About the home

The complex has two pools plus children's pool, tennis courts, fully appointed gym, beauty salon, salt caves and a range of other amenities including a poolside drink and snack bar. The house itself is well appointed and furnished to a high standard. There is a playstation2 with games and a range of DVDs, satellite TV is free and both families with young children and couples are well catered for. Little extras including high chair and frappe maker really make this a home from home.

Kyklades complex is one of the first of it's kind combining as it does the flexibility of a self catering holiday with all the luxurious amenities that you would expect from a 5* hotel. Conveniently located within a short distance of Protaras and Ayia Napa with glorious beaches and superb restaurants Kyklades really does have it all. With local beaches that are quiet and unspoilt and a range of restaurants offering both English and more traditional Cyprian menus there is plenty on offer.

Renting a house for your holiday instead of an apartment really gives you the opportunity to benefit from the separate living spaces. With 2 upstairs bedrooms you don't have to worry about disturbing the children while you take advantage of the long balmy evenings out on the terrace with a drink or two!

The house benefits from a downstairs toilet as well as an upstairs bathroom which is useful for larger parties and has both a twin and a double bedroom along with the sofa beds downstairs.

The satellite TV shows a wide range of movies and we have provided a Playstation 2, games and DVDs along with some board games and books.

The Famagusta region

With hot summer days and long warm evenings Cyprus makes an ideal holiday destination from early Spring through to late Autumn.

Famagusta offers everything day and night from the lively clubs and bars in Ayia Napa and Protarus to excellent restaurants which offer traditional Cyprian fayre, fish restaurants and more typical British menus for the less adventurous. By day you can experience most water sports at the beach in Protaras and the harbour in Ayia Napa is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by with a Cyprian Frappe (cold coffee) or a bottle of ice cold Keo.

Cyprus is one of the oldest civilisations of the Mediterranean, one that goes back 10,000 years. Go diving or take a boat trip to the Famagusta ghost town, there is something to appeal to every taste. Hire a car and drive up to the amazing Troodos mountains. Rising to almost 2,000 metres above sea level, the Troodos peaks provide panoramic scenes to all corners of the island, a cool retreat from the heat of the coast and popular for taking in the healthy mountain air and enjoying nature in all its majesty.

The Protaras / Kapparis area

Kyklades is a 5* complex ideally positioned to make the most of what this fabulous island has to offer.

Built to a very high standard the complex is a blend of villas and apartments and the site itself has enough to offer that other than to pop to the shop you may choose to spend your entire holiday here. All guests are able to enjoy the swimming pools, gym centre and tennis courts and for a charge (payable locally) can book treatments in the spa. Children are well catered for with their own pool and are welcomed in to Cyprian restaurants locally.

The Kapparis resort is near to Paralimni and only a few minutes away from the beautiful seashores of Ayia Triada and Kapparis. With close proximity to restaurants, pubs and supermarkets a car is not essential for your holiday though there is plenty to explore should you hire one. Protaras is a short taxi ride away and with it's blue flag beaches and abundance of water sports is well worth a visit. Ayia Napa is famous for it's nightlife but with it's bustling harbour has so much more to offer including a great water park and some fantastic restaurants.

Local markets are well worth a visit and if you like to shop there are plenty to choose from!

Flights in to Larnaca are available with a range of airlines Monarch offer good budget priced fights from Luton while BA and Cyprus Airways run a daily scheduled flight. From Larnaca it is about 40 minutes drive, we generally hire a car from economycarrentals.com and this can cost as little as £10 per day. Taxis are available at the airport but it is cheaper to book online in advance (information available on booking). Roads in Cyprus are easy to navigate and of course driving on the left makes it easier still. From Larnaca airport our house is easy to find being not far outside of Protaras which is well sign posted.

31/07/11 We had an absolutely fantastic holiday, the house was perfect, immaculately clean as was the entire complex, Mark my son enjoyed the ps2 and the swimming pool. We toured the island up to the Troodos, Nicosia and went over the border a couple of times to Famagusta. Kapparis was perfect for us, quiet but with enough resturants and near enough to Protaris for a couple of evenings.

Thankyou for allowing us to enjoy your house it was lovely.



15/08/08 We are staying in your house almost a week now. We find it really nice, well decorated and as you said many items make our holiday easier and more enjoyable. We needed luxury and enjoyable and relaxed holidays and your house satisfied our needs perfectly.

October 08 We have had a lovely week in Cyprus. The house is very clean and the little extras such as the Playstation 2 and frappe machine have gone down great with the children. The pool area is well maintained is very clean and perfect for relaxing by. We recommend Faliros restaurant in Kapparis we have been there twice and had superb food every time. We visisted fig tree bay in Protarus for the day and went to Chi Chi's mexican restaurant which was also worth a visit. In Agia Nappa we visited the Sea Horse Karaoke bar which was fun after a few cocktails. Sun Taxis is a good service and offers 8 seaters at reasonable rates.

Hopefully one day we will return again and enjoy another memorable stay. Thank you.
