The Famagusta region
With hot summer days and long warm evenings, Cyprus makes an ideal holiday destination from early Spring to late Autumn.
The Famagusta district offers everything day and night from lively bars and clubs in Ayia Napa and Protaras to excellent restaurants which offer traditional Cypriot fayre, fish restaurants and more typical British menus for the less adventurous. By day you can experience most water-sports at the beach in Protaras throughout the season as well as the Waterpark in Ayia Napa.
The harbour in Ayia Napa is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.
The Protaras / Kapparis area
Kapparis is a new area, which has expanded to meet its neighbouring town of Paralimni in one direction, and extended down towards the coast in the other direction within walking distance to the nearest beach.
There are many new facilities to cater for all the holiday makers needs, including easy access to the local supermarket which is situated on the main road going into Paralimni.
Kapparis can boast one of the best views across to the ghost town of Famagusta, where you can see amazing details of the derelict buildings by way of a quiet and enjoyable nature walk along a sea cliff.
Kyklades is close to the beeches of Ayia Trias and Skoutari, both in easy walking distance. Close to Restaurants and local shops a car is not essential for your holiday, although you may choose to hire one to explore the island. Protaras is a short taxi ride away, with its Blue Flag beeches and its abundance of watersports, is well worth a visit.

Flights in to Larnaca are available from many Airlines from the U.K. Monach fly regularly from Luton and are competatively priced. Both British Airways and Cyprus Airways operate daily scheduled flights to Larnaca (check their respective websites for up to date details).
The apartment is about 45-50 minutes drive from Larnaca Airport, taxis are readily available & prices vary, but if you want to hire a car, we use www.economycarrentals.com, prices start from around £12 per day, depending on the time of year & type of car. Roads are easy to navigate in Cyprus and driving is on the left side of the road, as in the U.K. which makes it easier for U.K. residents.
To find the apartment, head for the dual carriageway out of the Airport towards 'Ayia Napa' and 'Protaras', Kapparis is about 3km north of Protaras, which is well signposted.

Myself and my husband stayed in this apartment for our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. An ideal location, stepping out of the front gate and straight into the warm swimming pool each morning was a bonus. The apartment was extremely clean and tidy on arrival, all mod cons were supplied, altho we did eat out for most of our vacation. The complex is also a short walk into the main town area, several supermarkets are located on the main street, all of which are friendly and speak good english. Some fantastic restaurants are also in the main Kapparis area.
We had a great time and would definitely book this again. No complaints what so ever.
