About the home

Perfectly positioned within the centre of this busy Port you can enjoy all that Puerto Andratx has to offer without even getting in a car!

Alternatively you can lie back on the large totally private terrace, get stuck into a good book, watch the yachts glide in and out of the harbour, and enjoy the sunshine. The aspect of the property is South so the sunshine can be enjoyed in both winter and summer.

For the more active the large pool, situated in well maintained gardens, is rarely busy.

This property benefits from an unusually large terrace which has space for dining, drinking, lazing and lounging. It is partially covered creating enough shade to comfortably retreat from the sun when the heat becomes too much.

Unlike many apartments in Puerto Andratx you can happily spend many days enjoying the apartment and pool without feeling the need to make a trip to the beach.

Port d'Andratx is a popular, quiet, and sophisticated fishing situated on the south west tip of Mallorca. It has a famous marina with a natural port and is a magnet for yacht and boat owners world wide. It boasts some of the best restaurants on the island, with many small bars and bistros worth a visit.

A delightful place for a holiday, and a good point to tour from, if you can drag yourself away from its unique charms.

On the road to the mountains which form the backcloth for much of the south west of Majorca lies the old market town of Andratx.

“Absolutely Fabulous” Easy to book and easy to find when you arrive in the Port. Lousie was there to meet us and kept in touch with us before departure and after our arrival at the airport. The apartment is within 5 minutes walk of the yacht club and 10 minutes of the main port. The views are spectacular from the terrace! Internally the apartment is beautifully refurbished and furnished, eveything you need is there down to an ipod Bose speaker. The apartment externally is fabulous, again everything you need is there, sun loungers, dining set, sofa and armchairs and the view is out of this world. You really would never need to leave the apartment! The owners have clearly funished it as they would were they to be staying there themselves and have left nothing undone down to the heated mirrors in the bathrooms! I have been going to this resort for over 10 years and have rented many apartments and this is the best I have had. It really is outstanding. I will definately be returning to the Marina Del Ray Penthouse.

“FABULOUS PENTHOUSE APARTMENT WITH WONDERFUL VIEWS” This beautiful apartment in Port Andratx is appointed to an extremely high standard with everything from hairdryer to ipod docking station! We were delighted with the huge terrace with sunloungers, a seating area AND covered dining area. Indoors, the air conditioning worked a treat and cooling off in the pool was great as the other residents rarely used it! The apartment is in a quiet residential area but an easy walk to the Port where there are numerous restaurants - if you feel lazy about walking back the taxi ride was under 5 euros. So delighted with the place that we are looking forward to our return visit in 2011- what better recommendation?

“first class accommodation with fantastic views” fantastic accommadation and well located Kit chen utensils perfect all Knives were sharp the kitchen was brand new Air conditioning in every room with remote the space on the terrace was fantastic you wouldn't even need to leave the apartment for your stay beaches close by 10 mins by hire car but taxis are plentiful approx 10 euros The heart of all restaurants and night life 15 mins away very pleasant walk fantastic views over the harbour at night time

“Stunning apartment in a wonderful location.” This wonderful apartment located near the yacht club in Port d' Andratx, enjoys some of the most stunning views across the port and out over the Med. Extremely spacious, and beautifully appointed the apartment is a true home away from home. The terrace is out of this world, with plenty of space, a great six seater table, and a choice of comfortable seating and sun loungers, it really is a lovely place to enjoy some outside dining. With only 12 or so apartments sharing the good size pool, it never gets crowded even when we were there in peak season. Having been lucky enough to stay in Villa Viola, which is owned by the same couple who own Marina Penthouse, I was keen to try the apartment out upon my return to Port d' Andratx. I am so glad I did. Appointed to the same extremely high standard, the apartment is an absolute pleasure to stay in. If I was to find a fault, and it's not really the fault of the apartment, if your not fit the five flights of stairs up to the apartment can be a little hard work, especially with suit cases, as unfortunately there is no lift.

“fabulous!!!!!!!” we stayed for 10 days in May 2010, we have 2 daughters, 9 and 11,we adored the apartment, the outside space especially, but the view of the port was to die for. The apartment was in a superb location, was immaculately clean, everything you could ask for, the furnishing were beautiful. What more can I say!!!

“Beautiful apartment with stunning views over the marina and town” We have stayed in this apartment on three occasions, once after the current owner bought and completely transformed it. The decor, furnishings etc are first class as are the facilities on the terrace which is huge. We have stayed in the town many times and this is by far our favourite, we would go more often if it was less expensive, it is dear for just 2 people. It is not suitable for young children as the wall of the terrace is low and the apartment is on the third floor. The stairs are steep for those are less able. Otherwise it is perfect,
