Protaras Pernera 3 bed holiday villa with Pool , Jacuzzi and BBQ with motor.

This 3 bed Pernera holiday villa is located on a new development near to the Golden Coast hotel. Sandy beach and Marina is 10 min walk. Protaras is only a 35 minute walk from this villa. Within the complex is a Communal Play Area and a lovely Garden, 2 min walk behind the villa for both adults and children ,

Comprising of an open plan lounge, with a pull out sofa bed for 2, dining for 8, and kitchen. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs along with a family bathroom. There is a Wii game station, DVD player, Dvds and board games. There is a further shower and WC downstairs. Private swimming pool with pool toys and Jacuzzi. Pernera amenities are all within a 10 min walk. The holiday villa is perfect for a twin location of the more gentle Pernera, and the busier Protaras.

The villa has been delightfully furnished with Japanese Elm wood furniture to give it a warm homely feeling .

There is a DVD,CD, mp3,i phone and iPod docking station with digital Radio . We have for your pleasure provided play station2 with games, Wii Game Station with two remote controls etc. for which we have provided films, games and karaoke CD.
One travel Cot, High chair and Safety Gate is provided free of charge.
The villa is fitted with smoke detectors, fire blanket, fire extinguisher, a first aid kit and a safe.
We have also provide alarm clocks and a hair dryer in each bedroom.
Water cooler.
GeorgeForman grill .
Meet and Greet and welcome pack and bottle of wine is provided free of charge.
Cooler box with picnic mat. Picnic set for four people.

The Famagusta region

Sunshine is abundant during the whole year and particularly from April to Septemper ; when the average duration of sunshine exceeds 11 hours per day. In July and August average temperature ranges from
36 to 27C. The mean annual temperature for the island as a whole is 20C.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus is in Potaras. Fig Tree Bay is a stretch of sun, sea and sand so clear, clean and blue you could be forgiven for thinking you were in the Caribbean. While your kids are building sand castles to their hearts’ content, you could catch up on your sun worshipping or even go for long walks to clear your body and mind. Work off the stresses of your daily life with the plethora of watersports found on the beach, and then treat the family to a lovely fresh meal at the Fig Tree Bay Taverna.

If you’re up for a bit of action, then you really need to brave the walk and go to Cape Greco. From the sea cliffs with their sparkling waters to the beautiful indigenous fauna, this wildly beautiful area is great for some “me” time.

Prepare to be captivated by a spectacular sunset from the top of the hill on the Protaras Road, where you will find Ayios Elias Church. It takes a hundred steps to get up the hill, but once you’ve braved the climb, you will find one of the most breathtaking views in Cyprus. Try and go close to sunset, just to see the amazing colours of the sun as it makes its dazzling descent. following a day at the beech and the climb , you will have worked up a big appetite. You will not be disappointed with nearly every kind of restaurant you can think of . The exclusive Eden square is great place to experience Japanese food cooked in front of your table. There is also the normal high street favourites of Macdonalds, Pizza Hut etc

The Protaras / Pernera area

Pernera in Cyprus is probably not one of the best known resorts on the East coast but it is certainly one of the nicest. Nestling below a hill this pretty little town has plenty to offer and holiday makers return there year after year.

The main street sweeps right down to the sea front where there are several sandy bays protected by stone outcrops. These are perfect for bathing and snorkelling in the warm crystal clear Mediterranean waters. Being so well protected these bays are great for families with small children and there is plenty of shallow water for the little ones to paddle in. In essence Pernera is first and foremost a beach holiday resort and the bigger hotels actually front right onto the bays. Lovers of water sports will have plenty of activities to get their teeth into including wind surfing and water skiing to name just a couple.

If you fancy a Cyprus boat trip Pernera is the place to be with its bustling harbour you will be spoilt for choice. Everything from leisurely cruises to heart stopping power boat rides can be booked there. Or maybe you prefer to just relax and watch the world go by with a nice cool drink. If so there is a great waterfront cafe right on Penera harbour where you can take in that beautiful view over the Mediterranean Ocean. On clear days you can see right across to Famagusta and the peninsula of Northern Cyprus. Several organized sea fishing trips also sail from the harbour catering for all levels including first timers so you could even catch your own dinner.

The town of Paralimni has a number of popular shops ranging from Marks and Spencer to french supermarket Carrefour . Paralimni has a lovely town square with coffee bars where the locals spend evenings playing table games and children playing in the near by play area and fountain

Larnaca Airport is only 35 minutes away and Paralimni town just 5 minutes while the many taverns, cocktail bars, cafes and shops are within walking distance.

Directions from Larnaca Airport

The Villa is about 45 min from Larnaca airport
As you leave the airport take the first exit at the roundabout.
.
You are now on the main road to the East Coast (A3). Agia/Paralimni
Stay on this main road for about 25 miles following signs for Paralimni / Agia Napa.

