The MASTER BEDROOM features a king-size bed, along with bedside drawers, a dressing-table and hairdryer, in addition to a connected dressing-area with extensive wardrobes, a built-in safe and the en-suite bathroom facilities, where you will find twin wash-basins, a bath with shower, leading to a w.c. and bidet. This bedroom also has double patio-doors leading onto a generous and secluded balcony.The SECOND BEDROOM has two single beds and also has a patio-door opening onto a smaller balcony, overlooking the duck pond. This bedroom also has bedside drawers, hairdryer and extensive built-in wardrobe-space. The second bedroom is next door to the house bathroom, having twin-basins, a large walk-in shower and w.c.The spacious open-plan LOUNGE AREA has two large sofas and incorporates the dining area alongside. There is a 42" plasma TV with Sky satellite having English channels in addition to a DVD player and a CD player and i pod/MP3 docking station. Our own mixed collection of DVDs and CDs is available for your use.Double patio-doors lead from the lounge onto the spacious and secluded BALCONY, with comfy chairs and a coffee table for relaxing, along with a six-seat table & chairs for alfresco dining. This large balcony offers beautiful views of the tropical gardens, ponds and also glimpses of the top pool.The main internal DINING AREA, close to the kitchen, has a dining table and chairs to seat six, alongside a relaxing area with a double leather sofa-bed to accommodate additional guests.The fully-fitted KITCHEN, with solid granite worktops, offers all the usual modern appliances found in a superior property. These include a ceramic hob, oven and microwave, along with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, toaster and kettle. There is sufficient crockery, cutlery, tableware and glassware for six guests.The apartment also has a separate UTILITY ROOM with a sink, washing machine, large dryer, iron & ironing board.

With two generous balconies, you have lots of private outdoor space to lounge, eat or drink, but the Menara Beach area has many acres of both planted and open parkland to explore and enjoy within its own boundaries. All the pathways through the gardens feature slopes rather than steps, making progress easy for those with pushchairs or any mobility issues.From its tropical gardens with several rippling steams running through tastefully planted ponds, there are wonderful views, over the pools, to the sea and Gibraltar beyond. There are two communal outdoor pools, one of which .features a refreshing waterfall, and both pools have wide areas of sunbathing space and plenty of free sun-beds available for your use.If you need a little shade, next to the gym you will find a covered area with tables and chairs where you can enjoy soft drinks and snacks from a vending machine or have a fun game of table tennis, the ideal place to relax in the cool.

