As this is also a home that we use regularly, we have furnished & equipped our villa with good quality, comfort & relaxation a priority. Therefore, we are sure that you will find everything you need to make your stay here a truly wonderful one.
This beautiful south east corner of Cyprus offers some of the islands very best Blue Flag beaches, with 340 days of sunshine a year to help you make the most of them. A five minute walk finds you in the resort of Pernera, with its many family friendly restaurants and bars and the more lively strip of Protaras is just a short walk further on.

The Famagusta District
Famagusta, on the south east corner of this beautiful island, is a region of fertile red soil, old windmills, and fabulous beaches, the best-known resort being Agia Napa. It also has a beautiful 16th century monastery and the breathtaking Cape Greco.
To the north are the villages of Liopetri, known for its basket-making, Sotira, with its small 15th and 16th century churches and Dherynia with its Folk Art Museum and the Cultural Centre of the occupied town of Famagusta, and viewpoints to look into this "ghost town". The whitewashed largest village in the area is Paralimni, which contrasts with the modern beach resort of Protaras.
The islands capital, Nicosia, is only an hours drive away and the beautiful Troodos mountains can be reached within a couple of hours offering breathtaking views and Winter skiing.
Protaras / Pernera area
Pernera has many good quality restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk of our villa. This area offers a relaxed, family friendly atmosphere and the more vibrant resort of Protaras, is just some 10 minutes walk further on. There, you will find the lively bars and nightclubs. Many supermarkets, pharmacies and gift shops can be found in both areas.
Just a short stroll from our villa is the beautiful & sheltered bay of Louma, with its picturesque blue & white church. Its gentle sloping sandy shores give way to the crystal clear waters of the Med, where you can wade in & watch the tiny fish swim around your feet.
There are several Blue Flag beaches in this area, ranging from the quiet & peaceful ones to those offering jet ski hire & banana boat rides. The world famous Fig Tree Bay is only a ten minute walk & Konnos a short drive away.
Although there are several supermarkets locally, for 1.5euro you can also jump on the local bus & ride anywhere from Aiya Napa, some ten minutes to your south, to Paralimni, the largest village with bigger supermarkets, ten minutes to the north.

Many airlines now travel to Cyprus, including Monarch, British Airways & Cyprus Air.
The nearest airport is Larnaca. This is a 45 minute car journey along the highway.
There are many car hire companies operating from the airport as well as taxis to hire upon arrival.
Alternatively, we are able to organise a transfer service in a private car.
This is offered at a reduced rate to that of the cost of a taxi service, please enquire upon booking.

Further details indoors: The large open plan lounge diner offers two deep leather sofas surrounding the coffee table and footstool, positioned to make the most of the 32" plasma TV with satellite & DVD player. Here you will also find the iPod docking station and ps2. Separating this area and the dining table for six are the patio doors leading onto the pool terrace. A selection of books, games and puzzles are also provided for you to enjoy.
The designer kitchen fitted with soft-close drawers, is equipped with everything from a large fridge and freezer, oven, hob, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, extensive selection of pans, serving bowls, M&S china and glassware and just about every utensil imaginable. The essential teas, coffees and milk will be provided for your arrival.
The master bedroom has a king-size divan bed, bedside cabinets and lights, a large dresser and two full height double wardrobes. A hair-dryer and full length mirror are also provided for you. The sun floods the balcony off this room providing an idyllic spot to sit enjoy your morning coffee or tea. The contemporary en suite shower room is fully tiled and has a wc and designer wash stand unit.
Bedroom two has a double divan bed, large dresser, side lights and again a mirror, hair-dryer & double wardrobes. The large third bedroom has a full size white wooden bunk bed, fitted with a safety rail on the top. Two double wardrobes, dresser and mirror.
All of our bedrooms have remote controlled air-conditioning units and also oscillating moveable room fans for those who prefer. For the cooler winter months, we have central heating and duck down and feather duvets will be provided. All the beds have feather pillows, extra cushions and throws.
The family bathroom has a large bath with shower over, wc and designer washstand unit. A separate wc can also be found at the foot of the stairs.
We have also provided a cot bed, high chair, selection of plastic plates, cutlery and beakers for those travelling with young children.
All linens, bathroom and beach towels are included. These will be changed once a week and are professionally cleaned and sterilised. The villa will also be cleaned once a week for you and you will be informed when this will happen.
Our villa also has full central heating, very uncommon in Cyprus!
Further details outdoors: As our villa occupies a corner plot, the landscaped garden provides a choice of areas with complete privacy for sunbathing under the 3m parasols or in the full sun. So you can lay out on the loungers with cushions, cool off in the 8m x 4m pool or relax back into one of the reclining wooden chairs at the extendable table, sip a glass of wine and make eating alfresco from the charcoal BBQ an all afternoon event. The front of the property enjoys a balcony for catching the setting evening sun.
The private driveway provides off road parking and the wrought iron gate can be bolted to keep young children secure. In the pool house you will find beach chairs and umbrella for exploring those secluded remote beaches. We also have a 'thermo' shopping trolley that makes easy work of transporting food and drinks back from the local shops or to the beach and ensures they stay cool.
The pool will be tested and cleaned twice a week for you during your stay.
Further details
The prices shown are per villa per week. A security / damage deposit of £300 GBP is required to secure your booking and will be returned to you within two weeks of your departure following a satisfactory inspection of the villa and furnishings and an inventory check.
All provisional bookings will be held for ten days allowing time for your security / damage deposit to clear our bank.
Payment is to be made in full, six weeks prior to your arrival. If your booking is made within this time then full payment is due upon booking.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful holiday. The villa really is a home from home and you seem to have thought of everything for a family travelling with young children. The cooler bag on wheels was used for our many trips to the beach, and the children loved the DVDs and Playstation games when they needed a break from swimming in the pool ! When the children were resting, the garden was a wonderfully peaceful sanctuary for the parents to enjoy a relaxing time on the sun beds whilst sampling some of the local vino ! We had a wonderful 2 weeks in your beautiful villa it was everything we expected and much more. It was was furnished to the highest standard, a real home from home.
