About this location
The Balearic Islands region
Mallorca is increasingly popular destination because of its proximity to the UK and its wonderful summer and winter climate.
Many years ago now Puerto Andratx was the site of a small traditional Mallorcan fishing harbour, and it is around here where most of the tourist development has taken place over the last few years. Although commercial fishing is still carried out here, albeit on a very small scale, without a doubt the major feature of the town is the large new marina with provision for over 300 moorings. However, despite the recent residential development of the rugged headlands that are a feature of the coastline in the south west of Majorca, Puerto Andratx has still somehow managed to retain an authentic Majorcan feel.
Port d'Andratx is a popular, quiet, and sophisticated fishing situated on the south west tip of Mallorca. It has a famous marina with a natural port and is a magnet for yacht and boat owners world wide. It boasts some of the best restaurants on the island, with many small bars and bistros worth a visit.
A delightful place for a holiday, and a good point to tour from, if you can drag yourself away from its unique charms.
On the road to the mountains which form the backcloth for much of the south west of Majorca lies the old market town of Andratx.

"We have stayed in superb villas in many countries, this is one of the best."
This villa is beautiful. The photographs certainly do not do it justice. The garden is spacious with lots of seating and a lovely pool.
All the furniture and fittings are of excellent quality, almost new and everything worked properly.
The villa has lots of space, lots of seating areas, large lovely bedrooms and bathrooms.
Cannot recommend highly enough.

"Excellent Family Accommodation with all the comforts of home abroad and with spectacular panoramic views"
As a family we are very close and would enjoy ourselves in any situation but as a group we decided to go for an accommodation that promised something extra special and individualistic. I can categorically state that Villa Viola delivered this in abundance and from the moment that we walked in through the side door we were amazed by its style and felt instantly at home. Without to much of an explanation, 2010 was a very important year for the Bridgeman family and our vacation to Villa Viola exceeded all our expectations and made for an extremely memorable event.

"Villa Viola is a truly wonderful home"
One of the best holiday homes we have ever stayed in. The owners have made this villa their Mallorcan home, it is beautifully furnished, extremely well equipped, and the gardens are lovely.
Biggest compliment I can give the villa - We are back again this year.

"Beautiful and immaculate villa in a fantastic place. We loved it."
This is an incredible villa - immaculate and tasteful. The sun terrace was a lovely place to sit and relax if you didn't fancy laying beside the pool. Lots of tables, chairs and loungers. The BBQ was used a lot as was the table tennis table - although we did spend an awful lot of time relaxing by the swimming pool.
It's about a 10 minute walk to the centre of the town and there is a huge selection of places to eat - we particularly enjoyed Portabellos.
We will definitely return!!
