Welcome to Villa Azur, a brand new 5* luxury, spacious and child friendly villa located just 3 minutes walk to Pernera’s best beaches and the beautiful clear azur waters of the mediterranean sea. Our Villa is furnished and equipped to a very high standard with no expense spared. Villa Azur is in an excellent location, in the exclusive gated development of Crystal Lagoon in the heart of the popular resort of Pernera, Protaras. Quiet and peaceful and private (the villa is not overlooked), yet close to a superb range of amenities (bars, restaurants, tavernas, beaches, shops).

The villa benefits from its own private pool (pool towels included and can be heated on request), with a shallow end perfect for children. The outside patio area benefits from a secluded dining area with scented lemon tree and gas barbecue, a full set of patio furniture and beautiful landscaped greek inspired garden area at the front of the property with a variety of lovely plants and flowers (including the beautiful bird of paradise). Inside benefits from a full entertainments system including 32’ plasma satellite TV with surround sound downstairs (and 19" plasma TV in bedroom 2), DVD, music system (with MP3 and IPOD speaker set up) and playstation games consol (with selection of games) as well as central heating for winter breaks. We have also equipped the villa for families with children in mind including added safety locks on all patio doors and windows, safety screen to pool area, high quality travel cot and high chair, plug safety covers, 2 stair gates, and high fencing around the pool area. In addition, we have included a selection of DVDs, games and books for your indoor entertainment.

To top it all off, once you arrive at our villa, you will receive a comprehensive welcome pack and our friendly local managers will arrange a 'meet and greet' service with you to help you get the most out of your stay at Villa Azur!.

With plenty in the surrounding area to see and do and the guaranteed year round sunshine, Villa Azur is ideal for summer and winter breaks for friends, families and couples alike. We hope you enjoy as much as we have!.

All bedrooms have plenty of storage space with built in floor to ceiling wardrobes and full length mirrors, touch bedside lamps and remote controlled ceiling fans. There is a hair-dryer in the master bedroom and 19" flat screen TV in bedroom 2 (hooked in to Playstation 2 console).

Kitchen:
Fully fitted Italian designer kitchen with granite worktops including all equipment: cooker, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and utensils.

Spacious and stylish lounge and dining area, quality stone tiling throughout, large extendable table seats 8. Cosy seating area - 32 inch plasma TV, DVD, satellite TV (with English speaking channels to include a selection of film, news and sports channels and cartoons for the kids), music system with MP3/IPOD speaker set up, PS2 games system plus selection of games (including karoeke!), selection of DVDs books and games.
Central heating is inclusive in the price for the cooler months of November to March for that relaxing 'winter' break (when the temperature can typically still reach to up to 25 degrees!).

Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service:
All towels and linen included (including pool towels). Weekly clean and linen change.

Air conditioning throughout.

Patio/pool area: Inviting private pool (can be heated on request) and patio area ideally positioned to benefit from the all day sun. The pool is graded to include a shallow end, ideal for the little ones and we have included 6 Sun loungers, parasol plus lighting throughout outside area, outside shower and shed. There is a private dining and barbecue area (gas BBQ included) with large table and 6 chairs. Lovely plants surround the pool and al fresco dining area including a lovely scented lemon tree. The front patio houses a beautiful greek inspired landscaped garden area with a variety of flowers and plants (including the beautiful bird of paradise). We have also equipped the villa with outside dining equipment including plastic jug, cups and plates. The pool will be tested & cleaned 2 or 3 times a week for you during your stay.

Fencing: We know that privacy and safety is a very important factor so we have added high fencing to surround the patio area for added privacy when relaxing/dining by the pool and extra safety for young children. we have also added a safety screen on patio doors leading to pool area for that added peace of mind.

Parking: Parking space available on the front patio.

Welcome Pack: A comprehensive welcome package is provided within the cost at the beginning of your stay for every booking over 5 days and includes a welcome note, calling card, safety guide and information about the surrounding area.

Our local English speaking managers will arrange a meet and greet appointment within 24 hours of your arrival to help you get the most out of the villa and the area. They will be available throughout your stay for any help or advice and/or response to emergency calls.

Beautiful beach nearby to Villa Azur

The Famagusta region

The Famagusta region is frequently described as the ‘jewel’ of the eastern Mediterranean. The region contains spectacular ruins, including a magnificent amphitheatre, Roman baths and royal tombs. The North of the border has now become accessible to tourists and is 20 minutes drive from the villa to the border at Vrysoulles (don't forget your passport!). Here you can view time stood still in the beautiful harbour town of Kyrenia, well worth a visit.

To the south of the border, there are a variety of locations that will suit everyones preferences, from quiet quaint fishing villages nestled in sandy bays along the coast, to lively towns with a buzzing night life, upscale shopping and beach activities. The safe and crystal clear waters are ideal for swimming, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, snorkelling and scuba diving. The magnificent Fig Tree Bay, one of the island's best beaches, is in this region.

