The Famagusta District
Cyprus-the sunshine island, with exotic fragrances and eastern Mediterranean flavours. Wonderful beaches white sand and clear water are to be found in the resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras. Do make sure you visit Macronissos Beach and Konnos Bay. Larnaca offers a market town and excellent shopping, or simply take a stroll along the prominade, or visit the Mosque and salt lake on the outskirts of the town. The well preserved church of St Lazaras, is not to be missed. Nicosia the capital and divided city together with the Troodos Mountains and preserved villages of Kakopetria and Omodos are a must to visit. This list is endless............................
Protaras / Pernera area
The increasingly popular Pernera area has a shoreline of brilliant blue sea, small sheltered sandy bays and rugged cliffs. The centre of Pernera where you will find a well stocked supermarket and a selection of restaurants, cafes and bars offering a good variety of low key entertainment are a two minute drive. 5 kilometres along the coast is the busier resort of Protaras offering a wide range of friendly restaurants, cosy tavernas, bars and shopping opportunities to suit the whole family. The resort of Ayia Napa is approximately 15 minutes by car if you require a livelier nightlife. The local bus stops just a couple of minutes walk from the villa and will take you through all the coastal resorts right to the famous water park at Ayia Napa or in the other direction into the traditional town of Paralimni. This is the main town of the area and is a traditional busy Cypriot town offering wonderful churches, shops, and cafes - sit and watch the world go by.
How to get there
Larnaca airport is the nearest to the villa and is a 45 minute drive. Paphos airport is 90 minutes away.

Further details indoors: A spacious 3 bedroom holiday villa with pool in Pernera near Protaras. A 5 minute walk to the marina and beach by the Golden Coast Hotel. There is a bar and taverna within a couple of minutes as well as a small supermarket. The resort of Pernera with shops, bars and restaurants is within walking distance although car hire is recommended to explore further afield.
The ground floor is open plan with both the dining area and lounge overlooking the pool. It is furnished with a leather suite and has a TV and DVD. There is a well-equipped kitchen and separate cloakroom. A marble staircase leads to the first floor where there are three double bedrooms, the master bedroom having a king-size bed and en-suite facilities. There is also a family bathroom on the first floor. An extra bed/cot and high chair can be provided if required for a small supplement.
The villa has a kidney shaped pool with Jacuzzi at one end and sunbeds are provided. There is a BBQ and outside dining furniture. The villa has an open rooftop area which is ideal for private sunbathing.
Air conditioning is optional and costs €4.50 per unit per day payable in resort.

Air conditioning is optional and is charged at 4.50 euros per unit per day payable in resort. There is one air conditioning unit in each bedroom and one in the lounge.

Terms of Booking:
A 50% deposit is required to reserve the villa with the balance payable 8 weeks before your arrival date. Payment can be made by bank transfer into our UK or Cyprus bank account or by debit/credit card via Paypal but this does incur a 3.5% service charge.
A £250 refundable deposit is required against damages and breakages. This is payable with your final payment and will be refunded in full within in 2 weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
For 2009 bookings we are currently taking a 25% deposit now to reserve the villa with a further 25% payable by the end of January 2009. The balance is then payable 8 weeks before the arrival date.
We only accept family bookings at this villa and do not accept bookings from single sex parties.
Guestbook
With 4 children this Villa really suited our needs, especially since we did not want to hire a car the whole duration, and the opportunuty to walk to a taverna across the road, suited our needs, please ask Diane for her endless supply of information regarding places to go and places to eat! Walking to the beach near-by was an added bonus.
