Villa Athena is a 1year old, privately owned luxury villa in a perfect location, just a 250 yard stroll from Fireman's cove's sandy beach, with crystal clear waters it is both stunning, safe and ideal for families.

This is an ideal villa to relax in, furnished to a very high standard gives Villa Athena a home from home feel. Fully equipped with large LCD TV with satalite 30+ Channels incl movies, DVD and IPOD Docking Station HIFI. master bedrooms come with LCD TV / DVD.
The villa benefits from its own private pool, with a shallow end perfect for children. The rear of the villa is furnished with table, chairs and a large stone BBQ enabling you to dine alfresco through the warm evenings. There is a children's grassed play area that doubles as a great sun bathing space with 6 cushioned sun beds to match.

To the front is a secure gated driveway with ample parking. The whole of the perimeter of the property is fenced providing a secure containment area for any younger children.
Obviously children should be supervised at all times and as the pool is private to the villa there is no lifeguard so children should never be left playing in or around the pool unsupervised.
Amenities are a 3 minute stroll from the villa, and the villa has easy access to all other local facilities. If not driving, you will find getting to resorts such as Ayia Napa or Protaras, stress free, as there are local taxis in abundance and the public transport runs locally to where the villa is located.
Pernera , and Protaras, are all in easy walking distance along this stunning coastline.

The Change over day is flexible, You can arrive at your accommodation after 16:00 hours on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 10:00 hours on the Departure Date. Dan and Kim are your local contacts.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking (full payment if booking within 6 weeks of the holiday start date), with the balance payable not less than 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. In addition to this, a refundable breakages/ damages deposit of £250 is required with all bookings, payable with the balance and refunded within 7 days of the end of your holiday.

The Famagusta region
Kapparis offers a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops and is ideally located just off the coast. A number of new shops including a bakery and a new cafe has been opened quite a while.
The nearest beach to the villa, Firemans Bay, is also the most well known, and if you follow the coastal path you'll discover a host of secluded bays and coves all with crystal clear water.
Kapparis is a quiet resort, yet has a great choice of restaurants and bars for those nights that you want to stay close to the villa. The villa is ideally located for those who want to escape and relax yet it is close enough to larger resorts to benefit from all that they have to offer should you want something more lively.
The long white sandy beaches at Protaras, including the famous Fig Tree Bay, are just 5 minutes away by car.
In addition to the wonderful beaches Protaras is a popular resort offering a wide choice of restaurants and bars, and family entertainment options including mini-golf, a sea aquarium and evening entertainment at the popular Eden Square.
Ayia Napa is situated just a 10 to 15 minute drive/taxi ride along the coast, and offers a wide range of options on a larger and more lively scale, including the famous Nissi Beach and Waterworld, one of the largest water parks in Europe.
The town of Paralimni is just 2 kms away and offers a more traditional view of Cyprus with beautiful historic squares and churches, lovely bakeries, cafes and restaurants, and even a Marks and Spencer!
The Protaras / Kapparis area

Kapparis is a peaceful and picturesque town with easy access to the towns of Paralimni, and the resorts of Protaras, Pernera and Ayia Napa. This quiet stunning place has supermarkets, and a number of new shops and restaurants, including a bakery, authentic Italian, 'Miami style' cafe/bar and an 'up-market' Chinese and authentic Greek, Faliros. Fireman’s Bay is the nearest beach and is 200m away that is very popular with local Cypriot families that attracts anyone to have sun-lounger rental and a kiosk selling cold drinks and hot snacks.
Paralimni is the administrative capital of the area located of 2km drive. Modern shops, banks and restaurants nestle next to the old town square boasting three churches and an attractive open air theatre. This is a good place to buy ceramics – and prices are comparatively cheaper than in the coastal resorts. Protaras is next with a 10min car or bus ride along the coast, is a lively family orientated resort benefiting from the best white sandy beaches on the island including the fabulous Fig Tree Bay. Well-stocked aquarium or splashing away in the water park will attract the kids and children to enjoy the fun filled holiday. Evening entertainment hub is the popular Eden Square. The Cape Greko headland is one among the Cyprus’ most famous conservation areas offering rocky coves, snorkeling or walks along the cliff tops and takes us to a new view of the wonderful nature. A few minutes further drive would drop you down into Ayia Napa. The town does not need an introduction but is popular for its multitude of bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Ayia Napa has wonderful beaches like Nissi.

We arrived at the villa about 11pm at night. The instructions/directions given to us by the owners were easy to follow. We stepped inside the villa and it look just like the photos, were very happy with what we saw. The villa had everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. There was plenty of room inside the villa for myself and husband. The beach was approx. 10 min. walk. The closest restaurant which in our opinion was actually the best of all which we visited was a 2min walk. The town was right on our doorstep, it has plenty of eating places from very traditional Cypriot to chinese and Italian. We stayed for 10 days and found plenty of choices of eating places and drinking places. The villa is in a cul-de-sac so nice and private. We sat and ate our breakfast on the front balcony every morning looking down to the sea. There is a little traffic noise as you are at the top of the cul-de-sac but it didn't bother us. The back area of the villa is great for sunbathing and relaxing. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. We did hire a car as we wanted to get out and see more of this area, however you don't need one if you don't want as all amenities are in walking distance. We will definitley be going back to the villa. When we asked for our security deposit back it was paid back the same day. |

The Location of the villa was just perfect I had a great time and everything I needed was right at hand.
