About the home

Anthea is situated at Cavo Greko, a quiet part of the Protaras area, yet only 5 minutes by car to the centre of Protaras and 10 minutes to Ayia Napa.

There is a small beach 5 minutes walk away and a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction will take you to the beautiful Konnos Bay. If it is just the sea you want, then it is right on your doorstep and you can walk miles of coastline and find a number of places to swim from.

This is an ideal location for walkers and nature lovers as it is close to the Cape Greko National Forest Park. A local bus service runs along the coast from Ayia Napa to Paralimni.

The Grecian Park Hotel which is so popular for weddings and special occasions is in this area; why not go and enjoy a wonderful view of Konnos to Cape Greco from their Cliff Bar?

The villa downstairs is spacious and tastefully furnished with seating for 6 people and a fully equipped kitchen area and a cloakroom. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms each with a king size bed and a balcony with a view to the sea. One bedroom has an en-suite shower room. There is also a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a bath/shower.

The property also offers free secure wi-fi access and a 32" flat screen TV.

The garden has parking and is completely fenced. There is also an outside shower and tables, chairs and sunloungers. Beach towels are also provided for all guests.

50% due 8 weeks before arrival and remainder 6 weeks before arrival.

The Famagusta region

Famagusta District is the area south of the "Line" below the town of Famagusta (which is on the Turkish side). It is renowned for its sandy beaches and crysytal clear waters. Once a farming area it is now a popular tourist area encompassing Ayia Napa, the Island's capital of night life and Protoras the quieter neighbour, although both have many restaurants and wonderful beaches.
Paralimni is the main town in the area.

The Protaras / Cape Greko area

Cavo Greko is a quiet area of Protaras, close to Cape Greko and the National Park but it also has plenty of local amenities such as restaurants, hotels and supermarkets. The beaches in this area are said to be the best in Cyprus with Konnos Bay and Mimosa beach close by. There are a number of beach activities avaliable at Konnos including parasailing, snorkelling, jet skis, pedalos and numerous fun water rides. Fishing and scuba diving are also available in the area.

BA and Cyprus Airways and Aegean run daily scheduled flights into Larnaca Airport from London Heathrow, but Monarch, Thompson/First Choice, Easy Jet also fly into Larnaca Airport from the UK; you may also find other charter flights available.

From Larnaca airport to the villa is approximately 50 minutes by car.
Cars can be hired from the airport or taxis are readily available.

This is a great villa in a quiet and secure location. The furnishings and finishes are excellent. The spacious open-plan kitchen and living area open on to the patio and pool area, which is ideal for a group or family holiday. All three bedrooms are of a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The villa was clean and very well equipped with everything that you would need in a holiday home. The location was perfect for our needs. There is a very small beach within walking distance, however a 5-10 minute drive gets you to Protaras which is renowned for one of the best beaches in Cyprus and where you will find a good selection of restaurants and bars.
We had a great holiday and I would certainly recommend this villa.

Thoroughly recommend this immaculate well equipped and well situated
villa. We spent 10 relaxing days in August with lots of plans to explore
but didnt do much as we just kept dipping in and out of the pool. There
is however plenty to see and do without going too far. Fabulous beaches
and watersports closeby and Protaras a great place to eat out of an
evening. We would definitely visit again

We have just spent a fantastic two weeks in this villa. It is modern, spacious and well equipped. We spent a lot of time relaxing around the villa and swimming pool. Penny (the owner) brought around several toys for the children to use in the pool. The nearest beach was only a four minute walk away. I would thoroughly recommend staying in this villa - we will definitely stay again.
