The long white sandy beaches around the family resort of Protaras, including the famous Fig Tree Bay and the picturesque Connos Bay set in the stunning Cape Greco National Park, are just a short 10 to 15 minute drive or bus ride away, whilst the larger, livelier town of Ayia Napa is only 15 minutes away.
In addition to relaxing by the large private pool or on the beach you can enjoy a whole range of activities including the exhilarating slides at the famous Ayia Napa water park, one of the largest in Europe, catamaran cruises around the coast, scuba diving ( including try-dives for beginners ) , snorkelling in the crystal clear waters and walking or cycling along the beautiful coastal pathways.
Paralimni the administrative capital of the area is just 2 kms inland, offers a more traditional view of Cyprus with beautiful historic squares and churches, lovely bakeries, cafes, restaurants and exclusive shops.
Sailing is offered by the Famagusta District Sailing Club at nearby Ayia Triada next door to Kapparis, Lasers, Catamarans and Windsurfing on offer. You can also crew. www.begafigo.com

"Lovely villa in a lovely location"
We had one of the most relaxing and best holidays we have ever had in Villa Aphrodite. What a lovely villa and brilliant location. The villa is just a 5min walk from a really nice beach where you can snorkel and swim although there is no umbrellas and shade on this beach so its nice to go down in the evening and finish off the day there. We didn't go to Fireman's beach which looked a little crowded but equally as nice as our little find. The restaurants and supermarket are just a 10min stroll from the villa and our favourites were Folios and Faliros although the rest were just as good. If you want to venture out without hiring a car then you need to walk to the other end of the town to the roundabout and hop on a bus to either Paralimini, Protaras or further afield - the buses are quite frequent and if you are lucky you get an air conditioned one!! Frank provided a great airport transfer service at a reasonable price all organised by Deena the villa's owner. Frank and his wife, Clare, maintain the villa and they are a mindful of information and very happy to help you in any way they can. Deena is also great and a brilliant source of information too and very, very happy to help. All in all a very good holiday and one that we would love to repeat in the not too distant future. We will definitely be looking to book again. Thank you.

We stayed at this lovely villa for the Easter holidays. From the start of my first enquiry everything was perfect. The owner Deena was so kind and helpful and gave us lots of advice. The villa was very clean and modern but at the same time very homely! The villa has everything you need for a holiday and a bit extra. The children loved the large pool and all the pool toys and we were very lucky to have great weather. The villa had plenty of space and the kitchen area was well layed out and well equipped. We had a bbq one day , it was so nice to have a good size bbq! as so many holiday lets have tiny ones. The location of the villa is perfect being so close to the beach, supermarket and so many good restaurants. Kapparis is a lovely place to have a holiday and so close to lots of other towns if you want to venture out. We hired a car which i would recommend to make the most of the area. Car hire is cheap and there are so many other beautiful beaches to explore. Pernera is a lovely town and has many good restaurants and you can go on boat trips from here. Protaras has a great mini golf and amusement centre and also a huge amount of restaurants and bars to choose from. Ayia Napa is fantastic for all ages and has a funfair which the kids loved! Pernera is 5mins in car ,Protaras 10mins and Ayia Napa 25mins. We know this area very well and would recommend this lovely villa! You will have a fantastic time and the customer service from the owners you will find very hard to beat!

"Lovely Villa in Fab Location"
We, 4 adults and 1 child, stayed at Villa Aphrodite in October and had a fantastic break. The villa is well equipped - a real home from home - and very well maintained. The location is excellent for exploring this part of Cyprus It is a great escape from the hustle and bustle but with the benefit of easy access to a wealth of towns and beaches, that is if you can drag yourself away from the well kept garden and superb pool!! There really is something for everyone in this area - a wealth of great beaches, lovely walks, a fantastic choice of great restaurants and shopping. We spent a great day out at the nearby waterpark. We will definitely be making a return visit as there is so much more we want to see and do in the area. Many thanks to the owner Deena for the smooth booking procedure and for providing clear directions from airport.