When you reach the roundabout [which is the end of the motor way] take the first filter exit [left] toward Paralimni.
At the next roundabout, turn right toward Protaras.
Follow this road, over a mini roundabout until you reach a T junction with traffic lights. Turn left at the lights.
Drive 300m and take the right turn.
follow this road and take the first left . [This road leads to the beach where Golden Coast Hotel is situated. ] You will find the villa on your Left after about 200 to 300 metres, Just before "Pinias" restaurant on your right.

We stayed at the villa from 3rd until 14th June and everything was just like designed on the site. The welcome pack is a fantastic idea especially for people like us who arrived late. Our grandchildren loved the pool which was kept maintained by Rick & Ash and the hot tub got to temp throughout our stay. The play area was also brilliant. If you don't have car hire, you can easily walk up the road for the water machine and it only cost 1 euro to fill it up. Pernera is quiter than Protarus but still a wonderful town with plenty of bars and restaurants. It's just like a home from home and you don't need to buy travel adaptors has the plugs are all UK std and there is an hairdryer in each of the main bedrooms. Jan & Sue are lovely ladies and will always help with anything you need has will Rick & Ash.
We will definitely reccomend Rashmita & Chandresh beautiful villa to family and friends.

Hi , Rashmita & Chandresh,,, sorry i haven't been in touch both me and pauline have been really busy with work this is my first day at home since we got back from cyprus and i haven't had access to my emails, first of all i would like to say the villa was fantastic the set out, the pool& everything about it was just what we wanted the only down fall was we didn't hire a car and we should have, as taxis were expensive but that's irrelevant to the villa the people who run it i.e. rick,ash ,sue&jan were excellent they couldn't do enough for us . credit to were its due to your self too because every thing that's noted in the guest book any faults or moans are rectified straight away ,we will be recommending your villa to every one thanks for every thing jamie,pauline ..

"We had a great time at this lovely villa, we could not believe the weather 27-31 all week and that's in November.
The villa is very well equiped everything you could possibly need and more.
The hot tub was fantastic and used every day and night, the pool was also great though a bit cold but it was November.
The villa was very clean and well maintained.
It was only about a 10 minute walk to a good selection of bars and restaurants.
We would like to thank the owners for a quick and easy trouble free booking.
We would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to our friends and family."

We have got married on Cyprus at the middle of September and have rent three villas in the same complex - the Mandarine villa also. And we can say that the Mandarine villa was really the best!!! It is really wonderful!
Firstly a few words about location: 5-10 minutes by foot and you are on the beautiful beach with calm clean blue water. Also you can find a restaurant near the villa. If you rent a car - 20 minutes and you are in Aya-Napa with its amazing bars and non-stop nightlife.
Further about villa: you can find EVERYTHING you need - washing and dishwashing machine, iron, wii, bbq, swimming pool...and jacuzzi!=)
I really can advise: rent this villa and you will not be sorry for it!
we have spent really wonderful week!

This villa is fantastic. It ticked all the boxes for our family holiday. The pool was a great size and well maintained.

The villa was also very clean and well decorated/furnished it is like a home away from home.

There are lots of good restaurants and things to do and the owners have put together a folder with all this sort of information in it which was very useful.
With very friendly owners and maintenance team I would highly recommend this property. We will be booking a return visit for next year very soon.
Recommended for: Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We found Mandarin Villa to be very clean and welcoming, upon arriving at midnight, the welcome pack was greatfully received. We would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wants a villa holiday away from all the hustle and bustle of a busy resort but have access to restaurants and bars within 10 minutes walk.

We stayed at the Mandarin Villa end of May beginning of June. The location was excellent, close enough to busy Protaras but closer still to Pernera which has a more laid back feel. The villa is beautifully furnished with many extras (including a Wii and DVD) making it ideal for a family stay. The pool is a great size and ideal for kids and teens alike with the hot tub giving an extra special feel. I have seen a number of villas in the Protaras area and this was definitely the best. The management company were friendly and gave us all the information we needed plus some extra tips on how to make the best of the area.
Rashmita and Chandresh (the proprietors) were very efficient and responded to correspondence efficiently particularly during the nightmare BA/volcanic ash problems. We felt like we were treated as individuals and not like faceless guests.
We were married from the Mandarin Villa and we are already looking forward to returning next year, it is a very special place!

The discription of this villa and its location were Excellant as was the, layout and facilities. The property was clean and well maintained, the swimmingpool guy came twice which maintained hygiene, the pool is invariabley a focus point of children and families relaxing. The owner provided excellant customer service, and the welcome pack(milk, bread, tea, coffee wine ETC) was great, Aswas the TV, DVD Wii, and satalite TV.There was nothing left unthought of, and the cleaning team were more than helpfull.
We would definitely recommend this property to friends.
All the resaurants we went to were more than friendly, we did not have any dislikes or favourits, as we prefer to eat different types of food.

We just got back from our holidays. The villa was great, well equipped, exactly as expected! All very clean; the house the pool the hot tub! Hot tub did not warm more than 32 degree but it was fine anyway
