You literally step off your private terrace onto the poolside area, with its children's' pool and adjoining main pool and waterfall. The terrace itself is expansive and tastefully furnished.
There is also a second, furnished, private patio at the other side (front) of the apartment where guests can enjoy the sunset in quiet privacy, and where children can play in the playpark overlooked by that second patio.
With one double and one twin bedroom, travel cot/playpen and highchair the apartment is ideal for families. The owners have furnished the apartment to a very high standard. The bedroom furnishings and floor to ceiling bedroom fitted wardrobes, as well as the dining suite, are all high quality solid wood. The sofas in the lounge are leather.
The bathroom is fully tiled with shower and shower screen. The air conditioning is high spec and operated throughout by remote control.
The interior benefits from tasteful pictures, mirrors and rugs which make this a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay, and in which you will immediately feel at home.
Guests staying for more than one week can have a weekly changeover of linen and towels (at a small additional cost paid locally to the owners' agent)

The main pool is generously proportioned and well maintained, with unusual waterfall feature. The pool area also has showers and a shaded pagoda area. The additional toddlers' pool is situated yards from your main private terrace, and has a lovely mushroom water feature .
There are ample sunbeds and umbrellas (free of charge) available in the poolside area. There are also external underground changing facilities, showers and toilets.
Your main private terrace is beautifully tiled, and has a very comfortable external dining suite for al fresco dining. The ambience of that terrace is enhanced by two large palm plants (which guests are invited to water once a week) in each corner.
There is a second terrace or patio at the front door of the apartment: again, it is beautifully tiled, with comfortable reclining chairs and table. Main terrace for sunrise/breakfast; second terrace/patio for sunset. The children's playpark which adjoins the second patio has swings, chute and see-saw.
There is also a covered parking space for your exclusive use a few yards from the apartment.

Owners' English-speaking agent is on hand to deal with any problems arising and to ensure smooth handover of apartment on arrival and departure.
This agent also arranges airport pick-ups for those requesting same at time of booking and can, on request and in exchange for payment (cheaper than local taxis) locally, also arrange local transport for guests during their stay (eg to beaches, supermarkets, towns etc). This may be useful for guests not having hired car or otherwise requiring such assistance.
The Famagusta District
The Famagusta District is located in the south east corner of Cyprus. This is the part of the island which has the best sandy beaches (the other main holiday areas of Cyprus - Paphos, Limassol etc. - tend to have only rocky or stony beaches).
Famagusta district is also famed for its red soil, making it one of the most richly cultivated areas in the Mediterranean, famous for its delicious potatoes especially, as well as fruit and vegetable produce.
The district is made up of a series of picturesque Greek villages (know as the "red villages" after the rich soil). The apartment is ideally located for touring these villages for those wanting a day away from the beach/pool.
The location combines the tranquillity of a small resort away from the bustle of Ayia Napa and Protaras, but with easy access to those resorts.
There are convenient motorway links within 10 minutes, to allow guests to see more of this ancient, historic, and sun-drenched island. The main regional town of Paralimni (of which Kapparis is now a developing and fashionable coastal suburb) is only 5 minutes drive away, and is a very picturesque town with beautiful churches and many restaurants, bars, shops (incl. Marks & Spencer!) and other amenities of a bustling, local town
Kapparis is quite different from the neighbouring holiday resorts of Protaras, Pernera and Ayia Napa. Kapparis is peaceful and relaxing (Protaras, Pernera and Ayia Napa are bustling and noisy).
Yet Kapparis also has a number of very good restaurants, bars and shops. Also, Kapparis is more of a residential resort (with villas and apartments, rather than the high rise blocks of Protaras and Pernera), which is really a new suburb of the main regional town of Paralimini.
As such, it is an ideal base for those who do not want to be surrounded by bright lights and noise, but at the same time have immediate access to good amenities. Kapparis also has its own sandy beach - Fireman's Cove, about 15 minutes walk from the Apartment (2-3 minutes if you use your hire car).
There are other beaches in the area, in Protaras (Fig Tree Bay) about 5 minutes drive away. In Ayia Napa you have Ayia Napa Beach, Sandy Bay, Nissi Beach, Landa Beach and Macronissos Beach (all sandy) between 10 and 15 minutes drive away.
For those who want lively evening entertainment (clubs etc) Protaras and Ayia Napa have everything you could need (a short drive or taxi ride away).
For those who enjoy hiking/walking, there are beautiful coastal pathways marked which enable the more energetic to hike the coastline right round from Kapparis (on the east coast) round to the outskirts of Ayia Napa (on the south coast).

"Kids loved it"
Great appartment close to pool which the children loved!! Everything you needed for a home away from home!!
As we had younger children found it a bit of a walk to the restaurants and bars as a lot of unmade footpaths and quite dark!!
Hired a car and went into Protarus and Pernera both great with some lovely restaurants.
Would definately come to chromata and this appartment again!!