The Costa del Sol region
Located on the southern half of the Costa Del Sol, between Malaga and Gibraltar, a mild micro-climate prevails throughout the year. The slopes of the Sierra Blanca mountains give the region a warm summer and a mild winter. During the summer the average temperature is 30 centigrade, and temperatures in January are around 16 centigrade. With up to 320 days of sunshine a year, this is an ideal climate in which to enjoy the outdoor life.
Apart from all kinds of water sports, from sailing and windsurfing to deep-sea fishing, the wide variety of recreational activities available include golf, tennis, horse-riding and hiking.
Menara Beach offers easy access to the main coastal road, which leads to the beautiful Costa Del Sol and further inland to ANDALUSIA, with many pretty Spanish rural villages and the major towns of Ronda and Granada.
Alternatively you may wish to visit GIBRALTAR, where you can make use of tax-free shopping or take a cable-car up the Rock to visit the famous apes. You could also take a hydrofoil trip to MOROCCO from Algeciras or Gibraltar.
TIVOLI WORLD is the Costa Del Sol's biggest amusement park and is situated just 2km from Benalmadena. There are over 24 thrilling rides to choose from, as well as restaurants, bars and a programme of Spanish entertainment. Tivoli World is a great place for all the family with plenty of smaller rides also for the younger children.
Also near to Tivoli World is SEA WORLD. This park offers a wide variety of marine animals from dolphin shows to sea-lion performances in a large outdoor theatre. You can also stroll around the park looking at many other types of animals, watch the funny penguins or feed the fish in the outdoor aquaria. Good fun for all the family.
AQUAPARK TORREMOLINOS was built in 1984 and has constantly updated its attractions. Aquapark is undoubtedly the pioneer and the largest water park on the Costa Del Sol. Aquapark covers 70,000 square metres and has many attractions for all different ages and abilities including Tropical Small Lake, Children's Water Park, Bubble Pool along with bigger slides & rides and mini golf.
In winter you can even drive up to the SIERRA NEVADA mountains in around 3 hours to enjoy some skiing at more than 3000m high.
The Puerto Banus / Menara Beach area
MENARA BEACH is uniquely situated on a quiet Mediterranean coastline, with direct access to 500m of beach right on your doorstep, part sand, part pebbles and very safe for swimming.
Alongside the apartment complex, you will find TORRE AL-MENARA, a medieval tower situated on a 30,000m2 expanse of manicured parkland which has been incorporated into the overall environment.
Less than 5 minutes stroll from the apartment is a small commercial parade, where you can enjoy a fresh coffee from the DELI and where they also serve an excellent selection of home-prepared salads, hot savoury meals, sandwiches, either to eat in or take back to the apartment. Also along this parade you will find VINCE'S which is a small supermarket providing all those "essential" English provisions and where they also have a small restaurant serving family-friendly meals.
From the lower pool area, turn left through the security-gate and stroll along the beach to HEAVEN BEACH BAR. You can just sunbathe on the beach or eat and drink in the restaurant. In the summer months there is normally a barbecue on the beach, cooking fresh fish with a good alternative selection of meat dishes and salads. The bar has regular live music played down on the beach. An excellent place to eat, drink and chill out for the afternoon, while the kids (if any) can play happily and safely on the beach.
A two-minute stroll along the promenade in the opposite direction you will find the gastronomic TIKITANO BEACH RESTAURANT. This well-renowned Michelin star restaurant offers fine dining to excite & satisfy the most sophisticated gourmet customer.
Only a 10 minute drive away, slightly inland, you will find the SELWO SAFARI/ADVENTURE PARK. It is a mix of nature, safari and adventure park and is unique in Europe. It has a huge wilderness with more than 2,000 animals from around the world such as elephants, lions and tigers, all living in semi-freedom and where you can explore either in 4x4 vehicles driven by experts or on foot using the walkways. There is also a large walk-through aviary with more than 1,000 birds. Well worth a day-trip visit.
Just a 10 minute drive along the coast you will find PUERTO BANUS, the renowned and cosmopolitan playground of the rich. Here you can stroll along the marina looking at all the luxury yachts, do a bit of shopping or pop into one of the many restaurants or cafés for lunch. Puerto Banus is busy by day but also very lively by night, with bars and nightclubs open until the early hours of the morning. From here you can also catch one of the small boat-trips which leave the harbour regularly, taking you to MARBELLA. The boat-trip takes approximately 30 minutes and you can then spend as long as you like in Marbella town before catching the boat back.
Another 10 minute drive, in the direction of Gibraltar, you can visit ESTEPONA. The main town area is still quite Spanish with little pedestrianised streets providing plenty of varied shops, restaurants & cafés. Further along the seafront you will find the marina/harbour where you can stroll along the promenade and stop for a coffee. If you visit on a Sunday there is a good Sunday market between 9am to 2pm, providing a great variety of stalls. In the port you can also book for a deep-sea fishing expedition.
And finally, of course, there’s GOLF. This is a veritable golfers paradise, with more than 50 courses within easy reach for the apartment, offering all levels of challenge from the scratching amateur right up to the scratch-handicap expert.
Although a car is not essential, one is highly recommended in order to explore the surrounding areas. However, if you don't want to drive, there is a BUS STOP within a two minute walk from the apartment, serving the surrounding towns, including Puerto Banus, Estepona and Malaga.
There is also a 24-hour registered TAXI SERVICE at the entrance to the urbanisation, next to the Deli, which is useful for short journeys or those late nights out.

The journey from Malaga International Airport by car is mainly by motorway, very straigtforward and takes approx 45 minutes. (Full driving directions to the apartment from the airport are available on request or with booking confirmation, together with advice on flights & car hire).