Close to the popular beach resort of Protaras is the town of Paralimni. This small town of 6,000 inhabitants is located approximately 40 minutes drive from Larnaca airport. There are many shops in the old town square and plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Close to the square are charming fountain gardens, with an open air theatre hosting many popular entertainment evenings. The more historically minded will want to visit the museum, housed in the oldest of the town's three churches. Paralimni retains much of its old charm, with local crafts, souvenir shops and picturesque narrow streets. It is not unusual to come across fishermen quietly mending their nets in the shade of the vine-covered courtyards.

The countryside surrounding Paralimni is famous for its windmills. There are many small villages within easy reach of Paralimni, each unique and well worth a visit for their historic and beautiful architecture. To the south of Paralimni is the wild and undeveloped peninsula of Cape Greco national forest park, a protected nature conservation area. The area is open to visitors, offering a wealth of rare flora and fauna, dramatic cliffs with sea caves, and spectacular views. It is known the world over as the destination of choice for snorkeling and scuba diving but also offers a wide range of interests such as cycling, riding, climbing, air sports, and hiking.

Ayia Napa is famous as the party capital of Cyprus. Ayia Napa boasts white sandy beaches, fun-filled theme parks, and the liveliest clubs and bars on the island. Yet a few miles further along, the scene at Potamos Liopetriou couldn’t be more different. Set in a quiet river estuary, this gem of a place is characterized by elaborately decorated fishing boats.

The islands capital, Nicosia, is only an hours drive away and the stunning Troodos mountains can be reached within a couple of hours offering breathtaking views and winter skiing.

The Protaras / Pernera area

Pernera is a seaside village close to Paralimni. The area is known for some of the best beaches in Cyprus, consisting mainly of secluded child friendly sandy bays.

Coast/Beach/Watersports:
Villa Azur is within 3 minutes walking distance to 2 blue flag awarded beaches with their crystal clear waters catering for all manner of watersports including snorkelling, scuba diving and parasailing, great fun for all the family. There are many other beautiful sandy beaches close by either within walking distance or a short drive if you want to explore further afield There is also a fantastic water park in Ayia Napa which has been awarded the best in Europe.

Other Activities:
Boat Trips from the harbour 5 minutes walk away, plenty of excursions including daily trips to the Troodos mountains (where it is possible to ski in the winter months!), Paphos, Larnaca and the capital Nicosia, 3 day cruises e.g to Egypt and Rhodes, Cycling, Fishing, Spa, Jeep safaris, Horse Riding, Donkey riding, Camel riding, Rock climbing, Bird Watching.

Travel:
Larnaca airport is 40 mins drive away. Airport transfers available on request. Car hire is not necessary due to the perfect location close to all amenities, however, if you wish to explore furher afield, there are many car hire companies in the area. Villa Azur is the perfect base for which to discover the south east coast of the island!.

Distances:
The holiday resort of Pernera is approximately 2 km away from the larger town of Protaras which can be reached in 5 minutes by car, bus or by foot in 20 minutes along the beautiful coast. The main town of Parlalimni, with it's local shops, can be easily reached in 10 minutes by car/bus. Ayia Napa is just a short 15 minute drive away if you are looking for livelier antics of an evening.
Villa Azur is close to all the amenities of these fantastic towns/resorts in the east coast of Cyprus. A regular bus service runs along the coast from Paralimni to Protaras, and then on to the resort of Ayia Napa. For added convenience, there is a bus stop is just 2 minutes away from Villa Azur!.

Further details:
A few minutes walk away from Villa Azur, there are a wide range of bars/restaurants/cuisines from Mexican to Chinese and of course the authentic Greek tavernas are not to be missed. For added convenience, there are a large number of supermarkets nearby including a large store just outside the gated complex.
The villa is located within easy reach of a number of hotels who positively encourage use of their faciliies to the public.
Many of the local bars offer free internet access to their customers.

The guaranteed all year round sunshine and numerous activities close to hand means that Villa Azur is perfectly located for fun and relaxation in any season. Enjoy!.

“First Rate Accomodation” We have just returned from leave and would highly recommend Villa Azur. Everything we needed was available to us, it was as good as is described on website. Local agents very friendly and helpful, and lots of info re the area was provided and useful Would definitely return

“Fantastic villa for those who want quality and dont want to have to travel too far for excellent foo” The villa is set in an ideal location as it is close to all amenities and is walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Standard of the villa was excellent and couldnt find fault with anything. Weather was great and the holiday was completely relaxing. Would definitely recommend Knights Pub for excellent food as we went there several times and experienced brilliant service each time. Maintenance people were always easy to get hold of if needed and were present throughout the holiday to check that was all okay.

