About the home

Villa Marina is a new property with all that you need for that holiday in the Cyprus sun. Ideal for a quiet laze by the pool, enjoy al fresco barbecues and dining on the patio or try the golden sands at the popular Fireman's cove within a 400 metres walk. The villa is also within 5 minutes walk of a wide range of restaurants, shops and supermarket in Kapparis, an all year round town.

The county town of Paralimni is only 2km away and the resorts of Protaras/Penera within 10 minutes and vibrant Ayia Napa is within 15 minutes drive, with all their attractions and distractions. Water sports (snorkelling, diving skiing etc) within walking distance. Walk the coastal path, cycle the dedicated tracks to explore the surrounding area.

Facilities

The master bedroom has a kingsize bed with have en suite facilities and fitted cupboards. Sliding doors give access to a large balcony with views of the sea. The second bedroom has 2 large single beds, en suite shower room and fitted cupboards.

The open plan living area is light with light oak furniture and has two leather 3 seater sofas, one of which opens into a double bed, a 32" satellite TV and DVD. Sliding doors at the front lead onto a terrace and further patio doors give onto the pool and garden area.

The kitchen area is fitted with modern, fully integrated appliances and provided with all the necessary accessories including microwave, kettle and toaster.

All linen is provided. However, we ask you to provide your own beach towels for outside use.

Extra cleaning in the form of a mid-stay clean and linen change can be arranged for an additional charge if requested at the time of booking.
Air conditioning/heating is provided throughout but you are requested to use this sensibly.
For extended families or friends, the adjacent villa could be available - please ask!

Further details outdoors:
The private area at the rear has a large plunge pool with poolside shower. Dining facilities for six and a gas barbecue to prepare those delicious al fresco meals. Afterwards, stretch out in the sun on the loungers provided.
Whilst every effort has been made to provide a safe environment around the pool which is regularly cleaned, guests are reminded that children do need to be monitored and care taken not to use glasses around the pool area.

Further details

The villa is managed by a local company which can provide a number of services including hire of high chairs,
provision of a welcome pack, assistance with car hire and airport transfers. Please ask at the time of booking.

Conditions

A 25% non refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking with balance payable not less than 8 weeks prior to the booking start date. Full payment is required if booking is made within 8 weeks of start date.

A refundable breakage/damages deposit of £250 is required with all bookings and will be refunded within 2 weeks of departure and following inspection.

The Famagusta region

Southern Cyprus is famous for its warm climate; enjoying 340 days of sunshine a year, making it an all year round destination for holiday makers. Famagusta was once the main port of Cyprus and a popular resort, but after the Turkish invasion in 1974 and partition of Cyprus, it has become something of a ghost town in the Turkish sector and Paralimni has superceded it as the "county" town of the Cypriot Famagusta district and the resort areas of Aya Napa and Protaras were developed. The road through Kapparis used to be the main coastal route to Famagusta town which is only about 4 miles further east and can seen from the local zoo and elevated lookout post, a few minutes walk from the villa. The stunning Cape Greko National Park is a fifteen minute drive away.

The administrative capital, Paralimni, is a few minutes drive inland and offers a more traditional view of Cyprus with beautiful historic squares and churches and lovely bakeries, cafes and restaurants.The square is a hive of activity with both terrace bars/cafes and traditional Cypriot tavernas where the locals seek the shade and Cypriot coffees. Paralimni has a wide range of shops from Carrefour to Marks & Spencers with plenty of variety in between. Please note that Wednesday is half day closing!.

The Protaras / Kapparis area

Kapparis itself is a growing all-year-resort and has a good selection of restaurants and bars for those nights that you want to stay close to the villa. The villa is ideally located for those who want to escape and relax but are close enough to larger resorts to benefit from all that they have to offer should you want something more lively.
In addition to relaxing by your own pool or on the nearby beaches, you can enjoy a whole range of activities including exhilarating rides at the famous water park, catamaran cruises around the coast, scuba diving, snorkelling and walking and cycling along the beautiful coastal footpath which passes close to the villa and will take you to the long white sandy beaches around Protaras, including the famous Fig Tree Bay.

A car will enable you to explore lovely Konnos Bay at Cape Greko, only a short 10 to 15 minute drive away whilst Ayia Napa with its famous Nissi Beach is only 15 minutes drive away.

In addition to the lovely beaches, Protaras is a popular resort with a wide choice of restaurants, bars and shops and family entertainment including mini golf, a sea aquarium and evening entertainment at the popular Eden Square.

Larnaca which is served by Easyjet, BA, Thomson, Monarch and other airlines is just 40 minutes (65km) away by car. Coach transfers are available to and from nearby Protaras (3 miles) and private local transfers can be arranged.

“1st Class” The Villa was first class everything you needed was there.If you can hire a car from the airport then you can really enjoy yourself.The owner and the mangerment company really gave great sevice. Overall we can not speak highly of this villa.

“By the green line” Great new villa with a pool just right for 11 and 13yr old kids. Property managers really friending and helpful. Recommend going to famagusta on the Turkish side as its another world compared to developed Greek side and only a short drive. Avg 35 deg all holiday and great seas. Go to mikes and rent a boat. Went to troodos region and mt Olympus which was a great drive into the mountains and temp dropped to 25deg and even colder at night. Nice

“Great Villa, a real Home from Home.” A great villa in a good location, just a short walk to a selection of shops, bars & restaurants, and only a 5 minute drive to the lovely Protaras & Pernera. The villa is a home from home and has all the things needed for a great holiday, All day sun around the pool in a nice quite road, overlooking farmers fields to the rear. We will stay here again!

“Excellent choice” We Wasnt disappointed with our stay in this villa, we have stayed in Villas before but this one has to be the most well kept, clean and modern villa we have stayed in. Everything was catered for, and close to Kennedy Ave, for the bars and restaurants. Outside area is a good size for the villa capacity, and has BBQ and plenty of seating if you have company. Definitely will consider this Villa again for future stays in Kapparis.

“villa marina "RELAXING"” We had a great stay at Villa Marina, home from home clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool was kept immaculate. Kapparis is a quiet village with great restaurants and shops only a short walk away. We hired a car and visited other local places= Larnaca, Protaras and Ayia Napa. We would recommend this villa to friends and families.
