Villa Maroc is a brand new luxury villa in Protoras / Cape Greco in the beautiful Greco Mare development.
Outside it has a private swimming pool and landscaped gardens with chairs, table and sun beds for six, a gas BBQ and table tennis.
It also features a beautiful private roof terrace with spectacular views over the nearby shoreline. The owners have created a romantic Moroccan oasis. The large terrace has a shaded pergola with comfortable settees and chairs – perfect for breakfast or evening drinks or to sit and read during the day. Palms, citrus and bougainvillea provide colour and scent and at night the Moroccan lanterns create a magical atmosphere.
The villa has two double rooms (one en-suite) and one twin which includes a TV and PlayStation 2. Cool marble floors on the ground floor are complimented by comfortable leather sofas. The villa sitting room has LCD TV, satellite receiver, DVD player, Nintendo Wii, ipod/mp3 docking stations and a local mobile phone for your use.

Villa Maroc combines modern designer furnishings with authentic Moroccan accessories, and lighting providing both comfort and great style. It is fully equipped to provide everything you should need. The local satellite system provides hundreds of TV and radio channels and local TV and the Ipod / MP3 docking stations in the Sitting room and master bedroom can also be used with your laptop to play your own music.
We have provided the latest Nintendo Wii games console with two wireless controllers so you can play virtual sports such as tennis, golf or bowling and other games - If you have other favourites please bring them with you. There is a separate Playstation 2 console and TV/DVD player in the twin bedroom.
The DVD player will play both DVDs and CDs and the MP3 speakers work with any player with a standard headphone socket.
A local pay-as-you-go mobile phone is provided for guests use whilst staying in the villa.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher and washing machine and plenty of crockery, glasses and utensils.
The bedrooms are furnished in contrasting styles with designer fabrics and accessories. The linen is Egyptian cotton with anti allergy pillows and duvets. All bedrooms have air conditioning (hot and cold) and duvets are available for use in the winter.
The master bedroom has a balcony and window with sea views, a fitted wardrobe which includes a safe for valuables and a chest of draws where you will also find a hair dryer. It has its own en suite shower with WC and basin.
The 2nd bedroom is a twin room but the beds can be put together to form a double if required. It also has a large fitted wardrobe, console and mirrors, TV/DVD and PS2 console.
The 3nd bedroom on the rear of the villa also has views over the garden and field , a large fitted wardrobe, console table and mirror.
The loveley roof terrace provides both a place for private sumbathing and a shady area for relaxing in the day or evening. It has seating for six and alsso a fridge to keep your drinks cool.
Child cots and high chairs can be provided on request.

Outside the villa includes a front terrace with shading and garden around the private pool. There are six sunbeds plus dining table and chairs for six and a gas BBQ.
Villa Marocis located near the shoreline, on the Cape Greco side of Protoras. This area is only a few minutes drive to Protoras centre with its famous Fig Tree Bay beach, restaurants, bars and other attractions and five minutes to Agia Napa with its wide beaches and nightlife. Between these two towns is the beautiful unspoilt area of Cape Greco with stunning coastal views and walks.
The shoreline just across the road from the villa is popular with local fishermen and good for diving and snorkelling. The nearest beach is only three minutes walk away or a few minutes further in the other direction (or two minutes drive) is the popular Konos beach and the 5 star Grecian Park hotel, which provides a variety of water sports.
You'll find diving, excursions and scooter or buggy hire shops in Protoras and in Agia Napa there is a large water park and boat trips from the harbour. Lovely local restaurants are within walking distance or just a short drive from the villa, as are supermarkets and small bars.

The cost of the villa is fully inclusive of air conditioning etc and linen and welcome pack of food and drinks.
A high chair and child cot can be provided on request for a small additional charge of 5 Euros per day.
Conditions
The bedrooms are on the 1st floor and the terace on the 2nd floor so may not be suitable for those who want to avoid stairs.
Smoking is not allowed in the villa but is perfectly OK on the roof terrace or garden.
The Famagusta region
Famagusta is the island's most popular tourist region providing the finest beaches on the island - the most popular being Nissi Beach and Grecian Bay at Agia Napa and Fig Tree Bay in Protoras. Generally the weather through most of the year is fantastic but this part of the island being well away from any mountains is particularly reliable and virtually cloudless through most of the summer.
Apart from the larger beaches there are scores of smaller beaches and no shortage of other activities and entertainments. Cyprus of course has many historic and cultural sites, beautiful villages and a mountainous area high enough to provide winter skiing.
Activities available in this area include every variety of water sports including Scuba diving, plus walking, cycling and horse riding etc. If you stayed in this area for two or three months you would be able to visit a different restaurant every night and there is evening entertainment to suit all tastes.
The Protaras / Cape Greko area
Villa Maroc is perfectly placed to explore the Protoras and Agia Napa areas.
There is a small supermarket within walking distance of the villa and larger supermarkets on the main Protoras road and in Paralimni. The nearest beach is just a few minutes walk from the villa, along the shoreline which is very sheltered and ideal for children. A few minutes further in the other direction is the popular Konos beach, below the 5 star Grecian Park hotel, where you will find a variety of water sports. Beyond this is the scenic conservation area of Cape Greco with its famous sea caves popular with divers which also provided wonderful walks.
You'll find diving, excursions and scooter or beach buggy hire in Protoras and in Agia Napa the Water World Water Park, Luna Park funfair and boat trips from the harbour. Lovely local restaurants and bars are within walking distance or just a short drive from the villa and if you have a large party or wedding we have Villa Fotini, on the same development.
Agia Napa probably needs no introduction, with its Karaoke bars and clubs around the Square it is said that the resort never sleeps. But Agia Napa also has historic and cultural sites such as its beautiful monastery, and museum of the sea.

Villa Maroc is a brand new second line villa located on the Cape Greco side of Protoras in the high quality gated Greco Mare development.
It is 40 minutes from Larnaca Airport, two minutes drive to the centre of Protoras in one direction and two minutes to the beautiful conservation area of Cape Greco in the other, and five or six minutes to Agia Napa.
The villa is within walking distance to the Grecian Park Hotel, local restaurants and a supermarket and is an ideal location if you are attending a wedding at the hotel. We have a 2nd villa in the same development if you need two villas close to each other.

We stayed at Villa Maroc from 7th Oct '11 for a week with friends. The villa was beautiful, exceptionally fitted and the pool was fantastic and clean. When we arrived at the villa it was dark so we couldn't see the view from the roof terrace, first thing the next morning I ran up to see what view we had and it took my breath away, I had no idea we were so close to the sea, stunning location. We could walk in either direction along the coast to fabulous beaches. The local supermarket, just a few minutes walk, was perfectly adequate for day to day essentials. The villa is fitted with uk 3 pin plugs so no adapters were required. The buses run until midnight and for just a couple of euro's we could get to Agia Napa, the centre of Protaras etc. The Cave Bar at the top of the hill by the Grecian Park Hotel is very friendly, run by George, and the taverna just around the corner from this bar is fantastic. I would highly recommend this villa for its location, quality and size for larger groups, there were 6 adults staying altogether and we never felt on top of each other. The transfer and service provided by Oceanview was well worth using also. Thank you John & Wendy for a wonderful holiday. |
