!!
Looking forward to going back hopefully next year, already started saving my pennies.
