Home description

• Blue River Apartment is located in the lovely town of Pernera which many say is the jewel in the crown of the local coastline. In a friendly yet peaceful area of town Blue River Apartment is perfect for lounging by the pool or strolling three minutes up the road to pretty Pernera beach.

• Pernera’s sunny golden beach has opportunities for water-sports and is en route to long beautiful walks for those who prefer to explore historical ruins. Local amenities are of an excellent standard as are the lovely restaurants and popular and stylish bars. 20 minutes walk away is the bigger town of Protaras which is packed with entertainment, nightlife and popular shops.

• Blue River Apartment is airy and modern and with one double bedroom and one twin (both en-suite) it sleeps four people and has ample space for dining and relaxing.

The Famagusta District

• Cyprus is the sunniest island in the Mediterranean. It enjoys more sunshine than any other Mediterranean destination - typically 340 days of sunshine a year. During July and August the temperature can be well above 30 degrees centigrade and Autumn extends well into November.

• The Famagusta District, on the island's south-east coast and was once the main port of Cyprus and is a popular but still beautifully preserved holiday destination.


Protaras / Pernera area

• Year after year, visitors come back to the charming town of Pernera, it really has that holiday feel and boasts all of the attractions you would expect with some excellent restaurants and superb sandy beaches. There are water-sports like snorkelling down at the beach and a nearby water-park for the adventurous. There are beautiful walks through the hills, historical ruins and a coliseum to visit as well as a nearby golf course.

• Take the beach road walk with amazing views from Pernera to its larger neighbour of Protaras which boasts the fabulous Fig Tree Bay Beach. Protaras is also known for its great fish restaurants and has plenty of buzzing shops and bars and an active nightlife.


How to get there

• Fly into Larnaca – the apartment is a 45 minutes drive from the airport.
• Cheap flights available from Easyjet, British Airways, Monarch, Thomson and Cyprus Air.
• Airport taxis can be booked online at www.larnaca-airport.info.
• Alternatively there are always cheap local taxis available once you arrive.
• Car hire available at www.easycar.com or www.hertz.co.uk from as little as 20 Euros a day

• The large double room has ample cupboard and storage space is matched by a twin room of the same size – both with en-suite bathrooms and classically decorated. The well equipped modern kitchen has a beautiful dining set and modern table and chairs and leads on to the living room where large comfy sofas beckon after a day in the sun. There is also an extra WC off the corridor leading to the bedrooms.

Further details outdoors:
• French doors lead from the living room outside to the swimming pool and additional external shower. The pool is shared with the apartment upstairs which is often empty (so you effectively have the pool to yourself) and the garden is fully equipped with sun loungers and table/chairs.

• Blue River Apartment is on a quiet road with it's driveway at the front with space to park a car.

• Full payment of rental fee is due one month prior to your stay and 25% of this rental fee is requested at the time of your booking.