“Great Villa” We stayed in Villa Azur for 10 days in July 2011 and everything was fantastic from start to finish - Lola was so helpful in the booking process and answered all our questions from start to finish - Marce who greeted us when we arrived was so friendly and advised us on restaurants (including Sizzlers which was a family run restuarant and the food was great) and supermarkets etc to Dan the pool man who again was so friendly and helpful in telling us about the area etc. The villa was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed - a real home from home! What more can we say but we hope you enjoy your holiday as much as we did - Thanks to everybody involved in Villa Azur!

Crystal Lagoon is the perfect location in Pernera and the Villa Azur is the perfect villa in Crystal Lagoon. I had the opportunity of visiting other villas in the area and Crystal Lagoon is certainly the place to be. I was also able to spend some time in another villa in Crystal Lagoon and the Villa Azur beat it hands down. The swimming pool is not overlooked from the back and has a privacy fence at the front.
The villa has everything for comfort, relaxation and pleasure. Very child friendly but not at the expense of the adults. There is a selection of DVDs and games should you want a quiet evening.
The booking was handled from start to finish in a very professional manner. The owner obviously takes great pride in offering an excellent service. This is carried through by the managing couple who are always available, but never intrusive. The managing couple were friendly and gave every assistance you could need.
The villa was clean, tidy, comfortable and the description was accurate. It is an excellent choice for families with children, and also for those without. Fantastic welcome pack greeted us. The location was fantastic as you could stroll round the corner and enjoy all that Pernera has to offer. Yes, I am raving about the villa. It played a big part in a fabulous week. We were fortunate enough to stay at Villa Azur in March 2010. The Villa is gorgeous- very simple- extremely clean and has everything you require- so totally feels like you are home from home. The welcome pack is great as you do not feel like you have to locate a supermarket immediately since you are provided with the essentials! When we stayed at the villa we stayed with our 17 month old son and the villa provided us with, stair gates, highchair and a cot which was absolutely fabulous. The pool and furniture are great also and everyone we met were very pleasant and accommodating. The location is lovely and felt extremely safe- not far from the villa is a small beach. Also within a five minute walk were a number of restaurants- the Italian is excellent. Also within a 10-15 mins walk there are a few more restaurants and amenities. If you wish to venture a little further for shopping head to Paralimni which is about 10mins drive away or Protoras for evenings which is 10mins drive away- Great Restaurant at the very end of the Town called Nicholas- the best Cypriot food we have ever eaten and we have eaten a lot!!! I do not think car hire is essential unless you plan on doing a lot of sightseeing and there are local car hire firms within walking distant of the villa should you require a car. If you wish to have a very relaxed break with nice food and people I would highly recommend this villa. Family from Hertfordshire: March 2010

Perfect location for a relaxing holiday. Villa Azur was perfect. It was clean, spacious, comfortable and was a joy to spend 1 week there. Everything needed was at your finger tips. The location was great for the beach which took all of 3 mins to walk. I can't describe how nice the whole package was. It was just brilliant. Excellent villa. Extremley well furnished. Everything is in the property and of a high quality. The property was very clean (pool cleaned twice during the week). Property is very well located (2 mins to the beaches). We would definitely recomend it and will definitely be booking again. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and found the property/area/holiday very relaxing. The property is set up to ensure a relaxing holiday eg: we found the information booklet useful and clear. Fantastic holiday. Villa Azur is beautiful and looks exactly the same as the photographs and description advised. Locals are very friendly and I can't stress enough how great everything was about this villa/holiday. We were told of a local restaurant called Mojitos (English owned); the food was absolutely gorgeous, huge portions, beautifully presented & well priced. We have just come back from a week in Cyprus where we stayed at Villa Azur. The villa was just fantastic! We went during the lower season and there were fewer tourists in the area so we were really delighted to enjoy the sophisticated and cosy atmosphere inside and outside the villa. The décor is great and the features very stylish, it looks even better than in the photos!. We were also very pleased with the spacious ousitde dining area. There is some building work in the area but we were lucky as the villa is well located right by a green area and it is all really very private and quiet. I will definitely come back soon during summer. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an enjoyable and stylish holiday under the sun!. Harry and Veronica Dec 08.

I have had a great week at this villa. It was fantastic, very special. The 1st impression I got from the outside was great and I was not disappointed once inside.
The features are lovely, proper kitchen as well. I stayed in the master bedroom, particularly enjoyed having breakfast early morning on the balcony. The swimming pool is great, the right size and you feel isolated from the rest of the development with the fence. For the evenings when we did not feel like going out, we enjoyed the bbq area, again it was all very nice and private. To top it off, the villa location is excellent (very close to beaches, restaurants and shops).
In summary we had a great time there and will definitely be coming back, highly recommended! . James T Oct 08
